Avenue Hotel

We just celebrated a birthday at Avenue and had a wonderful time! The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the lovely atmosphere made the celebration even more special. Thank you to the team for a memorable experience. Highly recommended!

Good day to everyone, I would like to bring to the attention of the entire management of Avenue Hotel the unpleasant and disappointing treatment we experienced from one of your staff members. I would like to explain what happened. On September 30, 2026, I made an online booking and checked in at your hotel at around 8:30 PM. At that time, there was a female Indian staff member at the reception desk, all is well that time with her. Before 9:00 PM, I went out and returned to the hotel at around 12:05 AM. When I arrived, I noticed that a male Arab staff member (I am not sure if he was Egyptian) was already at the reception desk. I went directly to my room. At around 12:40 AM, my partner arrived and followed me to the room. Before going upstairs, he presented his ID at the reception desk. However, he was told that he needed to pay an additional 100 because he was allegedly the third person staying with me, and the receptionist claimed that I already had another person with me in the room. I immediately went downstairs to clarify the situation. We explained to the receptionist that I did not have anyone else with me in the room. However, he insisted that there was another person with me and told us that we could not return to our room unless we paid the additional 100. We waited for around 30 minutes, but he did not take any action or provide any proper explanation regarding what had happened. I eventually had to ask another one of your staff members to check the CCTV footage to verify who had entered my room and what had actually happened. We waited for another 30 minutes. Eventually, someone called the receptionist and clarified that there was no other person with me in the room. After that, he simply returned my partner's ID and told us, "You can go upstairs now. It's clear." What was even more disappointing was that he did not even apologize. Before the matter was cleared, he had repeatedly insisted that there was another person with me and even mentioned the name of someone he claimed was staying in my room. I felt extremely embarrassed in front of my partner because of what happened. This was my first time experiencing such unacceptable and disrespectful treatment from a hotel receptionist, and it was extremely upsetting and frustrating. I sincerely hope that the management will investigate this incident properly and take appropriate action toward the staff member involved so that this kind of treatment will not happen to other guests in the future. Thank you, and I hope to receive a proper explanation and response regarding this incident.

I had a very pleasant experience at Avenue Hotel, especially during breakfast. The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Every request I made was attended to promptly, with no delays. The staff were exceptional—friendly, professional, and always ready to assist. I would especially like to thank Ms. Michelle V. David for her warm hospitality, kindness, and outstanding customer service. She made me feel welcome and contributed to making my stay truly enjoyable.
