The demo was fascinating, and like everyone has been in this beautiful country, everyone was so nice and welcoming. One thing tho - TripAdvisor has the wrong location. It isn't st the shop in town, it's at the workshop just outside of town. Dingle is small, it's only about a 5 minute drive, but if you already had to find a parking place it's annoying.

Was one of the memorable experiences on our tour of Ireland
It was amazing to watch the craftsmen in action. They didn’t “cut” a demo glass for us - it was an actual production piece for an order. The speed & precision was fascinating and helped me understand the value in the Dingle crystal.
My husband and I went to Dingle Crystals in mid October 2026. We had a great crystal cutting demo from the owner and his son-in-law and learned about the various designs and processes for cutting and shaping the crystal, “coloring” it, and on. It was a wonderful experience and one that we’d recommend to others!
Got to meet the master. Never knew how it was done. Great experience. Would recommend to everyone when in Dingle. Cheers
Great experience. Andy—son’s owner gave us a tour. Small family business. True craftsman at work. Beautiful product and will ship to States.
★★★★★ A Truly Special Dingle Experience One of the highlights of our time in Dingle was visiting Dingle Crystal. We had the opportunity to meet Sean Daly and watch him create a new piece of crystal during the factory tour. Seeing the process firsthand was fascinating. The skill, patience, and craftsmanship involved in creating each piece is remarkable, and watching Sean work gave us an entirely new appreciation for what goes into every piece of Dingle Crystal. Sean was incredibly welcoming and took the time to talk with us while he worked. It felt less like a typical tourist stop and more like being invited into the workshop of a true Irish craftsman. That personal interaction made the experience even more memorable. There are really two parts to the Dingle Crystal experience. The factory tour gives you the chance to see how the crystal is actually created and cut by hand, while the Dingle Crystal shop in the center of Dingle, located right next to Dick Mack’s, is a wonderful place to see the finished pieces and choose something special to take home. After watching Sean create a piece at the factory, visiting the shop had even more meaning because we understood the work and artistry behind everything on display. For anyone visiting Dingle, I would highly recommend doing both. Visit the factory, meet Sean, watch the craftsmanship firsthand, and then stop into the shop beside Dick Mack’s. This was one of those authentic Irish experiences that made our trip so special and one we will definitely remember. Five stars — a must-do when visiting Dingle.
Wonderful experience and so interesting. Family run business. this was so informative. We were right there watching him cut the glass amazing! Thank you for a wonderful memory of my trip to Ireland!
Fantastic experience! Definitely worthwhile- very intimate and personable, it's a family run business and everyone involved with the tour was passionate and informative. Very interesting to learn about crystal, and the pieces they make are beautiful- great meaningful souvenirs or gifts.
The demo is at their production facility outside town NOT at the store on Green street. Sean is a national treasure
We had a visit to the factory where Sean and his band of merry men practice their artistry. Range of age was 73 years old down to 2 year old. The show room was filled with gorgeous stuff and you can place your order and have it shipped securely back to the USA for a flat rate. No matter how many pieces price for shipping is the same. We bought a bunch of crystal and the color stuff in particular is beautiful. Everyone enjoyed the demo and the staff was very friendly. They even have a store in downtown Dingle as well. Factory is a little off the beaten path but the EIR code brought us right to the front door. Lovely family thing to do.
From the moment we walked in we were greeted with open arms. So friendly. At the moment, I can’t remember her name. She explained about all the patterns and also the colored crystal. She then turned us over to Sean Daly, the master craftsman. He has been cutting crystal for 50 years and it shows in all his work. He demonstrated on how he cuts a whiskey glass. It is truly artistry. Such an informative demonstration. He was more then happy to having his picture taken with us. And, of course, we couldn’t leave without buying his beautiful hand cut crystal whiskey glasses.
This was a fascinating demonstration. We really enjoyed our visit to the factory. It was a great stop! There are not very many people that have crystal cutting talents! We bought some beautiful pieces !
We called in adhoc to have a look around and we're fortunate to see the crystal cutting demonstration with Sean Daly, the owner. Extremely friendly and happy to chat about his business, his career before this at Waterford crystal clearly loves what he does and it shows. It was really enjoyable and well worth venturing out of town. Bonus bought 2 large glasses - Solus design.
Very interesting and informative. A pleasure to watch such talented people
Very a combating, friendly! Learned a lot about the art and was very interesting. Worthwhile and highly recommend!
We went on a 10 day tour with Mark Doherty of Connect the Dots, and thoroughly enjoyed the crystal cutting demonstration at Dingle Crystal. The craftmanship and pride in their product combined with being a family business was an inspiration. They recently developed a new design called The Trinity, you HAVE to see it!
Bella and Jonathan were very informative. The demo stration was excellent. The glass carving shop is a family business. They are very proud of their work and they should be .
I highly recommend going to Dingle Crystal for a crystal cutting demonstration. Sean took us around the workshop showing us the different crystal pieces and explained the different patterns of cutting. It was cool learning that he has made bowls for Presidents and the Pope and even presented one to President Biden at the White House. The demonstration was so informative and really interesting to watch the craftsman cut the crystal. We learned about the steps it takes to become a craftsman and the process to finally be certified. The precision, skill, and gentle touch they must have is impressive.
Had a wonderful experience learning about the crystal cutting process. The people were friendly and very informative. I ended up purchasing a few things to have shipped back home to the States. Would definitely recommend a stop at the demonstration and at their store in downtown Dingle!!
If you want an authentic Irish experience, consider going to a crystal cutting demonstration at Dingle Crystal. Sean Daly is the master craftsman, and he has a team of talented that show you the legendary skill. Plus, you can buy some too!
While Waterford crystal gets all of the attention, we found incredible craftmanship and an incredible learning experience at the Dingle Crystal Workshop & Visitor Centre. We learned about the history and saw the craftmanship before our very eyes with the founder of this Dingle treasure. There is a beautiful showroom with examples of this fine crystal for sale as well as the Green Street store. Tours are available on Monday through Friday to witness the exquisite art of crystal cutting.
Very informative Adam was a great host! We learned about the history of the company, his family involvement, the crystal industry and more.
It was such an honor for Dingle Crystal to demonstrate the cutting process. I highly recommend supporting this family owned business. The crystal pieces are stunning! I came home with to much, but hope to add to my collection!
We were looking for rainy day activities in or around Dingle, so this wasn't a planned stop on our itinerary. I'm usually not happy about rain, but in this case, I was. We would have missed this opportunity otherwise. It was a fascinating and impressive demonstration of crystal cutting and the staff could not have been nicer. Well worth it!!
Sean, Adam and the team are fantastic. Sean spent time with us explaining the process and the history of the designs as well as the importance of quality that you can no longer get at more well known Crystal companies. If you are in Dingle it is well worth the stop to see them.
My husband and I visited the Dingle Crystal factory in late Sept 2025. Adam, a family member, gave us a portion of the tour, followed by Michael who is a 2nd year apprentice with the company. Our tour was very informative, casual and personal. It was a delight to learn of their history in an effort to continue their family's business vs opting to have their crystal merchandise made elsewhere, outside of Ireland. You definitely feel that they are including you in that family by sharing their craft and beautiful designs. In this day and age where many things are made by machines or by people who do not have a personal commitment to excellence, it's refreshing to see their are still business who value tradition. Enjoy!!
Dingle Crystal is family owned and they are so nice. The factory was started by the dad, an ex-Waterford person. We had a wonderful 1/2 hour tour with the son-in-law. It was interesting and informative. We were glad we had a chance to see it. So, why the 3 stars? The factory is a 1/2 hour walk from the rotary. Although interesting, it is not a must see. As I mentioned, it is a small factory. We had lots of time so we were able to visit. FYI: I think Dingle Center is the only place to get Dingle Crystal.
Great to see a plain glass get converted into such a beautiful piece. Friendly staff and willing to share details of their experiences.
Lovely presentation! Short but sweet/to the point. Very interesting. Would go again for sure. Did go to the address listed that was in town, but it’s actually the factory address outside of town! We showed up a bit later because of this and they still gave the presentation which was appreciated. Thank you.
Very friendly staff and amazing craftsmanship in what they do. It just seems to be just a little out of the price range for me.
We bought a crystal decanter and glasses the day prior. To see the artistry and craftsmanship was nothing short of amazing!!
We enjoyed a very interesting demonstration of glass cutting and a question and answer session. We met the owner who designed the crystal bowl which was used to present shamrock to President Biden.
The crystal is a work of art and Sean was an amazing host. So glad we took the time to learn about the process. The individual care that goes into cutting each piece makes the end product even more lovely.
The crystal cutting demonstration was awesome! The level of skill displayed and his mastery of the art were definitely worth the cost of admission. We took a separate visit to their store front, downtown, and had a great experience there as well. We couldn’t help but buy a few pieces to have shipped home!
This was so,so interesting. The young man(Jonathan??) was an absolute master at cutting. He took a plain( hand blown) crystal glass and completed the most intricate cutting of the harp and fuschia design onto the crystal. Very informative all the way and his fingers came damn close to the cutting tool!! We were both in awe. Everything is hand made from start to finish. So everything you buy is unique in a small way. Lovely then to return to the shop and talk to one of Sean’s daughters, hear a little about the start of the business and the involvement of the family ( small booklet also talks about this) and see a lot of the finished works. You could buy the crystal from there or in the shop in town. We went into the town shop( met another lovely daughter) and completed our purchases. They also pack and send overseas if needed. Beautiful pieces of work.
Remarkable skill and incredibly beautiful crystal. Hand-blown blanks are cut by hand. A must-see in Dingle! Bring home a fitting memory made by local craftsmen.
Thank you, we had a great time! It’s a fun experience to see a family business still hand making crystal. Sean and sons are true craftsman and it is a wonderful family affair. They are all personable and fun! Highly recommend!
Wow, what an amazing experience we had here. Dingle Crystal is worth your time and money. We enjoyed an intimate factory tour and met the Dingle Crystal family, including their two shop dogs, Harley and Sam. The crystal they produce is 100% handmade and therefore unique for every piece. If in the area, stop here and you will have the opportunity to purchase an amazing and one of a kind Irish souvenir.
So happy with my new glasses, fabulous experience watching them being hand cut! Four different styles so fun conversations ahead! Well packaged. Safely delivered. 10 out of 10
Our tour Connect the Dots scheduled a tour and demonstration of crystal cutting. It was fascinating and Sean, the Master, signed the piece I purchased! Wonderful stop !
We visited Dingle Crystal Factory as part of a tour. It was one of the favorite stops on our tour. The staff is very friendly. The tour was full of interesting information. The highlight was a demonstration of actual cutting work on a glass. Great tour!!!!
Beautiful craftsmanship. We enjoyed watching them hand cut the crystal pieces and explain the process. Everything was spectacular!
Very interesting tour and beautiful crystal glassware. Nice family run business with master crystal cutters. Fun to watch the crystal cutter.
We enjoyed the Dingle crystal demonstration and were so glad to meet members of the family who were so friendly and have Great customer service. I purchased a 25th Anniversary bowl and it was signed and shipped and arrived as expected. ❤️
This is a very interesting look into how the engraving of crystal is done. This is a small factory that allows you to be very close to the actual work and allows everyone to ask questions and talk to the craftsman.
Definitely worth a visit if you are in Dingle; the crystal cutting demonstration was fascinating and gives you a much clearer impression of what goes into each and every piece. The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly and the pieces available for purchase are beautiful.
