Datanla Waterfall is a very nice waterfall, located in the middle of Prenn Pass about 5km south of Da Lat city center. Pongour waterfall or also known as 7 cascading waterfalls, this is the most beautiful waterfall of the Central Highlands. The waterfall is located in Duc Trong district, about 50km south of Da Lat city on the National Highway 20.

The silk weaving factory in Dalat is an interesting place to visit, to see the entire process, from cocoon to the fabric. This is the only silk factory in the country that maintains the old method of removing silks from the cocoons. The cocoons are soaked in hot water, and the delicate thread is wound onto a machine that unravels the cocoon. The thread is then wound onto a reel, which is used on a large loom, to weave it into a delicately patterned fabric.
Tourists coming here are guided enthusiastically by the farm owner on how to raise crickets, care for crickets, breed… Moreover, visitors can also enjoy dishes made from crickets..

Su is great and we really enjoy the day
So we booked directly with the operator, which was a very straightforward process via WhatsApp. In the morning they came and picked us up from our hotel. However, we was picked up at 8 and then did several laps of Da Lat centre before leaving Da Lat, also passing our hotel on the way out. This meant we could have been picked up last and not had to go around the town for no reason. I think if they organised the route better, this could have been avoided. In terms of what we did, seeing the waterfalls was good, but at the first place you had to pay for the alpine cart. This was ok but could have been better, as it was relatively expensive for what it was. The second waterfall was great and the best bit of the day for me. The third waterfall was also ok. Mainly the Lady Buddha was nice, but the waterfall is under construction so you could only really see it from afar. We stopped for lunch, and this was the worst part in our opinion, as it was an expensive buffet which wasn't the best. I feel this should have been mentioned beforehand, as it was 199,000 VND and we could have wandered or brought lunch with us for cheaper. Afterwards we went to the silk factory, which was very good. Then the cricket farm, which was a short stop, but being able to try the cricket and some whiskey was cool. The final stop was the weasel coffee, which looks nice and the view is great. But the coffee is rather expensive, even the cheap ones. We again felt it strange that you pay a lot and don't even get a taster. Finally, we was able to be dropped off with no hassle. Su, our tour guide, was the very best part of it and he deserves all the praise. If it was him on a better itinerary, then it would be amazing. It felt very out of place compared to other tours we have been on.
It was a fun enough day and the waterfalls were nice, but the vegetarian food was not very good and quite overpriced and it would have been nice to include some of the tickets in the price
My family and I visited Da Lat and had a wonderful experience with this tour with Huy. He was very knowledgeable and had great communication skills. His explanation at every stop was informative easy to understand. Huy was also very understanding and attentive to elderly parents. We highly recommend Huy on this tour when you visit Dalat !

We had a great day with Su! He was informative, fun and kept great time. You pay for the Datanla admission separately so you can choose what activity you want to do on site. There are many stops during the day but you do not feel rushed at any point. The lunch stop was also delicious. Thank you Su!!!
Greg and I really enjoyed the three waterfalls tour today. The waterfalls were beautiful and not too difficult to get to. The alpine coaster was fantastic. I found the silk factory very interesting and learned a lot. I wasn't too sure i wanted to taste crickets at the cricket farm but they were OK, my husband and thought they were delicious . Huy our tour guide was enthusiastic and fun. He taught us a lot about silk, crickets and coffee. Thanks Huy for a fantastic day!

Huy was very attentive and the tours was interesting and covered many different attractions. It’s a nice experience for a day. Including admition fees and lunch you should expect to spend around 1M in total though. The weasel coffee is quite expensive.
