I absolutely loved my stay at Dalat Edensee Lake Resort & Spa! 💕 The resort is incredibly beautiful, surrounded by gorgeous flowers, lush greenery, and breathtaking natural scenery. It’s so peaceful and relaxing, the perfect place to escape the busy world and recharge. The food was delicious, the rooms were lovely, and the staff were wonderful and welcoming. One of my favorite things was seeing the beautiful peacocks wandering around the gardens. 🦚🌿 It made the whole experience feel magical! I especially loved the flowers, the fresh air, and the tranquil atmosphere. Everything felt charming and romantic. I would happily come back again and highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for beauty, comfort, and serenity in Dalat. 🌷✨

It would be a serious mistake to expect 5-star service from this place. The houses seem to be made of plywood — the soundproofing is practically nonexistent. And this matters, because your Sunday morning will start at 5:30 a.m. with the sound of your neighbors doing their morning exercises. Then the children will start running around and making noise. At 8 a.m., the gardener will start trimming the lawn. Every single one of these sounds will come straight into your room as if there were no walls at all. A secluded place surrounded by nature where you can escape the noise of the city and relax? Forget it. It is actually noisier here than in the center of a big city. There is neither proper soundproofing nor management that seems capable of considering the comfort of their guests. Apart from that, it is an average 3-star hotel. But 5 stars? Absolutely not
I struggle with giving a really good review on this hotel as I struggle with mixed emotions around having a great time but yet feeling some level of discomfort. When you first walk into the hotel you're definitely excited about how beautiful it appears in the lobby area. If you're staying in one of the Villas exclusive from the main hotel rooms you would possibly be surprised by what I'm about to mention. I checked in and was led upstairs to my room. . Something about walking through that hallway to get to my room felt very creepy. It gave me the vibes of a haunted mansion. The minute I walked into the room I could smell mold, dampness, and perfume. The room was one of the biggest that I have ever seen, but the furnishings were much older as the room. There is no air conditioning, but then again we are in the mountains so that was not a problem and a fan was present in the room, which I appreciated. However; my allergies kicked in right away and I could not get away from the smell. I informed the staff I needed another room. I was informed that I had an upgraded room which later I found out was far from the truth. They wanted to show me another room appeared to be located in a basement level, but we came in from the outside to that lower level. That room smelled damped also, appeared very homely, and not well lite. They attempted to tell me that the hotel was fully booked which after looking around layer; I realized that wasn't the case. The hotel lobby had no one but myself and a couple sitting at the time of arrival. The hotel staff was kind and noted that they could put a humidifier in the room to push out the smell and therefore I could stay within that room. I gave them time to do that as I walked the grounds of the hotel...the property which was pretty big. It was evident that they struggled to maintain this huge property as I saw rooms on top of rooms stacked with old furniture and areas look like storage. There was cobwebs, pigeon and peacock poop all over the place... every balcony I visited there was piles of peacock poop. I walked down to where the electric boats and it was clear that they were inoperable. Many of the villas were unoccupied. This place just seems so creepy with rooms and rooms of excessive furniture just thrown about but not decorated. The so-called gift shop was no gift shop at all but another storage area right by the lobby. The only place that had any level of light was the lobby area the children's playroom which was another story and the dining area. I came back to my room sometime later and the smell was gone which I appreciated. Okay so later that evening I was walking to my room and realized that it was pitch dark the lights were off on that area of floor. I have never seen such a thing in a hotel before. Again other reviews spoke of this; believing that the hotel is trying to save money on electricity which to me is ridiculous. I quickly ran to my room and sometime later someone was knocking on my door I was so freaked out and spooked and when I asked who is knocking on my door no one replied I called the front desk and asked if they sent someone to my room and they know that they will call me back but I never heard from them and I never opened the door... whoever it was went away whoever it was went away. Because of that I felt panicked and got very little sleep. Being at the property for the next few days; was better the breakfast was the same every day but there was a variety somewhat. Another thing that I really noticed was trying to visit the so-called Wellness area with the spa which you could tell there was no Spa going on there at all the lights were all off; and the place look abandoned and not well-kept. The gym area with the swimming pool was another abandoned looking area. It was an indoor pool so the water was not heated and was super cold to the touch of my fingers. . It was clear that no guests ever come to this area. I was extremely disappointed. It's really sad because this hotel property have so much great potential to be beautiful.
THE WORST VILLA IN VIETNAM! Very poor service and very disappointing experience. We traveled almost 6 hours to Da Lat for our vacation and already paid for the hotel, but upon arrival they suddenly asked for passports without properly informing us in advance. We had 3 physical copies of passports and the others had digital copies, but they refused to accept them. As foreign travelers, we prefer keeping our passports in a safe place because losing them abroad is a huge problem. Nowadays, digital copies should at least be considered. The other 3 guests could not provide physical passports because their passports are currently in immigration for visa processing. The receptionist told us we could cancel the booking and still get a refund, so we followed their instructions. But after canceling, they suddenly rejected the refund and we lost almost 32,000 PHP. We also waited almost 3 hours because they kept saying they would contact the manager, but nobody came. To make things worse, it was also my sister’s birthday celebration trip and this hotel completely ruined it. Very unprofessional, poor communication, and a complete waste of our time, money, and special occasion. I would never recommend this hotel to foreign travelers.
Spent 3 days 2 nights at the resorts. My parents don't like the location because it's far from everything, but my husband & I really enjoyed it. Very quiet, relaxing premises. Rooms are quite on the old side, but clean. It feels like the old Đà Lạt in my memory here, cool temp, misty morning, scent of pine, hilly walks between flowers. The city center lost this charm, so the resort 100% met my expectations. Staff are very helpful and friendly. We had most of meals at the resort restaurant. Every lunch and dinner feels like we're the only customers haha.
