Dalat: 3 Waterfalls - Alpine Coaster - Coffee & Luge Adventure

IThis was genuinely one of the worst travel experiences I have ever faced. I booked the tour through Agoda almost a month in advance for the scheduled date of 27 August 2026. Despite having provided my WhatsApp contact details at the time of booking, Happy Day Tour never contacted me regarding my booking. On the day of the scheduled tour, no one from the company showed up, and I received no prior notification or explanation. I had to request the reception staff at my hotel in Da Lat, Vietnam, to help me contact the tour operator through their local sources. They eventually managed to contact the company and shared my WhatsApp number with them—which was particularly frustrating because I had already provided the same contact information when making the booking. Only then was I informed that the tour had been cancelled because, according to the company, their website had crashed and they were unable to process any tours. This was extremely disappointing and unacceptable. My entire day—and effectively a valuable day of my vacation—was wasted because of their failure to communicate and properly manage my booking. I had planned my trip in advance, and by the time I learned about the cancellation, other tour operators were already accepting bookings for the following day. As a result, I ended up staying in my hotel room instead of enjoying the planned tour. The company mentioned that they have been in this business for around 10 years and pointed out their excellent reviews on TripAdvisor. Unfortunately, my personal experience was far below even a one-star experience. Technical problems can happen, but failing to inform a customer who has booked nearly one month in advance is simply not acceptable. A timely message or email informing me of the cancellation would at least have given me the opportunity to make alternative arrangements. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Happy Day Tour. I sincerely hope they improve their communication and booking management so that other travellers do not lose a valuable day of their vacation in the same way.

Great tour, covers lots of sights in dalat Chien was a great tour guide, has vast knowledge and is super friendly and helpful in everything. His warm charactar shines through and ensures that you are taken care of!

Mr Chien was a great guide! Gave me a very personalised experience and made sure i understood every stop. Gave me ample time to look through all the attractions as well which i thought was nice. Because it was so private, we ended earlier than expected but i am very happy i had enough time. Also glad to try the Datanla Alpine coaster for only 250k Dong! A must try!

Chien made a great job providing us the explanations about each stop and letting us enough time to wander around. Those who wanted more exercise or sensations could do so, and those looking to relax more could sit and enjoy the surroundings. For a group of 8 people, the trip lasts from 8 AM to 4 or 4.30 PM depending on the traffic. No pressure on buying stuff either. There is value for your money, so I would definitely recommend this tour.

I had an absolutely amazing time on the Da Lat Countryside Shared Tour. The three waterfalls we visited were truly stunning—each one has its own unique beauty and they are a must-see if you are in Da Lat. Our tour guide, Me Chien, made the trip even more special. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the local sites and Vietnamese culture. He explained everything so clearly and was happy to answer all of our questions. It was great to learn so much about the history and traditions of the area while taking in the beautiful scenery. Mr Chien was out tour guide. He’s great and show us all the places on the tour and explains so many things during the tour. It was like we’re going for an educational/adventure tour. Would love to go for another tour with Happy Day Travel.

Tour was very informative. Mr Chien did an excellent job of narrating the various tour spots we went to, both in Vietnamese and in English. He made sure everyone felt welcomed. The locations we visited were all interesting and showcased a lot of the local sights and unique farm activities. Would recommend.

This was not the experience described on the website at all ! We first came to this roller coaster place, where we were supposed to buy extra tickets if we wanted to see the first waterfall (more than 1 million dongs !). If you dont want to do the roller coaster you will have to wait 1h before leaving to go to another waterfall… furthermore, the elephant waterfall is also closed but it is never mentionned on the website, so if you think that you will get to see the 3 waterfalls, dont get tricked! We decided to head to pangour waterfall by ourselves because we couldn’t continue the tour with such a guide

Happy Days travel, with tour guide Mr chin is a must do experience in Dalat. Mr Chin has not only an amazing knowledge of the area and sites visited, but incredible knowledge of Vietnamese history and culture. Each stop provides a different experience-waterfalls, bee farm, coffee farm, Buddhist Temple. Great full day tour

This excursion was perfect as a solo traveler! You meet a lot of fun people and Our guide, Mr. Chien, was incredibly funny and had a wealth of knowledge that he was more than happy to share, making the experience both engaging and educational. The stops along the way were absolutely beautiful, and the waterfalls were especially stunning definitely worth the visit!

Thanks to the guide, Mr. Chin, I had a great time in Đà Lạt. This tour is highly recommended for those wishing to enjoy nature while viewing three famous waterfalls. Not only that, but it also includes a visit to a beekeeping farm, a coffee plantation, and a pagoda, making it excellent value for money. Our driver, Mr Mihn, was also very kind. Mr Chien, tour guide, and Mr Minh, driver, gave us a perfect day touring Mr. Chien is very knowledgeable and shared with us many interesting stories about Vietnam culture, history and places that we visited. Mr Chien speaks fluent English so everyone can enjoy it. Your hotel needs to be located in center, otherwise you need to take taxi to join pick up point. Although it is Tet holiday, tour members are kind and gentle.

The trip went smoothly and had a good mix of local and international visitors. Mr. Chien provided clear and informative explanations throughout the tour. The only downside was that, due to the Tet holiday, some shops were closed.

The Datalan waterfall and Ponguor waterfall were well worth seeing up close. Definitely recommend the toboggan slide-like "alpine coaster". Chien was a wealth of information and kept us informed of where we were going and the day's schedule. Lunch was average however we were limited by Tet and restaurant closures. Surprisingly the bee stop and the weasel coffee stop were both entertaining and worthwhile.

This tour was a delight and highlight of our time in Da Lat. saw so many great things and the vibe was relaxed and not rushed. Mt Chien our guide was a fountain of information on so many things about Vietnam, the region and the sights we saw. His command of English was excellent . Efficient and timely pick up and our driver was so smooth we didn’t notice him, exactly as you want. Felt safe.
