We had such a wonderful experience staying here! The service was absolutely amazing, and the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The food was delicious, and everything was presented beautifully. The room was very clean, comfortable, and had all the facilities we needed. Honestly, we couldn’t find anything to complain about. We originally planned to stay for just one night, but after arriving and seeing the place, we decided to extend our stay for another night. That itself says a lot about how much we enjoyed our experience! If you’re planning to visit Sigiriya, I would definitely recommend this place. It’s a wonderful place to stay, and we would happily come back again. ❤️

We had an amazing stay at Seerock hotel in Sigiriya! Honestly, the photos and ratings on the booking platforms don't do this place justice. The property is much better in person, with a peaceful atmosphere and beautiful surroundings that made our stay truly memorable. The food was excellent throughout our stay—fresh, delicious, and prepared with great care. Every meal exceeded our expectations. A special mention to the staff, who were incredibly warm, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Their hospitality made us feel genuinely welcome and added so much to our overall experience. If you're visiting Sigiriya, I would highly recommend staying here. It offers great value, wonderful service, and a memorable experience that deserves much more recognition than what the booking platforms reflect.

We had a pleasant stay at Seerock The King’s Domain. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. As we were travelling with two children, we had to book two rooms, which made the stay quite expensive for our family. However, the rooms were connected, which was extremely practical for us. The beds were huge and very comfortable, and the bathrooms were beautiful and spacious. The hotel grounds are beautiful and well maintained overall. The pool was lovely and our children really enjoyed it. It was a bit of a shame that the decorative stone fountain at the pool was damaged, as it affected the overall appearance. Breakfast was good. We cannot comment on dinner because we preferred eating in Sigiriya village. The hotel staff were friendly throughout our stay. The only disappointing part was the organisation before and during our visit. Before arrival, communication by email was excellent. We discussed both a Minneriya safari and a cycling tour and we were told that both could easily be when we arrive at the hotel, especially the bike tour. When we arrived, we declined the safari because we had already organised it with our driver. After that, we were suddenly told that we should organise the cycling tour ourselves in Sigiriya because the nearby bicycle rental was no longer available. After we declined the safari, the communication became less helpful, which left us with the impression that our decision may have influenced the response we received. This caused unnecessary inconvenience because I had to spend time researching where to rent bicycles myself and it unfortunately affected our experience. Overall, Seerock The King’s Domain is a beautiful hotel with spacious, connected family rooms, very comfortable beds, lovely bathrooms, a nice pool, a good breakfast and friendly staff. If the activity information had been more accurate and consistent, our stay would have been even better.

My partner and I have just finished a 2 week trip to Sri Lanka and our final stay was at The King's Domain. I cannot begin to express how excellent our time was at this boutique hotel. The small, 12 chalet hotel is located slightly out of Sigiriya and feels so peaceful and relaxing being in the heart of nature. The rooms are magnificent! They are spacious, well designed, and feel luxurious. The private pool is a lovely addition too, and is located at the back of a property within a small suntrap which is ideal for an afternoon after activities in the nearby area. The food is excellent. We enjoyed the Sri Lankan breakfast everyday and would highly recommend. The breakfasts change to allow you to try different tastes of Sri Lanka and it is delicious. By far the best breakfast we have had whilst being here. The dinner menu is also great with lots of options but we found ourselves eating out most evenings to try different offerings. Most importantly, The King's Domain has the most excellent staff and team. They were all considerate, helpful, and engaged with all manners. All of the team went out of their way to make our stay excellent and we are truly grateful for their help. In particular, we'd like to raise thanks to Malinda, Krishan, Nihini, and Chominda. They all went above and beyond in their hospitality for us! We would highly recommend staying at The King's Domain if you visit Sigiriya. We would visit again when we next return to Sri Lanka.
