Day 1

To begin your exploration in Sri Lanka and to start day 1 proceedings, we'll be visiting Pidurangala Rock. While the massive ancient rock of Sigiriya is steeped in history and is the main draw for tourists to the area of Dambulla, hiking to Pidurangala Rock to view the plains at sunset is a magical experience with a much more natural feel. The place was first used as a Buddhist monastery worshipped by King Kasyapa with many temples dating back to the third century BC, and now it offers a great adventure for all travelers. Located adjacent to Sigiriya Rock with the nearly same height, Pidurangala affords the best views of not only the valleys but also the famous historic fortress. Entrance/Attraction ticket for Pidurangala Rock is 3 USD per person.
Day 2
2
To kick off day two's proceedings, you'll be visiting an UNESCO World Heritage site - Sigiriya rock fortress. This fortified garden city of Sigiriya rock fortress is an exceptional master piece of ancient urban planning / landscape & architecture / construction technology /exceptional hydraulic engineering & management / ancient fine art with unique harmony between nature and human imagination and all these living examples proved that it was a Well Planned City & Palace in 5th Century AD. The Sigiriya rocky plain, made of magma from an extinct volcano, is 200 meters higher than the surrounding forest. The exhibition will surprise you with its unique harmony in nature and human imagination. Entrance/Attraction to Sigiriya rock fortress is 30 USD per person.
Let's get some traditional Sri Lankan Village experience!!! A visit to the hamlet of Hiriwadunna in Sri Lanka showcases the laid-back rhythms of small village life. Engage in many village activities that form everyday life; such as an oxen cart ride, a catamaran ride, and a walk through the fields. Learn to cook traditional Sri Lankan food. You will finish off with an exceptionally delicious buffet lunch, served in classic Sri Lankan style. This is your truly Sri Lankan holiday experience . Hiriwadunna village experience tour is 30 USD per person including traditional delicious buffet lunch and all other activities mentioned above.
After refreshing at Hiriwadunna Village, next up you'll be heading to Dambulla Royal Cave Temple - A sacred pilgrimage site for 22 centuries, this cave monastery, with its five sanctuaries, is the largest, best-preserved cave-temple complex in Sri Lanka. Caves, be it limestone or rock overhangs, are the most stable spaces on Earth. They preserve a history that counts time in centuries, not decades. The Dambulla Temples are well preserved and still functioning today after nearly two thousand years of continual use. The continuity of use makes it the best preserved antiquity you’ll ever visit. Entrance/Attraction ticket to Dambulla Royal Cave Temple is 5 USD per person.
We'll end day two's proceedings with some fresh vegetables and fruits! In Dambulla, it is 1 km from the Golden Temple, you will see the largest vegetables and fruits wholesale market in Sri Lanka. Every day, numerous colorful vegetables and fruits are offered on the market. The harvest from the all corners of Sri Lanka as well as surrounding fields and villages is brought in to the market for distribution to the rest of the country. Trucks loaded with pumpkins, varieties of bananas, mangoes, avocados, watermelons, apples, coconuts, beans, carrots, leeks, peppers and lots more are supplied. You are short of eyes to see all this. Here, you will get to see the many locals of the district engaged in selling several varieties of vegetables and fruits from their tiny stalls. Seeing them dealing with customers also gives you a perspective into their daily lives and traditions.
Day 3
3
You'll start your day three's proceedings by having a quick look at Nalanda Gedige - an ancient and mysterious edifice near Matale that has confounded researchers with its strange mix of Hindu and Buddhist architecture. Believed to be at least a thousand years old the structure; the structure was rediscovered in 1893 by the Archaeological Commissioner of Sri Lanka at the time, H. C. P. Bell. Nalanda Gedige can be see not far from Kandy city; and is an important archaeological site of Sri Lanka. It’s not to be missed both for its uniqueness and the mystery it holds. It would definitely help to read up on classical Hindu Temple architecture and Tantric Buddhist architecture, so as to understand the anomaly that is Nalanda Gedige.
One of the first things come to your mind with country Sri Lanka is Buddhism. But Sri Muthumariamman Hindu Temple is one of the great examples to prove Sri Lanka has been a multi cultural country through out all these years. Hindus say Sri Muthumariamman Temple to this famous Matale Hindu Temple. And also they believe Muthumariamman is the goddess for the rain. In the Tamil language, they say “Muthu” to pearls, “Mari” to rain, and “Amman” to the goddess. Furthermore, Hindu people worship this goddess for prosperity. Hinduism came to Sri Lanka from India. Most of the time they located on the lands of English cultivators. English cultivators brought the Tamils from India to cultivate their lands. Matale Hindu Temple was built in 1874. Previously the land was a paddy field. After that, the owner donated this land to build the temple in 1852. In 1983 an ethnic conflict in the area severely damaged the temple. Anyway, in the present, it is well built.
Time to see some traditional Sri Lankan dancing. The Kandy Lake Club Cultural Dance Show is a stimulating Sri Lankan Arts, Dance & Cultural Heritage Show that is a must see for any visitor who visits the historic city of Kandy. The Kandy Lake Club Dance started in 1982 with the view of having a cultural dance performance bringing together all Sri Lankan dance types to one platform. It has since become a tourist attraction for many people visiting the country and keen on a glimpse of its rich cultural heritage. Dance techniques unique to areas of the island are usually passed on from generation to generation. These Dances are performed at local ceremonies and rituals using drums and costumes that are unique to each area. Among the attractions are the Dances depicting the majestic walk of the elephant, colorful performance of the peacock and the mystical movements of the cobra.
To end day three's explorations, you'll be finally visiting the temple which houses the Sacred Tooth Relic of the Buddha is one of the holiest shrines in the entire Buddhist world!!! The temple complex is surrounded by a moat and it is bounded by white carvings of elephants. You could also see the four main Devalas (temples of Gods) facing the temple complex. Just as you enter the main court yard of the temple premises you come across statues of Weera Keppetipola Disawe, a hero of the Uva rebellion against the British rulers, Venerable and noted monks like the Hikkaduwe Sri Summangala thera. From this place you get a clear view of the Octagon and the golden canopy of the chamber that houses the tooth relic. It is advised for all tourists not to wear shorts or short skirts and to go barefoot into the temple as a sign of respect. Entrance/Attraction fee for Temple of Tooth Relic is 5 USD per person.
Day 4

The gardens display over 4 000 different species of plants, regarded amongst the most superior in Asia. The highlight is the spectacular Orchid collection and a mighty avenue of palm trees. In addition to a plethora of flowering plants, there is also an extensive collection of medicinal plants and spices which can be spotted on your meander across the gardens. Encompassing over 60 hectares of sublimely designed lawns, pavilions and plant houses, the extraordinary array of Sri Lankan, Asian and international flora is a fragrant, colorful view on the eye. Ambuluwawa is surrounded by many mountains including Piduruthalagala from the East, Bible Rock (Bathalegala) from the West, Sri Pada (Adam’s Peak) from the South and Knuckles Mountain Range from the North. Apart from these mountains many other mountains are also clearly visible from here and adds to the beauty of the area. These are the Hanthana Mountain Range, Hunnasigiri Mountain and mountain ranges associated with Algalla and Kadugannawa. There is a cool mountain breeze in the area due to this reason.
Time have a fresh cup of tea! As a land of tea, Nuwara Eliya has quite a large number of tea factories, tea houses and tea fields. Bluefield Tea Factory in Nuwara Eliya is one of the most popular tea factories in Sri Lanka. Like many other popular tea factories in Sri Lanka, Bluefield Tea Factory offers a guided tour through the factory for visitors. You are able to see how tea is dried, pressed and produced. You will get to see the various equipment and hear how they function. You will also visit a tea tasting chamber with different types of teas. The area is known for marvelous landscapes comprising of highlands, ridges, plains, streams and hilly mountains. The best of the attractions being the Ramboda falls. At an elevation of 358ft, Ramboda stands as the 11th highest falls in Sri Lanka. The cold winds are a constant and the steps of the rocks fall like cascades of ivory and paint a gorgeous picture against the backdrop of the sky. It involves a mild 2 km trek uphill, and anyone can scale it quickly. In terms of vivid landscapes and cosy climate, Ramboda falls checks all boxes that will keep tourists engaged and on their feet!
Day 5
5
After spending two days at Kandy, you'll be heading next Nuwara Eliya - also known as "Little England" due to its cool climate and colonial-era bungalows. To have a fresh start to the day, you'll visit Lake Gregory and its park area in the morning. Spanning 225 acres, Lake Gregory is the place to go for water activities in Nuwara Eliya, with the park serving as a great spot for picnics. You can find little ponies trotting along on the grass and boats that you could hire to go out on the lake and enjoy some serenity away from the noise. Jet Skis are also available for hire, and you could take part in some windsurfing here as well! If you need to get away from the sun, there are private little huts where you can relax, and if you’re hungry, there is no shortage of food stalls in the park, selling you a variety of snacks and local delicacies.
Located just 1 km from the Hakgala is the Seetha Amman kovil. This is the only Seetha Amman kovil in the world and is built according to South Indian architecture. Legend has it that Seetha was held captive and hidden in this spot by king Rama to protect her from the demon king Ravana according to the Epic Ramayana. The stream that runs close to this spot is believed to be the place where Sita bathed and the rock beside it is supposed to be the place where she sat praying. On the rock face across the stream are circular depressions believed to be the foot prints of Rawana’s elephant. There is one spot in the stream where the water cannot be drunk and legend has it that Sita cursed this spot and hence the bad taste. Water is very clear and the Temple is known in many other names such as Sita Amman kovil, Sita Amman Temple, Hanuman Kovil, Hanuman Temple and Sri Bhaktha Hanuma Kovil which all refer to the same place.
Train tours in the highlands of Sri Lanka, is rated as one of the best train tours in the world. And of course, the majestic Nine Arch Bridge is one of the many reasons for that. The glorious Nine Arch Bridge between Ella and Demodara station is one of the engineering marvels in the early 20th century. Commissioned under the British in the year 1921, the Nine Arch Bridge stands proudly, a testament to the engineering and architectural brilliance of the early 20th century. Ideally placed between the Ella and Demodara railway station, those choosing to walk along the bridge will be presented with scenes of rolling hills and dense jungle to delight in. The Nine Arch Bridge, also known as the ‘Bridge in the Sky’ was constructed by connecting two bog mountains when constructing the Badulla – Colombo railway. This bridge is 300 feet in length, 25 feet in width and 80-100 feet in height. It is one of the best examples of colonial-era railway construction in the country.
To wind up day five's adventures, you'll be hiking to Little Adam's Peak. Mini Adams peak is the closest and easiest hike in Ella. You will get to the entrance in about 15 min walk from Ella town. It is 1141 m in height and from the entrance it takes up to 30-45 min for the hike. Views from the summit are incredible. 360 degrees panoramic views with clouds rolling in, is a treat to watch for any traveler.
Day 6
6
Let's begin where we stopped at day five. Prepare to experience one of the worlds most scenic train trip.!!! Hali-ela to Ella or the other way around, is considered to be one of the most beautiful train trips in the world. Beautiful vistas of lush nature are visible. Tea plantations, dense forests, mountains, and valleys are just a few sights on your trip. The little waterfalls and tunnels along the route were not to be overlooked. Eat the spicy treats served by vendors at each stop as well. These treats have mouthwatering tastes. They are, however, a little spicier. Also, it is the most excellent method to experience the highlands of Sri Lanka. On the train, you can meet friendly folks. You can salute the youngsters who are running down the rails. The Kandy to Ella train voyage is a must-do adventure on this island. We will take care of the train/seat reservation on behalf of you. There is no additional cost for you for this journey. Just enjoy the ride!
Ravana Falls is entrenched in myth and folklore. It is believed that the demon King Ravana, from the epic Ramayan, hid Sita in the cave behind the waterfall after he kidnapped her and brought her back to Lanka. Only a 10 minute drive from the Ella main road, Ravana Falls is great to visit when in Ella. The drive to the waterfall is one of the most spectacular drives in the country since you will be driving on narrow roads with hairpin turns which will make you feel like you’re on a roller coaster! To get to the falls you must trek through a wonderfully thick jungle, from where you will see the waterfall quite early on.
Time to see some Leopards!!! Situated in Sri Lanka’s south-east hugging the panoramic Indian Ocean, Yala was designated a wildlife sanctuary in 1900 and was designated a national park in 1938. Ironically, the park was initially used as a hunting ground for the elite under British rule. Yala is home to 44 varieties of mammal and 215 bird species. Among its more famous residents are the world’s biggest concentration of leopards (the highest density of leopards in the world), majestic elephants, sloth bears, sambars, jackals, spotted dear, peacocks, and crocodiles. Our tour guides will arrange you the Safari Jeeps and the drivers for the journey. ***Please note the admission for Yala National Park and Safari Jeep cost are not covered in the tour package.
Day 7
7
On the final day of your adventure, you'll be travelling to Galle - Sothern Capital of Sri Lanka. We picked Coconut Tree Hill, Mirissa as first attraction to visit of your adventure's last day. Having made its way to almost every traveller’s Instagram profile when they visit Mirissa, the Coconut Tree Hill is a must-do when you’re in Mirissa. The Coconut Tree Hill is a private coconut estate with a nearby temple set on a high cliff overlooking the glistening waters of the Indian Ocean and the untouched stretch of golden beach. Located in proximity to the town, the hill can be accessed throughout the day or night; at no cost. A short, exciting trek from the base to the summit of the hill or ‘dome’ takes you about 10 minutes through the coconut estate before you’re left in awe at the most stunning view of Mirissa and its golden coast. The Coconut Tree Hill is definitely one to add to your bucket list in Sri Lanka as it’s the perfect place to watch a bold, island sunset from.
It's time for a swim!!! Weligama beach is a long sandy beach and it has a little depth. But it has amazing waves. Also, there are more than 100 surf schools with experienced surfers near weligama beach. Weligama beach is also good for less-confident swimmers. Even if you cant swim well, still you can learn to surf here. That is an another reason for people to select Weligama beach as the beginning place. The number of things to do in Weligama Beach, Sri Lanka will amaze new visitors and keep long-time travelers coming back for more. There is a stunning stretch of sunset beach where you can go swimming, chill out, meet locals and learn how to surf. There are lots of cafés, restaurants, and bars, together with a bustling list of activities. There are scooters, tuk tuk's, street food, shopping malls and so much more.
If you’re heading to the Sri Lankan south coast, then a visit to Galle Fort has to be on your bucket list. Originally built by the Portuguese in 1588 then extended on by the Dutch in the 17th-century, It’s now a thriving Sri Lankan community on the Indian Ocean. Over time, the fort has become a melting pot of architecture, cuisine, culture and heritage sites. This makes it an incredible place to explore that has SO much to see, eat and do The icon of Galle Fort is definitely its photogenic lighthouse that sits at the far end of Utrecht Bastion. It’s the oldest lighthouse in Sri Lanka that has its origin in 1650. This is when it was an old oil lamp that used to guide sailors onto the shore. Once you’re finished admiring lighthouse, you can easily walk along the Fort Ramparts next to the ocean.
You just reach the last attraction of your adventure. We saved the best for the last. Let take a boat ride at Bentota River!!! Just a few kilometers away from the city of Bentota lies the fabled Bentota river. Bentota river is high rich in bio diversity. Bank of the river is thickly filled fresh water mangroves. Bentota river boat safari is one of the popular outdoor activities. This boat ride will take approximately 1 hour and you will be able to explore large area of mangroves as you cruise along the bank of Bentota river. Also you can watch exotic animals that live in the area like crocodiles, water monitors, Lizard, various kind of Birds and more. Experience the ticklish fish therapy will be the highlight of the tour. Once the boat tour is finished you can discuss with our tour guide where we need to drop you off.

My tour guide Udara is a gem! He has the warmest smile when we met at the airport. He went above and beyond the entire trip to make sure I was comfortable and happy. Even when we had a small AC issue with the car, he sorted it out right away so we didn't miss a beat. He cheerfully woke up for 5:00 AM starts, drove tirelessly, and handled every request with ease. Surprising me with a birthday cake and gift was such a thoughtful gesture that I truly appreciate. Sri Lanka is stunning, but it was Udara’s warmth and incredible hospitality that made the trip truly special. He is fantastic, and I couldn't recommend him more highly. Thank you so much, Udara!

We booked our tour through Klook, and the experience exceeded all our expectations! A special thanks to our incredible driver (pictured), who made our journey across Sri Lanka truly smooth, memorable, and enjoyable. Punctual & Highly Professional: He was on time every single day, extremely polite, and drove with great care and safety across all routes. Spotless & Comfortable Vehicle: The car was clean, air-conditioned, and maintained in great condition throughout the entire trip. Complete & Well-Paced Itinerary: He made sure we covered every destination on our itinerary without ever making us feel rushed, always accommodating our pace with a warm smile. His hospitality and attentive service made our vacation truly special. If you are visiting Sri Lanka, I highly recommend this tour company and this fantastic driver. 10/10 service!
My girl friends and I had a great week in Sri Lanka with our guide Niluk! We managed to see quite a bit of the country, from tea plantations to temples, to safaris, to waterfalls and of course the scenic train ride. We were also offered fruits and snacks along the way from local carts which was a very nice gesture! Niluk always ensured our safety be it with his driving, or when we were crossing the roads. He is also very active in helping to take videos and photos which is a plus point for us! Hotels recommended were mostly comfortable and food choices for breakfast/dinner were great as well :)
It was our first time in Sri Lanka . It was an amazing experience all thanks to Thanu and Chanakya . They were there till the very end with us . The overall experience was great thanks to guides like them . They don’t deserve 10/10 rating , they deserve 11/10 rating . Amazing experience.
This tour was a great hassle-free way to experience the exotic beauty of Sri Lanka- especially for a first time visit. The company staff were always responsive to our queries and everything was organised smoothly from start to finish. Our guide Chanaka Lakshan was fantastic! He was a friendly and enthusiastic companion who showed genuine passion for the sights and experiences along the way. He also takes great photographs! More importantly, he was attentive and thoughtful, making sure everyone on the tour was well taken care of. It was also great that we were able to customise the itinerary according to our needs. Chanaka helped ensure everything ran seamlessly and we were able to sit back, relax and enjoy the trip. Many thanks to him for making our trip to Sri Lanka such a memorable and enjoyable experience!
I have just finished an incredible week long tailored tour of Sri Lanka with my guide and driver, Ramesh. Ramesh was a great communicator from the time leading up to my arrival at Colombo Airport and kept us on track throughout the whole tour. His kind nature and love for his country made the trip even better. I felt like I was travelling with a family member, not a tour guide. My tour took me from Colombo Airport, up to Sigiriya, then down through Kandy, Ella, Yala and Galle, before heading back to Colombo. I only had limited time and elected not to choose many of the optional tours, in favour of spending quality time at a few places along the way. It was a really good pace. Lion Rock involves a tough climb to the top, as does Ramboda Falls, so be prepared for both! I encourage everyone to have some small-denomination notes of Sri Lankan currency handy. I was regularly caught without some, but luckily I had Ramesh there to cover me until I could get the right notes and pay him back. 😀 Thanks, Ramesh! This is a tour I’ll remember forever! 🙌🏼
A magical 7-day round trip with Ceylon Paradise Travels is unfortunately coming to an end. I can fully recommend this trip. Organization and communication are perfect, and above all, the choice of hotels and activities was simply fantastic. What truly made the trip unique, however, was my guide and driver Hashi. From the very first minute, I felt in very safe hands and cannot thank him enough. Together, we shared so many wonderful experiences and interesting stories about Sri Lanka and life, and our spontaneous photo shoots will always remain in my memory and heart! Thank you Hashi - ගොඩක් ස්තූතියි
Wow! I can’t recommend more! It was phenomenal!!! I found the tour first from Klook and messaged the operator directly. The operator was very responsive and transparent which made the trip even more enjoyable. All of the hotels were clean and the food was excellent. My tour guide was with Manjula who made this trip one I won’t forget. He was so easy going and spoke good English. He was always on time and adjusted my schedule to accommodate for the activities I wanted to do. He also brought a camera and took some really great photos at the attractions. If you are thinking about booking a trip to Sri Lanka, do it! Thank you Ceylon Paradise and thank you Manjula!
Our guide and driver Manjula was very friendly and professional. He took care of us very well and also catered the trip specifically to our needs. The hotels booked were nice and comfortable and the mini bus used was new and well maintained.
We spent a week on a road trip touring the wonders of Sri Lanka. Our holiday was made all the more memorable by Udara, our charming guide. Cheerful, patient, courteous, and considerate, he is the ideal guide and we very much enjoyed his company.
Everyrhing was awsome. Sachi and Imeth were super guides, they have answered every question
Thanu and Tusith have made the tryp very interesting for us. We are very thankful for their service and love them as human beings. Sri Lanka is an extraordinary place to visit with them and if we come back again we will ask for them to be our guide and driver again.
Huge thanks to Chanaka for making our 7-day trip absolutely perfect. He is not only a fantastic, safe driver but also a wonderful guide who knows the country inside out. He was always on time, super helpful, and genuinely cared about our experience. He was incredibly flexible and accommodated our whatever request to add to the itinerary without hesitation. He also knew the exact spots for the best photos at the attractions and even brought us local fruits to try along the way. From navigating the busy schedules to giving us the best local tips, he handled everything flawlessly. We feel so lucky to have had him with us. Highly recommend Chanaka to anyone visiting Sri Lanka!
Our tour guide udara is attentive, cheerful, and provided excellent service. He offered insightful explanations regarding the history and culture of each location, which greatly enriched our experience. The pace of the trip was well-organized, ensuring a comfortable balance between sightseeing and downtime. He was consistently attentive to the needs of us.
Our 12-day tour of Sri Lanka was a great experience. As a group of 5 from Poland, this was our first time in Asia, and Ceylon Paradise Travels made it seamless and stress-free. Our driver/guide Vimukthi was very professional and attentive. Despite the chaotic traffic, we felt completely safe with him. He always dropped us off in safe spots, helped us to cross busy streets, and assisted in communicating with locals. He was flexible, open to our suggestions, never rushed us, and created a great atmosphere. Our trvel agent Janani was also highly professional and helpful. She responded quickly to all our messages, easily implemented our suggestions, and helped us book a hotel for the days after the tour ended. We had professional, English-speaking guides at every attraction. We highly recommend Vimukthi and Janami for anyone visiting Sri Lanka!
We had an absolutely incredible experience with Chamikka from Ceylon Tours during our family trip to Sri Lanka. From the moment we arrived, Chamikka made everything easy, enjoyable and completely stress-free. He took us on all of our chosen excursions and was always happy to be flexible when we wanted to change our itinerary or make adjustments along the way. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Some of our favourite experiences included the breathtaking sunrise hike up Sigiriya Rock, which was truly unforgettable, the incredible elephant safari, and the beautiful temple visits that gave us a real appreciation for Sri Lanka's history and culture. Every day, Chamikka took us to fantastic restaurants with excellent food choices, allowing us to experience authentic local cuisine. The hotels selected for us throughout the trip were also exceptional. Our favourite was the Tea Bush Hotel in Ramboda, which was simply stunning and a highlight of our stay. Chamikka's local knowledge, professionalism and friendly nature made a huge difference to our trip and helped create memories that will last a lifetime. He is a real credit to Ceylon Tours and we cannot thank him enough for everything he did for us. We highly recommend Ceylon Tours to anyone planning a visit to Sri Lanka and would not hesitate to travel with them again in the future.
The tour was enjoyable; we were able to customise it by removing some activities and adding others, We were able to successfully visit every sight, and we had our opinions and wants considered by our guide Oshan. Our guide was knowledgeable on both the sights and good resteraunts in the area.
Booking was not easy when we want to change destination, but nevertheless they were responsive via whatsapp. The tour operator did not explain each destination clearly, so you have to do your own research. Make sure that you check each destination and the accompanied admission fees as they are excluded. Some of the places felt like scam, such as the turtle conservation and bentota boat ride. Although this is not the operator’s responsibility, most of the hotel did not offer good food, except for Tamarine Tree hotel. But in general, all hotel rooms were good. Our guide Chanaka was a good accompanion. He was on time, drove safely and explained sufficiently. We highly recommend Chanaka as your guide.
A very pleasant first-time experience in Sri Lanka. We had a truly wonderful holiday with Ceylon Paradise Travel and everything was thoughtfully planned and very well arranged from start to finish. A special thank you to our wonderful driver-guide, Manjula, who was incredibly attentive and took such great care of us throughout the trip. He constantly checked in to make sure everyone was comfortable and doing well and was always so helpful whenever we needed assistance or had any requests. His warmth, patience and dedication made the entire journey such a smooth and enjoyable experience for all of us. Thank you once again for taking such good care of us and making our trip to Sri Lanka such a memorable one.
We did a 7d tour with Ceylon Paradise Tour and it was a wonderful experience. Everything was planned well, and we were arranged to be there timely , but yet we could also relax and change the itinerary to accommodate our needs. Our driver Manjula and Imeth was wonderful. He drove safely, was always punctual, and a very kind man who always greeted us with a smile. We would highly recommend to visit Sri Lanka with this tour, and ask for Manjula as your driver!

We had a wonderful 7-day tour with our driver Udara and our German-speaking guide Ashika Silva. From booking to execution, it deserved 5 stars. Janani was in constant contact with us via WhatsApp and planned our entire trip, incorporating all our change requests. The guide did a fantastic job organizing spontaneous changes and fulfilling our wishes. They were extremely friendly and customer-oriented. We saw so much of the country, the hotels—everything was perfect. We highly recommend this tour company and our driver and guide! Excellent job!
Our family of six (four adults including grandparents, and two children aged 8 and 10) completed a 7-day tour with Ceylon Paradise Travels, and we cannot recommend them highly enough. From start to finish, the trip was perfectly organized and deeply memorable. Since our children and the grandparents don't speak much English, we requested a German-speaking tour. Our guide, Ranji, was great. His German was good, allowing everyone to feel included. He answered all our questionsl and provided insightful explanations about the history and culture of Sri Lanka. One of the highlights was the incredible care Ranji and our driver Sachi showed toward the grandfather of our group. When we faced high steps or obstacles (like the climb up Pidurangala) they were right there to provide assistance. Their patience made it possible for the whole family to enjoy the sights together without stress. Our driver Sachi, was professional and calm. The driving was always relaxed and safe, which made the long journeys through the hills very comfortable. A special touch we loved was their spontaneity; they would often stop to buy us local snacks to try, which the kids absolutely loved! They were always flexible whenever we asked for extra stops. The logistics were seamless. The 4-star hotels selected for us were nice and comfortable and they made sure we had a family room for the parents and kids. We were especially impressed by how they timed our visits, planning our arrivals to avoid the biggest crowds, scheduling walks during the cooler parts of the day, and ensuring we were perfectly on time for the train ride and temple ceremonies. Thank you to Ranji and Sachi for taking such great care of our family and creating the good vibes in the bus. You made our Sri Lankan holiday truly special!
Absolutely fantastic 7-day tour in Sri Lanka with Ceylon Paradise Travels! Our guide Chanaka was professional, welcoming, and very knowledgeable. He flexibly and thoughtfully adjusted the plans according to the weather. The itinerary matched our interests perfectly, and every day felt enjoyable and well organized. We learned a lot, took great photos, and truly felt taken care of from start to finish. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a personalized and stress-free way to explore Sri Lanka!
This is an excellent 7-day private tour in Sri Lanka. We visited this country for the first time. A great variety of sightseeing and activities were covered and hotels were good. A big thanks to our experienced tour guide Oshan, who was very responsible and accommodating . He made good recommendations about local shops and restaurants . Highly recommended!!
We had a private tour of 7 days with our guide Mr Oshan. The hotels were clean and comfortable. The itinerary was well planned. Our guide Oshan was very experienced and kind. We recommended this tour and Oshan.
I had the best trip with Chanaka!! We were able to see so much of the country, experience so many different things, enjoy so much of the nature / scenery, and interact with so many different people. He was a great driver, super helpful in coordinating with various guides and hotels, and made sure I had everything I needed to enjoy my time to the fullest. Thank you, Chanaka!
Malinda was my guide for a 7-day private tour in Sri Lanka, and I couldn't have asked for a better companion. You can really feel that he enjoys his job, which makes him so much more than just a guide—he feels like a friend who is excited to show you his country. He’s an amazing photographer and helped me take so many great shots! He was so thoughtful, making sure I was comfortable and treating me to local snacks and drinks along the way. His time management was spot on, and he accompanied me into most sights to explain the history and culture. He is incredibly nice and attentive. Highly recommend him for a personalized and joyful travel experience!"
Choosing this tour was the best decision I’ve made. Ceylon Paradise Travels devised a comprehensive itinerary that allowed me to see the very best of Sri Lanka; the entire experience was wonderful, fabulous, and truly extraordinary. The tour began with a private hotel pick-up where I met Wasantha, the most friendly and helpful guide. At my request, he took me to some of the most significant spots in Colombo, yet we still managed to complete the Day 1 itinerary smoothly. Wasantha drove skillfully and efficiently, providing the most comfortable and reliable transport throughout the journey. It truly felt like traveling in First Class. He arranged everything perfectly, and since the experience was private, I benefited from the expertise of local guides, skipped unnecessary queues, and had more time to explore. He also took great pictures of me at every spot, which preserved my best memories. Thank you so much, Wasantha! During the trip, we visited the cave temple with its breathtaking Buddhist statues, the iconic Lion Rock, and enjoyed traditional village experiences. We went on an exciting elephant safari and visited the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, the most sacred place in Sri Lanka. I also loved the authentic dance show with fire-eating, the beautiful mountain views in Kandy, the lush tea plantations, and the unforgettable Ambuluwawa Tower. We even explored the famous Yala National Park, where I caught a glimpse of a leopard, before heading to the exotic atmosphere of Galle and seeing the stilt fishermen in Mirissa. All in all, Sri Lanka offers a spectacular variety of experiences, from natural scenery and historical sites to engaging encounters with locals and wildlife. I appreciate this tour so much, and the price was a great value. As Wasantha mentioned, my luggage got heavier over the days because it was packed with happiness and memories.
English meaning: We had an absolutely fantastic private tour experience in Sri Lanka, and a huge shout-out goes to our tour guide Chanaka! First, he was very friendly and kind, with more than sufficient English communication skills – we had no trouble understanding each other throughout the trip. Second, his driving was extremely safe, which made us feel at ease and comfortable on the road. Third, he is truly a photography expert. He knew exactly the best spots for taking photos, and every location he recommended turned out to be incredibly photogenic, giving us so many precious travel memories. What impressed us the most was how smart and attentive he was. He always knew the best time to visit each attraction and proactively arranged the best viewing spots for us, making the entire journey both efficient and enjoyable. Thank you so much for giving us such a perfect Sri Lanka trip. Highly recommended to anyone planning to visit this beautiful country!
I had a fantastic experience visiting the Sri Lanka, thanks to OShan. He was incredibly passionate, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about ensuring my travel mate and I had a great time. Oshan explained and told the local stories that were both engaging and easy to understand, which really enhanced the experience. Oshan was also very attentive and helpful throughout the trip, always checking in on us and making sure everything ran smoothly. What I appreciated most was how efficiently he managed the schedules. He helped us avoid unnecessary waiting time, which meant we had more time to truly enjoy and explore Sri Lanka Highly recommend Oshan and Ceylon paradise to anyone looking for a well-organised, informative, and enjoyable Ceylon experience.
Oshan , our guide and driver is fantastic . He is always cheerful and taking care of us all the time. He is funny and gives us more joy and laughter. Although it was pouring rain the day we visited the tea factory , he made it up the time on the following day to do the tea leaves picking so we won’t miss out. He will tailor our requests to fit into the standard itinerary . I would highly recommend joining this tour with Oshan. Save you the time on planning and booking different hotels .
We have had an amazing trip. Our guide, Sachi, couldn’t have been more helpful or well informed. We were able to completely relax and enjoy everything. We highly recommend this trip.

Had a great trip with Wasantha around the main attractions of Sri Lanka
I booked this trip alone, buzzing with excitement, and Sri Lanka delivered from the very first evening. The first sunset set the tone perfectly. My tour guide Malinda took me to Pidurangula Rock as the day cooled, and I am genuinely grateful he was there. The path winds through boulders and ancient temple caves - raw, uneven, and demanding in the best way - and Malinda was right beside me the whole climb, helping me navigate the trickier sections with patience and encouragement. At the summit, every bit of effort dissolved instantly. The view opened up across the flat jungle canopy straight to Sigiriya Rock standing alone in the distance, monumental and golden in the dying light. Fewer crowds, no noise, just that extraordinary panorama. I sat up there until the colours faded. A better introduction to Sri Lanka I could not have imagined. The next morning I was up before dawn for Sigiriya and at 4:30 in the morning I was already climbing in the darkness. Reaching the summit just as the sky cracked open in gold and rose above the treetops was one of those privately magnificent moments that belong entirely to you. Malinda waited below, fully supportive of my choice, ready when I came back down. That dynamic defined the entire week. I had ideas, requests, things I wanted to see and do that weren't necessarily on the standard itinerary - and Malinde said yes to all of it. He rearranged, adjusted, suggested the best timing, and made every detour feel effortless. He never made me feel like I was asking too much. Quite the opposite - he seemed genuinely pleased when I pushed for something different. For a solo traveller with a mind of her own, that kind of flexibility and support is everything. Yala Safari delivered exactly what the wild promises - leopards moving through tall grass, elephants at close range, the pure thrill of being a guest in someone else's kingdom. And then Ella, which quietly stole my heart. Misty hills, the Nine Arch Bridge at golden hour, good drinks and unhurried evenings. Romantic even in solitude. I left that town feeling rested in a way that goes deeper than sleep. It's the kind of town that asks nothing of you and gives everything. Sri Lanka is magnificent. A special mention must go to my tour guide, Malinda. Good guides show you places. Great guides make you feel looked after. Malinde is the latter. He was attentive, knowledgeable, endlessly patient, and genuinely invested in making sure I had a wonderful experience. You could tell it wasn't just a job for him. That personal touch made an enormous difference throughout the week. I came home changed in the small, important ways that only the best trips manage.
During our resent trip to Sri Lanka we had the absolute pleasure of having the most incredible driver, Chanaka!! From the very first day, he went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. His knowledge of the country’s history, culture, and hidden gems added so much depth to every place we visited. Not only was he exceptionally professional and always punctual, but he was also kind and genuinely caring. He made us feel completely safe and comfortable throughout our journey, navigating busy cities and winding mountain roads with total confidence. His recommendations for scenic spots, and unique local treats were spot on – we would never have discovered some of these amazing places without him! What truly set him apart was his warm personality and constant smile. He treated us like family rather than just clients, always checking in to make sure we were happy and adjusting plans to suit our preferences. Thanks to him, our time in Sri Lanka was smooth, stress-free, and filled with wonderful memories. If you’re planning a trip to Sri Lanka, we cannot recommend him highly enough. He is an absolute gem and a huge part of why we fell in love with this beautiful country!

Chanaka & Ceylon Paradise Travels was the peace I don’t know I needed during my solo visit to Sri Lanka for my birthday. Chanaka went above and beyond to ensure I felt the Sri Lankan charm. Istuthi Chanaka & CPT for a wonderful experience! Rating: 7 out of 10 Stars. Highly Recommend.
The tour experience was fantastic and our driver and guide, Oshan, was really excellent. He was very caring and looked out for our needs at every step along the tour. The only issue we had was a few of the buffets that were included in the package/hotel. It was just not very good.
Oshan our guide and driver is the best of the best of best. We travel over 20 countries and he’s the best. He insists to take our photos and I’m a tourist that doesn’t like to take photo. He took some of the best photos . He is so professional and taking care of everything. We will highly recommend Oshan. Definitely will hire him next time we travel to Sri Lanka version 2.0
My trip through Sri Lanka couldn’t have been better. Ceylon Paradise took care of everything for me, and my guide Chammika, who I cannot be more grateful for, was amazing! He ensured my experience was top-notch everywhere we went, and to make it better, he is an excellent photographer. Ceylon took care of everything from hotel reservations to designing a packed itinerary of fun activities to see the splendor of Sri Lanka—from hiking in Sigiriya, temple visits, Kandy, safaris, the Ella train ride, and Nuwara Eliya, wrapping it up with the stunning beaches of Mirissa and a final visit to Fort Galle. Thank you, Ceylon, and a big Istuti to Chammika!
Ceylon Paradise travels organized the most fabulous 7days/6 nights sight seeing tour throu SRI LANKA. Everything was wonderfully planned and made special: the 4 & 5 star hotels, their delicious breakfast and dinner buffets; the most famous island spots were visited, Safaris, rock klimbing, temples. It provided a perfect first impression of this beautiful island. The people of Sri Lanka whom I was able to meet with were incredibly friendly, smiling, wit their eyes too. I was so impressed by all the wonderful impressions I could collect first hand that I am alredy planning to return. The driver cum guide was very knowledgeable, friendly, kind and helpful: in short perfect. As is the owner of this company. The trip is highly recommendable.
