Harbour View Suites

Really a very nice place to stay! It has nice and well equipped studio’s with a lot of light and a good functional AC. It’s clean and the breakfast has a good choice and a good view at the harbour. The location is right in de centre of Dar and close to the railway station and things to visit.

Rooms are spacious cleaned DAILY , the staff goes above and beyond to make you comfortable , location is great as there is the ferry 2 mins walk , the food is amazing in the hotel and the surrounding area . This is a perfect hotel and location for everything . The people outside and around the hotel are very nice. The GM and manager of the hotel always make sure guests feel at home . This is what you call “ home away from home “ we have stayed In many hotels in Tanzania and Zanzibar we feel the most welcome here . This is how a hotel is supposed to operate they make every guest feel special .

Without a doubt the best hotel in Dar. The staff are welcoming, friendly, always with a smile and will do their best to provide so many additional requests. After staying at other hotels in Dar I will never stay anywhere else. Outstanding accomodation with magnificent views

I think 4 stars might be stretching it a bit. Maintenance is subpar. Hotel is labyrinthine with multiple elevators that only access certain floors. Took a while to figure out which elevator to use to get to reception, and which to use to get to the restaurant. Bright spot was the kitchen and Chef Raju. Excellent Goan fish curry, and mutton biriyani. Excellent idlis for breakfast. Restaurant prices were really low, we ended up eating several meals at restaurant, thanks to Chef Raju. Location of hotel is excellent, walk to Zanzibar ferry. I had a hotspot that gave me internet so I could use that or order rides off Bolt (Local Uber type app). Pretty much used Bajajis (tuktuks) for all my rides. On average 2/3rds price of taxis and your really get to see Dar Es Salaam.
