We loved Jane's coffee-making class! She was so fun and had a great sense of humor. We had a great time learning to make Vietnamese coffee with a phin filter. We learned how to make egg coffee, salted coffee, and coconut coffee. We also signed up for lunch, which was delicious. The fee was very reasonable and we spent a few hours during the entire event. The atmosphere was comfortable and the class entailed 7 people total. We highly recommend this experience!

What a great little class this was!! Even for non coffee drinkers like me- it was still fun learning out to make the various Vietnamese coffe styles! Jane made it simple Informative & friendly. We made a mess (me anyway) learnt some fun facts, sipped some yummy coffee, and had alot of laughs! I highly recommend this coffee making class w Jane as a great activity to discover a little more of Vietnamese culture. Thanks for a great time Jane🙏
An experience making the best tasting coffee you have ever experienced. The instructor Vien (Jane) is very good and has excellent sense of humour. Beware the coffee is stronger so you may taste most of what you make. But every coffee tastes amazing. I highly recommend this experience
We really enjoyed this experience. The food before the class was really tasty and fresh, the coffee class was really informative, and the 3 types of coffees we made were really yum and informative. Highly recommend
Great and informative course. The coffee was really yummy and recipe were easy to follow.
Jane was so great and fun! We got to make 3 different coffee
Jane was awesome in our coffee making class! She shared lots of interesting information and we really enjoyed making three types of Vietnamese coffee. We took this class on our last day in Vietnam so we are excited to bring the recipes home. Thanks Jane!
Absolutely enjoyed the coffee experience. Very well organised and great value.
Wonder time with Jane! Would recommend to anyone who enjoys coffee
The class was amazing! Clear instructions, a friendly instructor and a lot of interesting information about the history of coffee in Vietnam. The coffees we've learned were tasty and it's really fun to make it!
Great experience! Great coffee and lunch. Lovely multi national group of participants. Made some new friends! Highly recommend.
A fun, must-do activity while visiting Da Nang! It was a joy to have Jane guide us through our experience. She’s funny and kept it interesting. The class was the perfect length of time and we made 3 delicious Vietnamese coffees! Highly recommend!
It was fun, interesting and very tasty. I am looking forward to sharing my new coffee making skills with my friends back at home! ::)) Thank you, Jane, for such lovely time and all the good advice!
The experience was fun and informative. The workshop leader was lovely. She has a cheerful disposition and demonstrates and explains clearly. We had lots of fun making the coffees and learning about the coffees from the different regions of Vietnam. It was a well-spent 90 minutes and, we recommend this workshop to coffee lovers.
Lovely lunch, fun class and Jane was delightful. Totally on coffee overload now though 😍. Thanks for the help with the ordering a grab Jane
Very personal and relaxed vibe. Great theory provided behind the hostory of each coffee. It was a very relaxed atmosphere with a friendly enviroment suited to the occassion. I woul recommend to anyone
Went on the morning coffee making workshop with my family and it was an absolute blast. Had a real laugh learning to make 3 styles of Vietnamese coffee with a small group of other travellers. Jane was a brilliant host, super helpful and made sure the course was fun and educational for everyone
Was a lovely and fun workshop with 3 types of coffee to make! Gained more knowledge about Vietnam coffee and its history! Quite interesting and enjoyable to drink self made coffee drinks! Jane - the instructor was fantastic, friendly and helpful. Very clean and equipped venue! Everything was well prepared and ready for customers. My husband and I plus good friends had a fantastic session! My parents dropped by towards the end of the workshop and were able to have a taste of the drinks! We also made new friends at this workshop! ;)
Jane did a great job. She’s very knowledgeable and patient. We made three common types of Vietnamese coffees (egg/salt/coconut) in a 90 min class. Highly recommended.
Great experience! My family tagged along with me & are not really into coffee but they still enjoyed the experience and the taste of Vietnamese coffee’s & are now converted . Very well organised. Would highly recommend.
Vietnamese coffee is unique and this class introduces you to some common styles. "Egg coffee" is more like creme brulee with a dash of espresso. "Salt Coffee", this version, is a slightly sweet & salty frappe (other versions I've had are closer to a caramel latte). And the traditional robusta coffee has a stronger flavor than arabica. Good times, good vibes, great value.
We had a private session with Jane. We absolutely loved it. Not only was it fun and informative. We made and drank 4 delicious coffees. Would definitely recommend.
Jane was very nice and welcoming! The class was well paced and easy going. Not too rushed. I also liked the history that went with each type of coffee. Would recommend!
The coffee class was great! Ww also had a yummy lunch that was more than enough food. They shared the recipes and at the end of the class shared recommendations of restaurants and places to go in Da Nang- so helpful!
A great way to spend a couple of hours learning how to make genuine Vietnamese egg, salted and Coconut coffee, as well as how to use a filter properly. I can't remember her name, but our instructor was funny, friendly and engaging. Only downside is I won't sleep for hours!
The best coffee class you'll ever have. Daisy was an amazing coffee artist and a magnificent host. 1000% recommend! Sofien Kaabar
I have done several reviews on Google and the GetyourGuide App about this course so that people interested in learning about coffee know where to go! If you like coffee and want to know how to make some of them so you can replicate them at home then this is the place to go! The course is around $30NZ or $17USD (around 400,000VD or thereabouts). That’s a good price for adding to your kit of knowledge without loading your suitcase up of “stuff”. The course is about 1.5 hours but it’s enough time to be taken through a brief overview of key types of coffee beans used in Vietnam. It also makes you realise how kaka the lattes are back at your home country and what you’ve been missing out on! It’s a good investment where you learn stuff that you can share with your family and friends. It also makes you realise how easy is to make and gives you an appreciation of why it takes so long to wait for your coffee at a cafe! It takes time people to brew a good coffee but what I realised is that the kaka I’ve been drinking back home is crap and if I’m going to have one, it may as well be the good stuff! The teacher named Daisy is amazing! She is very knowledgeable about coffee after growing up in a household where her father is an expert grower! She was patient and explained the steps so we could understand. She also has a massive personality and humour which makes the course enjoyable, light hearted and comfortable for people to ask questions and be curious about coffee.
This was an amazing experience, Ai (lyn) was an excellent host and teacher who is very passionate about Vietnamese coffee. Everyone had a story to tell about their time in Vietnam and was so funny listening to Lyn explain the meaning of the different horn beeps. I would highly recommend this course if just for the stories, our group was so friendly and the coffees were delicious, we can't wait to re create them at home.
The Coffee making class was great fun, very easy to make with only 3 couples enjoying the session, Ai was easy to follow as she took us through step by step. Definitely a must do while visiting Da Nang
One of our favorite experiences in Vietnam. If you're a coffee lover you need to do this workshop. Linh is so passionate about her coffee and is an excellent teacher. We had such a great time talking about coffee, life in Da Nang, and Vietnam in general. Don't skip this if you are in Da Nang
That was a really really good workshop, Lyn was really easy to get along with and everyone had fun. She was very clear in what she told us. The class was run very professional, everything was organized and ready for when she needed things. We all had the chance to make all the different coffees ourselves. I would highly recommend this to any of my friends Held in very nice premises and very professionally run.
It was amazing experienced. Ai is really friendly and made it super fun class, good vibes. Easy and clear instructions 💖
For the coffee workshop we enjoyed a delicious lunch. Everything was super fresh and delicious. The workshop itself is super fun to do.
The course is very informative, professional and well organized. Also well thought out and smooth! Jane was very friendly and had a great knowledge of coffee culture in Vietnam!
Super hyggelig eftermiddag, i dejligt selskab. Vi fik smagt 3 originale opskrifter på vietnamesisk specialiteter, det var alle en god oplevelse.
I recommend 100% this coffee making course, where you will learn how to make several iconic coffees from Vietnam. Thanks to Lyn and her friend for their kindness, we had a great time and learned a lot. At the end of the course you will even have the recipes written down so that you can easily make the coffees at home.
