We, a family (two children, ages 11 and 8), spent three days in Schmilka and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the suite. It was clean, beautifully furnished, and the service was very friendly and uncomplicated. Breakfast and dinner were excellent, modern, and featured regional products. Thank you for your hospitality and the wonderful stay in Saxon Switzerland!

We weren't staying at the hotel or our accommodation; we just happened to be passing by. It was the town's 125th anniversary celebration that day, which is why I took these pictures. All in all, it's a very nice place that's well worth a visit. The beer garden nestled among the buildings is definitely worth checking out. You should try the baked goods, and if you're interested, you can also sample the offerings at the on-site brewery.
