We were struck in Dubai for 2 nights and were alloted this hotel, the room was quite big spacious, well lit and well decorated. We are family of four so got 2 rooms, one suite and an adjoining one on 4th floor, the Air-conditioning of bedroom in suite wasn't functioning and also the water in shower of both rooms only gave hot water, even after numerous reports to housekeeping and reception they didn't bother a bit. One of us squeezed ourself in our kids bed and one on sofa, as the bedroom was too hot. The one particular female staff's attitude at the reception is not acceptable, she was pretty rude when asked to look into the shower water connection. Food was good and the staff at the cafe were good enough. Location is prime and easy to locate.

I had an amazing experience at Moksha Club inside Capitol Hotel Dubai. The atmosphere is vibrant, the music is fantastic, and the DJs keep the energy high all night. The staff are welcoming, professional, and provide excellent service. The club is well organized, with great lighting, a lively crowd, and a perfect party vibe. If you're looking for a fun night out with friends, I highly recommend visiting Moksha at Capitol Hotel. One of the best nightlife experiences in Dubai. I'll definitely be back!
I had an amazing stay at Capitol Hotel. This is honestly one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. The staff are extremely kind, respectful, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. From the moment you enter, you truly feel welcomed and comfortable. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was warm, and everything was handled professionally. A special thank you to Ms. Love for her kindness and wonderful hospitality, and also to Ms. Javerlene, one of the best receptionists I have met. She was very friendly, helpful, welcoming, and made the experience even better with her positive attitude and professionalism. ⚠️ Think twice before booking this hotel🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑 My stay at Capital Hotel in Dubai was very disappointing, and in my experience, it does not meet the expectations of a 4-star property. This is absolutely a disgusting place and I’m not sure how they are ranked as 4 star. The building is old and clearly outdated. Both rooms and public areas appeared poorly maintained and not properly cleaned, with worn furniture, visible stains, and an overall feeling of neglect. The condition of the hotel did not match what is advertised online. Please see pictures I have taken during my stay, everything is dirty, broken and not clean. My colleagues and I were stayed in non-smoking rooms where you can smell tobaccos even from the pillows and bed sheets. At night, the experience worsens significantly. Several nightclubs and cabarets operate within the hotel until around 4–5 AM. Loud music, strong bass, and vibrations travel through the building, making it extremely difficult to sleep. I realized number of prostitutes in the hotel were significantly higher than guests. In addition to the noise, there were frequent disturbances in the hallways during the night, including loud shouting, arguments, and doors slamming. There was constant movement in the elevators and corridors, creating a chaotic and uncomfortable atmosphere. The hotel environment appears to be primarily focused on nightlife and short-term stays, rather than on accommodating tourists or business travelers seeking rest and comfort. As a result, it felt unsuitable for families, couples, or solo travelers looking for a calm and secure place to stay. Final verdict: This hotel is not suitable for guests who value cleanliness, quiet, and a restful environment. I would not recommend this hotel for families, business trips, or women traveling alone. If you are visiting Dubai to enjoy the city and want a comfortable and peaceful stay, consider choosing another hotel.
