We absolutely loved our tour. It was probably the best tour guide we have had on our travels. Des was very knowledgeable and funny. We asked for the road less travelled and he more than delivered with breathtaking views, interesting history, and some great pub stops to boot. If you’re looking to book a tour, use them, you will not regret it. Thanks Des!!!

Another day in Dingle, another Slea Head tour. Dora our guide was excellent, knowledgeable and funny! Thanks so much for making our vacation memorable!
From the start Rory was very on top of making sure we understood the plan for the day. Colm was an excellent tour guide and did a great job at making sure we saw a lot but also that we had ample time at each location along the way for photos and exploration. He was polite, informative, funny and a great driver on those narrow Dingle roads. 10/10. One of the great experiences in my lifetime and my family and friends’ too.
We had the best day with Rory!! We felt like he was one our group and we laughed hysterically!! Highly recommend this tour group, especially Rory🙌🏻 We learned so much as Americans here for the first time!! 10/10
It was a great day tour with Colm as our guide and driver. The weather was foggy and rainy, so we couldn’t see much of the views. I’m not sure what I wouldn’t have done in town on such a rainy day. This was still a good option inspite of the weather!
Incredible day with Rory for our private Ring of Kerry tour! Our group of 7 had a wonderful time, very comfortable van, with an extremely knowledgeable tour guide. He tailored our tour to our interests, the Skellig Chocolate factory was awesome! Highly recommend this company and would book directly through their website!
Colm was a fantastic guide. This was our second tour with the company. Previously Rory guided us around Slea Head. Both tours were outstanding. They personalized the tour based on pur preferences which was appreciated.
We could not have been more pleased with our tour and our guide, Colm. He made it interesting and fun, with unexpected stops that were beyond our expectations. Thank you, Colm!!
Our private full-day Ring of Kerry tour was one of the highlights of our trip, thanks to our driver, Colm. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the area’s history, culture, and hidden gems, and shared everything in a way that was both engaging and easy to follow. His use of a microphone made it easy for all to hear including those towards the back of the vehicle and my father who has hearing loss. His sense of humor made the day even more enjoyable, and he kept the atmosphere relaxed and fun throughout. We never felt rushed and got to experience the best of the Ring of Kerry at our own pace—highly recommend!
Wonderful tour with time to take in the sights. Highly recommended and our driver had so much to share with a good pace for the day!
Amazing tour, spectacular views. Rory was timely and friendly. Enjoyed being introduced to a couple new bands we I’ll enjoy listening to back home to remind us of this trip we think offered the best views we saw in Ireland.
Colm took our group on some less known roads and we got some amazing views beyond the normal Ring of Kerry route.
This is a really great way to see the ring of Kerry and or Skellig or the Dingle peninsula. Leave the driving to someone else who can get you to the right places that the buses cannot go! Rory knows this country and is so easy to be with on the road and took great care of us, we had breaks to make the riding easier and get the kids especially moving a bit. And we had three tall men who fit easily into the vehicle.
Wow- Just one of the best and informative tours ever. Tony knew the answer to EVERYTHING we asked him. And he was very pleasant to drive private with. We will recommend the tour to everyone.
We had four people in our tour for the perfect day! The scenery and places we visited were stunning. Callum was a wonderful tour guide and was funny, informative, and knowledgeable. Can’t say enough and would recommend highly!
Do not miss this tour. The Kerry Cliffs are spectacular! We did this tour as a transfer to Killarney from Dingle. This was our second tour with Karen and she did not disappoint. It was a lovely worry free day.
My journey around the Ring of Kerry with my driver, Karen, delivered breathtaking views and sites. Karen was knowledgeable on all counts and provided timely and insightful comments throughout. She was entirely accommodating and an intelligent and entertaining companion. This should not be missed.
This was our first time to Ireland and we wanted to maximize the time we had in Dingle. We decided to take a tour more locally, instead of the extended Ring of Kerry & Skellig Ring that was advertised. This turned out to be a highlight of our 8 days in Ireland. Karen picked us up from the hotel. She was friendly, attentive to what we wanted to see, and extremely knowledgeable about the history of Ireland, and how historical events shaped the culture. The views were stunning and we never would have found these places if we had driven ourselves around the Dingle Peninsula. We loved this tour!
Des was our tour guide for our private Ring of Kerry tour. Des was excellent, and we really loved our tour. It was very informative and extremely scenic. We loved this tour and would highly recommend it to others.
Cullum was our driver. He was fantastic. We saw some of Irelands coast that was spectacular. Cullum was very knowledgeale and eager to pass that info onto us. It was well worth the expense and we highly recommend the experience.
We had such a great day thanks to our tour guide Colm! We did the Skellig Ring and had some custom stop requests. Colm took us to some amazing off the beaten path spots where we were not competing with larger tour buses.
Karen was great, well done. She was prompt and very informative. She answered many questions about the Irish lifestyle, past and present.
Colm was knowledgeable and entertaining. Had I driven on the narrow roads, I would have missed the great sights. Bad weather limited the views but we had a great time anyway including a terrific lunch. Highly recommend the guide. Lots of winding roads.
The Ring of Kerry private tour was fantastic. My wife and I plus our 3 adult children really had a blast. My wife had a list of sites that she wanted to see and the guide stated that some of these we could do on our own and that he would take us to the more difficult to drive to and through. Be aware that Ireland local roads are stated to be 2 way, but in the view of a U.S. driver, they are 1 way roads, so it's very nice and good to have a local take you to the hard to get to locations.
Friends and I were most fortunate to have Rory Brosnan as our guide for four days of touring around the Dingle Peninsula in May 2024. Although I only chose one of the tours listed, Rory planned a different itinerary for each day, and we had a fabulous time with him. Rory has a great love for his home, and his humour, enthusiasm and stories about this part of heaven were remarkable. I have countless memories of our time in Dingle and would recommend him highly if you’re planning a trip to the Peninsula!
This was a fantastic tour of Skellig Ring and several other stops along the Ring of Kerry. Our tour guide, Colm, was wonderful. So knowledgeable and friendly. We felt right at home. What an amazing way to spend a day! Would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to enjoy the sights the Ring of Kerry has to offer.
We had a great day touring the Ring of Kerry and the Skellig Ring with Colm. The drive is packed with so many beautiful views and interesting historic sites, and Colm's guidance and insights made for a much better experience than if we'd done a self-guided tour. We packed in a lot, and I was really glad we got to view so much of this beautiful region.
This company really understands the needs and desires of travelers! Three of us had contracted with them to take us on tours for 8 days. I cannot make any suggestions to have made our experience better, and I am usually pretty critical. When we asked for suggestions which related to activities which we thought we would enjoy, our driver always came up with alternatives, and made them happen. He knew personally several artisans and businesses which our travel agent did not, and took us to experiences which were delightful and personal. I cannot recommend Dingle Sleahead Tours strongly enough! The owner, Rory, runs an excellent operation.
Unbelievable tour! The pictures on the site don’t do it justice. We were blessed with good weather and the sights were breathtaking. Not to be undone, Collum was first rate in the driving and knowledgeable in local sights and local history. He was wonderful to have as our guide! Spending the day with him resulted in a fast friendship and we hated to say goodbye! This is a 10 star trip!
We enjoyed the Chocolate Factory. But this was not the tour for us. There was a lot of ground to cover in too short a period of time and we did not enjoy being in the van for that long. The next time we will pick a tour with a shorter distance.
We had a great time! He was very knowledgeable of the area and history. There’s nothing better than being on a tour with a local.
The private/individual tours of the Ring of Kerry (day one) and the Cliff of Moher (day two) with Dingle Slea Head Tours and the driver/guide Rory Brosnan were outstanding, with an opportunity to learn, visit, and enjoy many small towns, sightseeing at its best. I had originally scheduled the trip to the Dingle peninsula, but circumstances out of everyone's control, forced the tour guide to switch to the Ring of Kerry, instead. It was worthy all the way, and I wholeheartedly recommend the tour and Mr. Brosnan.
We really enjoyed Rory as our guide for the Kerry & Skellig Ring tour. He asked us what we were interested to see and then offered suggestions to give us a customized route. Amazing views and photo stops, along with engaging conversation. One of best days in Ireland! Highly recommend.
We had a great day with Rory for the Kerry & Skellig Ring tour. The tour was extremely informative and we had lots of great stops with amazing views and photo opportunities! It was by far one of our best vacation days and an amazing memory of our trip!
Our guide was Rory and we have had the best time. He has a vast knowledge of the area and made sure we did not miss anything. The views were breathtaking and unforgettable. We enjoyed the beauty of the Ring of Kerry and Skellig Ring and each stop was a new wonder. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone who wants to get the taste of this area. We will definitely be coming back! Melisa and Adam
Colm gave us a customized four day tour of the Ring of Kerry and Skellig Ring. Three examples: we mentioned we were interested in Irish History, and he took us to see important historical sites. We told him we wanted to see even more ancient sites, and he brought us to four ring forts, he went brought us through miserable drizzle to see ancient carvings. We said we enjoyed beautiful landscapes and he took us through a special access gate to see the Cliffs of Moor. While nobody can take credit for the weather, when we weren't able to go on the Skellig Michael boat as scheduled (high winds) he NOT ONLY found us great things to do, BUT ALSO, he called the boat operator and worked every angle to help us get to the island the next day. It was a huge highlight. Plus, we didn't have to worry about driving, about finding places to eat, he took care of us like we were family.
Despite some foul weather, we enjoyed our day trip with Colin very much. Colin picked us up at our hotel and made up for the bad weather by showing us some out of the way places and engaging us in conversation and answering all of our questions about Ireland. In addition he gave us many valuable tips on the remainder of our stay in Ireland. Rory was helpful and flexible in setting up our trip.
We were 4 Americans, 1st time in the Dingle area...and enjoyed a 2-day private tour of the Ring of Kerry & the Skellig Peninsula with Rory as our driver. One day perfect weather - one day a bit if rain...but not a problem. In addition to the amazing overview & detail of the area, Rory was especially considerate of each passenger's specific interests. When there was limited time (there was a LOT to see & do), we took a vote to decide where to focus our efforts. Again, everyone in our group was extremely pleased with Rory's tour and our expectations were clearly exceeded!
Paudie was our driver and he was absolutely wonderful!! First time for my Aunt, Uncle and I traveling the Ring of Kerry. Paudie was very knowledgeable and stopped whenever we wanted to take a picture! We enjoyed lunch, the Skellig Chocolate Factory and all the incredible sites! The van was clean, and the entire experience was very professional. Paudie picked us up at our Bnb in Kerry and dropped us off at our bnb in Dingle. It was my families favorite tour from the entire trip- I highly recommend it!
Our tour guide, Paudie, was wonderful! We were a family of five including three teenagers. He picked us up at our hotel right on time and made sure that we had a great day. Our stops included Ladies View (breathtaking vista), Skellig Chocolate Factory (you can watch the process and plenty of tastings!). We had a great lunch at a restaurant Paudie recommended. We saw areas where scenes from Star Wars were shot, had plenty of opportunities to take pictures and wonder around. Paudie was really funny and informative and took us to places that we surely would have missed on our own. We HIGHLY recommend this tour!
Our family of 5 enjoyed two exceptional tours with Paudie. We were home based in Dingle and had a four hour tour of the Dingle peninsula as well as a full day tour of the Ring of Kerry. We enjoyed the backroads of the area and limited views of massive tour buses. Paudie is a native to the area and makes you feel like family visiting rather than a tourist. This is an extremely professional operation and Rory helped coordinate our best experiences of our trip of a lifetime. Many thanks! Con, Russ, Amanda, Ray and Jody
Our (myself and a few family members) recent visit to Ireland was one of the best gifts I have ever given myself. I felt a fresh connection to my ancestors and rejuvenated my inner spirit far beyond my expectations. Our tour guide for this 4 day private tour was Colm Bambury, a true historian and a man passionate about his beloved Ireland. I should have educated myself before the tour; I did not, but was not only enriched by the beauty of this land, but well informed of the history of these hope filled people and the ancient ruins and their meaning/s in Ireland's history.I felt the mournful longing of an early suffering people and saw the joy they have held close in their hears for many years hence. Colm is very personable and gets to know a little about each visitor and then treats you to a delight he seems to know you will enjoy. I found his knowledge and love of the land far beyond my expectations and very gratifying. Colm also saw to it that our group was well fed at the best for the day and made reservations for us. I would repeat this tour and do another any time with Colm as he greatly stirred my desire to know more of the land and people who were my beginning. I cannot describe in words the richness of this experience and the personal lasting joy it left in my heart. Mary Kearney Michalski
Excellent tour and commentary. We definitely recommend doing this since it took all the stress of driving out with the benefits of learning about the history
