Holiday Inn Cottbus By Ihg

Once it's finished, it will certainly be a very nice hotel. However, it's very noisy. You can hear every step from upstairs and the doors slamming. The staff, though, were incredibly friendly!

They are still under construction, so some minor things here and there should be expected, but nothing that ruined my experience. All in all, very good.

Once the final construction work is completed, this will undoubtedly be the best accommodation in Cottbus again. Located right in the city center, next to the Stadthalle (city hall). The new rooms are beautifully and luxuriously furnished, and those on the upper floors offer fantastic views of the city. Underground parking is located directly beneath the hotel. The staff are all exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Since the hotel is currently undergoing renovations, not all rooms are fully furnished; some items are still missing. During our visit, cables and sockets were hanging from the walls and ceiling in the breakfast area. The staff is very friendly and always helpful. The breakfast buffet also needs improvement. Under these circumstances, we felt the price of €160 for one night including breakfast was unreasonable. Unfortunately, the room also lacked proper ventilation. If the renovations are ever completed and we need to stay overnight in Cottbus again, it might be an option, but unfortunately, it's not currently suitable.
