We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location was excellent, and the service was great throughout our visit. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and supportive, making us feel very welcome. The food was okay, but the overall experience was really enjoyable. Had a wonderful stay at Sigiriya Village Hotel! The property is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by nature and greenery, which makes the whole experience so peaceful and relaxing. The cottage-style rooms were comfortable and clean, and the pool area with the view of Sigiriya Rock was definitely one of my favourite parts. The staff were warm, welcoming and always helpful. I also loved the overall village-style atmosphere of the property. it gives you a lovely Sri Lankan experience while still being very comfortable. A beautiful place to stay in Sigiriya, especially if you want to be close to Sigiriya Rock and enjoy a peaceful escape. Highly recommended! ❤️
We had a fantastic stay From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and well cared for. The check-in process was smooth and efficient. Our room was clean, spacious, and extremely comfortable, with great amenities and a quiet atmosphere that made for a restful night's sleep. The location is also super convenient for exploring the local area. Special thanks to Mr Mirzan (Senior Sales executive Coop) and Mr. Duminda U Shantha (F&B Manager) for being so attentive and helpful throughout our stay. The property offers a brilliant village-style setting that feels authentic and immersive, yet everything is exceptionally well maintained. The rooms are housed in charming cottage-style units that are both comfortable and thoughtfully designed, blending rustic aesthetics with modern convenience. One of the highlights of the stay was the incredible natural surroundings. The hotel is alive with birdlife—you’ll spot peacocks, muscovy ducks, swans, geese, and more roaming freely. The ponds add to the serene atmosphere, filled with colorful guppies and gouramis, making every walk through the property feel peaceful and refreshing. The dining experience was equally impressive. The buffet spread offers excellent variety and quality, while the à la carte options are equally delicious. A special mention to the head chef, who personally oversees even the smallest details, ensuring every dish is perfectly executed. The staff truly elevate the experience—they are warm, hospitable, and always ready to help with a smile. Housekeeping is top-notch, keeping everything spotless and comfortable throughout the stay. Overall, the serene environment, attentive service, and unique village ambiance make Sigiriya Village Hotel a place I would highly recommend. A perfect stay in every sense.
