AC total crap so I could not sleep. Room was 24.5C on arrival, they put "AC" to 16C and full fan, 3h later it was 23.5C. I bring my own calibrated thermometer. Called reception but useless. This is not an AC but one of those crappy things some hotels have where a small amount of cold air comes out and cant be controlled. Also curtain does not block sunlight, and shower broke in 2. Recommend Urban Rose.

The experience from checking in, food, the ambience and the entertainment area was wow! I can recommend anyone who is visiting Dar to give this a try.
The location was a big highlight, it’s right in the center of town, making it easy to walk around and explore, with plenty of great restaurants nearby.
The staff were warm, welcoming, and overall very service-oriented. Our room was clean and had a cozy touch for our anniversary, which we really appreciated. Breakfast was decent, though nothing particularly standout.
Unfortunately, our experience was briefly disrupted when we discovered tiny roaches in our room. The management were responsive and relocated us to a roach free floor.
Room service staff were helpful, though communication around amenities could have been clearer.
Overall, despite the hiccup, the hotel maintained a warm and friendly atmosphere.
The Staff are very welcoming, they have good breakfast with many options.
I was in the 9 flow room no. 903 had not heard any noises from outside. But rooms smell a bit from mold (uvundo). They should at least let Dry air circulation to prevent rooms to smell, because autside air is very humid in Dar ES Salaam.
