Radisson Blu Hotel Cottbus

Amazing location, right in front of the central station. The personnel were very friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable.

Rather tired rooms from the late 1980s. No power sockets near the bed. Air con defective. And... Urghhh... a shower curtain. Disappointing for the high price paid. Breakfast and staff excellent though.

The worst hotel experience for years. We were a group of 35 but were treated like peasants not guests! We were running late but had dinner booked for our group. The restaurant decided to close early and not to accommodate us! In contrast a local restaurant though decided to ask the chef to stay on longer so our team would be fed. They got huge tips!!! At breakfast the milk machine which had obviously been cleaned and not put back together properly spoilt milk all over me. Instead of apologising the waitress thought it was okay to abuse guests in German a language we don’t understand! The attitude in the hotel seemed to be the guests are here to serve the staff. As someone who spends 20% of his life in hotels this complete lack of care and disrespect will mean I will never book a raddison hotel again. They are a complete disgrace to the group and to Germany!

Rooms looked like the decorator was stuck in the 80's. Personally not a fan of double beds being to singles stuck together. Breakfast buffet was decent. Hotel bar was small, but quaint, with a pub-like quality to it. Very polite and capable bartender.
