Cinnamon Lodge

We had a wonderful one-night stay at Cinnamon Lodge, and overall, it was a really pleasant experience. The stay was comfortable, and all the staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. A special mention goes to **Chef Ravindra**, who made our stay even more comfortable. We were travelling with our 4-year-old daughter, and Chef Ravindra was incredibly thoughtful and attentive to her needs. He was genuinely keen to customize meals especially for her, checked with us about what she would like, and made sure she was comfortable with the food. His care and personal attention really stood out to us. There is also a small outdoor play area for children, As an additional suggestion, having an **indoor play area for kids** would be a great added advantage, especially during rainy weather or when children need a place to play indoors. Overall, it was a lovely experience with genuine hospitality and care from the team. Thank you to everyone at Cinnamon Lodge for making our short stay so enjoyable. We would definitely be happy to visit again! ❤️

We absolutely loved and enjoyed our stay here. The villa was spacious, beautifully designed, and provided the perfect setting for a relaxing and memorable stay. The staff were exceptional — truly some of the best, if not the best, we experienced during our entire holiday in Sri Lanka. We would especially like to thank Chef Ravindra Samarakoon for the amazing ice cream tasting experience. It was definitely one of the highlights of our stay, and the chilli-flavoured ice cream was such a fun and unexpected surprise! Thank you, Chef, and the entire restaurant team for your excellent service and for making the experience so special. A special mention also goes to our butler, Asanka Ravindra, who was incredibly attentive to even the smallest details. His thoughtful and personalized service made our stay extremely comfortable, relaxing, and completely stress-free. Finally, a big shout-out to the housekeeping team, Ronal and Prebath, for their excellent work and attention to detail throughout our stay. Overall, a truly wonderful experience. We would highly recommend this place and would happily return again!

The hotel lived up to our expectations. We are rather satisfied with the stay and food. I must say that the breakfast and dinner buffets were especially delicious. Our lodging was surrounded by trees and birds and it offered a serene repose to us. The staff were hospitable and their service was exceptional. We loved our stay and made many memorable moments in this hotel. If you are a bird lover then this is a great place to sight exotic ones

3 night stay Great staff, lakeside location and comfortable rooms. Good value. Jeremy was our omnipresent host and was very keen to see were well looked after. Shout out to Gihani and Sisira in the bar and the lovely breakfast staff. Fantastic pool. Grounds are extensive and border the lake where there are amazing sunsets. Rooms are large though a little tired in places. Good AC and comfortable bed. Both shower and bath in the bathroom. Food was fine. Extensive breakfast buffet. All good quality and catering for all tastes. Close to the ancient sites of Sigiryia and Polonaruwa which are amazing.
