Atv Tour In The Dalat Mountains

Had great day cruising through beautiful woods and fantastic view.our guides ( quan & quan) set good pace sp we could enjoy the trip both speak good english and we're warm,welcoming and informative,well worth the trip

My rating would be roughly 4.5. Overall, the experience was great riding through the hills and valleys of the trail. My guide Quan was fantastic, letting me set my own pace and stop as needed, and explained the different sites and some history. We stopped at some great sights overlooking a small farming town, seeing some cattle, and getting a view of Lang Biang. This tour is slower than other ATV tours I've been on, but its nice to take in the beautiful countryside greenery. Your average pace is approximately 10km/h. One quick disclaimer, the ATVs are rated up to 100kg (220lbs). If you are a bigger person, it is up to the owners discretion for you to go (I was fortunate enough to still go) with an extra charge to compensate for the gas.

The owner and guide Sam was dynamic, with a perfect mix of fun and historical context. The staff was so supportive, even giving me motoX pants to wear so that mine stayed clean. If the app had a sixth star, I would give it.

Our experience was top tier 5 star would definitely recommend. Our guide gave us food recommendations for after that ended up being the best food we ate since we have got to Vietnam. He also helped set up an awesome mountain top proposal for us and caught the whole thing on camera secretly. If you are in DALAT I definitely recommend giving this tour a try

Sam was a wonderful guide. Just fun to be around and so knowledgeable. Excellent at instructing use of ATV, safety, and terrain. The views were amazing. Saw Water Buffalo and Wild Horses. Just a wonderful experience. Lunch was delicious too! Would highly recommend

If you are over the crowds and up for some off road adventure you HAVE to do this tour with Sam. We had a fantastic morning out (we just beat the rain) and got to see places we just wouldnt have otherwise. Sam is very knowledgeable about the area and we found out a lot of things we had no idea about. Went into the Golden Valley, saw the various fruit and vege farms along with wild horses and buffalo. Some aspects such as the weather and track conditions are out of the operators control (there had been alot of recent rain affecting tracks) but Sam did his best to give us options to choose that still gave us a great experience. We were provided with clothing and footwear so we didnt get our own gear dirty. Finished the trip with a delicious fresh Bahn Mi at the base and a good chat with Sam. Loved it, highly recommend it!! It is a little way out of town, about 15minutes by car - Taxi/Grab to and from was approximately $250,000 VND total return at the time of the review. Do not let that put you off - the good stuff is always a little more difficult to get to, but usually always worth it!

Me and a few friends went on an ATV tour at Full Moon Farms and it was awesome! We had a great day exploring the mountains and valleys and we saw wild buffalo bathing in a muddy pool. I really recommend this company, they are super friendly and the staff speak good English for foreigners. The owner, Sam, is American and extremely nice and he was our tour guide and told us all about the areas we were driving through and made us all feel comfortable on the ATVs as we had not ridden before!!

Sam and his team were awesome and super friendly. Best tour guide and was super fun. He was very patient with us and we all enjoy riding the ATV. Lunch was also awesome. Homemade food can't get any better. 10/10.

We spent the afternoon driving a quad bike through Dalat’s mountains with Sam and it was the highlight of our trip. Sam is very friendly, knowledgeable and was a brilliant guide. Sam also told us the best spots in Dalat for food and cloud hunting! This tour is the perfect way to see incredible views of Dalat whilst combining it with an exciting and adventurous activity. We will be recommending this tour to all our friends.

Sam was an incredible tour guide and knew so much about the area! We warmed up on the property first, then drove across the street to the mountain. After the first few destinations we got to choose between an easy and hard route. We saw horses, cows, and ox, and the views throughout the trip were spectacular. The included lunch was absolutely fantastic!

We had such a fun morning riding the ATVs with Sam! He was a genuine and nice fella and was very understanding of my lack of experience with motorbike riding while also proving an enjoyable journey for my friend who did have prior experience with motorbikes. He was very knowledgeable about the local area and we had a great time chatting about different life experiences and he had a few jokes too. We finished up with lunch on the property which was delicious! 5/5 would recommend this tour.

If you’re going to Da lat you have to join this event. It was amazing. We met the instructors who greeted us with a smile and friendliness. Sam was our instructor and he was great. He asked for our needs and created a route in the mountains that fitted our skills and wishes. He also took some awesome fotos and videos of us along the ride. The ride was beautiful and Sam told us cool stories about the area. The price might seem kind of expensive, but it is all worth it once you get back from an awesome trip and end it with a cold beer and lunch.

Our stay at Full Moon Farms was amazing. Same and hin employees are very nice and help you with everything you need. ATV Tour was so much fun and this way we could experience a unique way of exploring vietnam.

Excellent time at Full Moon Farms. The staff are all very accommodating. Did the ATV tour, the experience is definitely top notch. Sam the instructor is a top guy, friendly and easy going. Knows alot about the city, the people and culture of Vietnam. Riding around on the ATV, never a moment I felt unsafe, the guy knows how to ride and teach well, making the first time very comfortable. Riding in and around the hills and through the trees is an awesome time to be had. Only way to experience Dalat is from the top of those hills. As you reach the top you get the experience to view the vast landscapes with the clear blue sky. Its quiet, nice quite. Beautiful scenes all round. Really really nice. The tour is a couple of hours long, so ample time to take pictures, relax and take it all in. After the riding you're offered food which is included. We had chicken and sticky rice, some of the best food I had in Dalat. Seriously. If you get the chance to visit Dalat the ATV tour provided at Full Moon Farms is a definitely a must do. Fully recommended.

My husband and I were first-time ATV users, and were initially slightly worried about our vehicle handling. However, our guide Sam was extremely friendly, and quelled our fears at the start by building our vehicle confidence and know-hows before taking on the tour proper. During the tour, we were treated to scenic routes and extremely lucky sightings of horses and water buffaloes. The hospitality afforded by Sam and team added gloss to an amazing experience in Vietnam - thank you!

We had an absolutely amazing time on this trip with Sam! The whole thing went smoothly from start to finish. Sam is a terrific guide who not only makes you very comfortable with the ATV’s but also gives you so much information about the areas you go through and even further when on the tour. I highly recommend this tour and would definitely do it if I was ever in Dalat again. 5 stars!

Super fun tour! We saw all kinds of wildlife, green houses, some very challenging terrain (if you can handle it ;)) and we had an absolute blast! We felt looked after and safe. Lunch included after was delicious. They accommodated my vegetarian preference as well which was tofu with the honey sauce for the chicken. The owner caters to experienced and non experienced riders. Highly recommend!

Seeing Dalat Mountains up close and with a super guide on ATVs, made the trip to Dalat most fun. Highly recommend the tour to anyone looking for adventure.

Riding ATVs with Sam was a real top-drawer experience - one of the best of our 3 month trip away. We had no previous experience of riding ATVs before but his explanations were very clear and he was really patient with us, and we were comfortably speeding along in no time. A really fun way to see some incredible surroundings, while hanging out with a friendly, funny and knowledgable guide - I would highly recommend it to anyone in Dalat.

MATEEEEEEE!! I was so lucky to have Sam to myself for the day. Тhe tour started off with a beautiful bowl of yogurt and fruit with ice as I was run through a quick brief. Sam and I then took off and every step of the way was absolutely beautiful. Even the local animals turned up a few times. So so many beautiful pictures to be taken before heading back for an absolutely delicious lunch. I cannot recommend this activity enough!

Our guide Sam was awesome. Extremely knowledgeable with the terrain and equipment. Both me and my partner felt very safe as first time ATV riders. We took tons of awesome pictures and videos. By far one of the best parts of my trip!!! Make sure to request Sam!

Excellent morning spent driving quads on the mountains in a very scenic route. The host was awesome and really created the best possible experience for us. The delicious food in the end with a beer was the cherry on top. Time very well spent!

Me and my friends were all total beginners before going into this, and by the end we all felt super confident. Our instructor Sam was amazing at teaching us, and was a blast to be around. And of course the trip itself was spectacular with different wildlife, some fun bumpy trails, and some time in a nice flat area to speed around in. The included food was also very nice, and a great way to round off the trip. Would highly recommend!!

I went on a quad Tour with Levy. Super friendly guide! Had an amazing experience. The organisation was very good and we stopped at really awesome places we would never find if we didn’t take this guided Tour. We had a wonderful day!

Wow! Da lay is already breathtaking, this tour just made it even better. We met up with Sam and his staff at 9 am. He gave a general overview of our day ahead and showed us how to operate the atvs. After about ten minutes familiarization on the atvs, we were on our way. Sam made sure we were able to keep up and took us to some beautiful peaks to overlook the valleys and hills in da lat. it’s one thing to drive around in a bus tour, but this is soooo much better and a much more personal experience. Great photograph opportunities and and awesome wildlife to view out in the open. The hills and roads weren’t to wild, and nothing a novice couldn’t handle (the atvs are automatic). I loved viewing the wild water buffaloes and wild horses in their natural habitats. It’s amazing fun ride for the whole family. The food…absolutely top notch delicious! The roasted chicken and wild boar were finger licking good (no copyright infringement intended). But honestly THE BEST meal we had while visiting da lat. the staff is super friendly and attentive to your needs, so rest assured, you will enjoy your time with Sam. I cannot say enough about this experience except it’s a must try while visiting da lat. if anything come for the food, either way you’re leaving very satisfied with great memories. I will be doing this again on my next trip to da lat.

I was fortunate enough to be on vacation in Dalat. While looking for things to do on Tripadvisor, I found Full Moon Farms, which offered an ATV tour in The Dalat Mountains. Sam, the owner and tour guide was nothing but excellent. Sharing his knowledge and desire to show people the beauty of the Dalat Mountains by an ATV. At the age of 75, my first time ever on an ATV, Sam made it so easy, so comfortable and so enjoyable. It is definitely a memory I will have for the rest of my life,.And this will not be my last time on an ATV. Oh, I almost forgot the lunch was excellent, the service was great, and the staff were really enjoyable people to talk to. If you have never been on an ATV, go to Full Moon Farm, in Dalat, book a tour with Sam I promise you, it’ll be a great experience of a lifetime that you will always remember and cherish. To my newly made friend, Sam, Thank you very much!

Booked the ATV ride using Tripadvisor a couple of days beforehand. Super easy to organise and Sam confirmed the reservation a short while later. Located at Full Moon Farms which was about a 20 minute Grab ride from my hotel (Mercure Resort). Was easy getting there by Grab but one of the friendly staff can organise a taxi on the way back as Grab drivers might not be around. Sam is a perfect host, made sure I was comfortable with driving the ATV (powerful enough and well maintained) before we set off and had helmet, scarf and long sleeved top available as well as a bottle of water. His friendly staff made me a delicious Vietnamese coffee before we set off. Sam customised the journey to suit my skill level but as I had ridden a scooter before, we went on a few of the more challenging tracks. Again, Sam made sure I was comfortable and let me set the pace. Went up and down a few of the mountain tracks as well as down to one of the lakes. The journey was quite challenging with the tracks full of ruts, tree roots and rough terrain but I managed it no problem, and I'm not an experienced rider. If you've ridden a motorbike or ATV before, you're going to have fun! Sam never tired of taking my photo and it was great to chat to him about his life before and while in Vietnam. A great host! The trip went for 3 hours and then Sam set off with another tour group while I sat down to a nice, tasty lunch of BBQ chicken, salad, soup and sticky rice. All up, it was a great day. Good value for money, a great way to see Da Lat with an experienced, knowledgeable host. Thank you Sam!

I was so scared to take the ATV tour from Full Moon Farms Resort. My friend had highly recommended it. Well, my experience was amazing. Mr. Sam, owner and tour guide explained the vehicle, what we were going to do and reassured me of the safety features. It turned out to be one of the best adventures of my life. We rode up an easy mountain to the famous cloud forest across the street from the resort, it had million dollar views, we saw water buffalo, wild horses and even found some exotic mushrooms. A very special Vietnamese lunch was included after the ride, I always wanted to try the Vietnamese bbq chicken and coconut bamboo rice. Yum!!! Now I know why my friends recommended this extraordinary trip.
