Jetwing Vil Uyana, A Luxury Reserve

We went here for our Honeymoon. It was not the original plan, originally we booked at Liyya Water Villas but they did not have our booking, gave us the wrong room and we ended up getting a full refund. Jetwing Vil Uyana accommodated us immediately after the finalisation of the booking, sending a car to pick us up (a luxury hiace with very comfortable reclining seats) and having our room ready prior to arrival. We loved our stay so much, we extended our stay by 1 night, and on our last night, our private butler Gimhan set up a private dinner next to the water. Also, Shantha allowed both my wife and I to drive the buggies around. The location is perfect for both the Dambulla Cave Temple and Sigiriya Lion Rock Fortress. The area is beautiful and the food amazing. We are definitely coming back again and again.

Vil Uyana is amazing. Unfortunately we stayed here first on our trip around Sri Lanka and it spoiled all the other hotels for us! It is beautiful, calm and the rooms are lovely. The infinity pool overlooks the wetland. There are monkeys roaming and lots of beautiful birds, my favourite being the kingfishers. The food was delicious. The service was outstanding. Dissanayaka looked after us brilliantly. Honestly I cannot praise it highly enough. Completely recommend. Will definitely come back if we have the opportunity to do so. Thank you.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An unforgettable family stay at Jetwing Vil Uyana Our family recently stayed at Jetwing Vil Uyana during our trip to Sri Lanka after being away from the country for nearly seven years. We chose the Paddy Dwelling with a private pool, and from the moment we entered the property, we were simply speechless. The surroundings are stunning, peaceful, and unlike anywhere else we’ve stayed. It truly felt like stepping into a different world. We travelled with our two children (9 and 3 years old), and every member of the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. Check-in was smooth, and we were introduced to our personal butler, Prasanna, who looked after us throughout our three-day stay. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him. He was always available, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our stay comfortable. This level of personalised hospitality was beyond our expectations and is something we have never experienced before in Sri Lanka. The food was excellent throughout our stay. Every meal was delicious, and the staff always paid special attention to our children, making sure they had everything they needed. As parents, we really appreciated that extra level of care. One of the highlights of our stay was the farm tour, where both of our kids enjoyed picking fresh fruits and vegetables while learning about local farming. Another unforgettable part of our stay was the incredible wildlife within the hotel premises. We saw many beautiful birds, including peacocks, along with other animals and reptiles in their natural habitat. It was a wonderful experience, especially for our children. We also appreciated that the hotel always provided a buggy for us after dark, even for short walks, ensuring guests could enjoy the property safely and comfortably. I would also like to give special recognition to the General Manager, Nadhun Punchihewa. He is a genuinely warm, humble, and approachable person who made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. It is clear that he leads by example, and I believe his positive attitude and commitment to guest satisfaction are reflected in every member of the team. The outstanding hospitality we experienced at Jetwing Vil Uyana is a true testament to his leadership. Finally, I would like to thank every member of the Jetwing Vil Uyana team for making our family holiday so happy, relaxing, and truly unforgettable. We arrived expecting a beautiful hotel, but we left with lifelong memories and heartfelt appreciation. Everyone was warm, attentive and genuinely cared about making our stay comfortable and relaxing. Travelling with a toddler and a baby can be demanding, yet the team always went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and make us feel at home. Its location is perfect, with easy access to Sigiriya Rock, Pidurangala, Dambulla and the surrounding attractions, allowing us to enjoy the Cultural Triangle at our own pace. Luxury here is not only about the rooms or facilities, but about how easy the team makes it for you to slow down, relax and enjoy every moment. It is one of those rare places that leaves a lasting impression and one we already know we will return to in the future.
