The room’s a bit on the small side, to be honest. But look, the housekeepers and reception legends are absolute gems—so bloody friendly. The whole place is pretty spotless too. I loved that the bedding and towels didn’t have that weird, sterile 'hotel smell' going on. The amenities, though... yeah, a bit dodgy. The basic consumables are basically non-existent, so don't count on much there. And the shampoo? Mate, do yourself a favour and grab a cheap bottle from the local servo. Otherwise, your hair will end up feeling like a dry, crunchy prawn cracker. Last thing—the ventilation and soundproofing in the bathroom are a shocker. If you’re staying with someone else, just know they’re gonna hear everything you do in there, live and in HD. Definitely needs a fix!"

I booked the "King Suite" for 5 nights and it was probably the best accommodation that I've experienced in Gwangju. The room was clean, spacious, and modern, with an extra working space in the living room. The control panel for the lights was a bit weird, because when I turned everything on/off, I could hear clicking noises in the ceiling or walls for a period of time. This kind of disturb my attempt to sleep each night. Wi-fi connection was great, as expected from South Korea. The staffs were accommodating, but please do note that some of them might not be that good in English. Since the most efficient way to go here is with a taxi (at least IMO), make sure that you mention "Ramada Plaza Chungjangno" to the driver, as there is another Ramada Plaza in Seo-gu area (which is on the opposite side of the city).

Stayed only for a night but service provided from the front was awesome.

Mattress is hard as a rock. The A/C does not work. The bathroom is transparent with absolutely no privacy.
