The Marble Mountains are a cluster of five hills made from limestone and marble in Da Nang. It's also a well-known pilgrimage site with peaks, caves, tunnels and temples all just waiting to be discovered. Named after the elements metal, wood, water, fire and earth, Marble Mountains exist in a coastal area that is renowned for stone-cutting and sculpture about 9km south of Da Nang.
One of the most beautiful areas near Da Nang is the Son Tra Peninsula, which is not only famous for its amazing views, but it’s also lined up with things to do and see Linh Ung Pagoda, where 67 meters tall Lady Buddha looks down on the village and the city below and protects the people from wind and storms.
We enjoyed this I nformative, relaxing private tour. Our guide was very friendly, accommodating and full of knowledge. We were able to adjust the start time as requested. We appreciated the half day in order to get back and relax and have pool time during this humid season. I would highly recommend this experience.
Our tour guide was amazing. Lots of stairs. Watch for monkeys on monkey mountain! Our tour guide stopped wherever we liked along the way.
Book a guide (which we didn't..our fault)....or just take a much cheaper taxi..the ride itself was comfortable
The views are amazing, the cave is wonderful place to visit. I recommend everyone to go there. Especially to the lady Buddha temple.

The view is amazing, the marble mountain is fabolous. We took many amazing photos in the cave... the journey by taking stairs is tiring but at the end is worth to see..
Hue is a very knowledgeable, accommodating and professional guide. Our family of 12 did a private 8hr long tour of lady Buddha, marble mountain and old Hoi A town with him including lunch at a yummy noodle shop. He even made a reservation for our New Year’s Eve dinner at an exciting spot in old town. Highly recommend him!

The guide, Vu, was very friendly and patient. He speaks pretty good English and attentive to our needs. We enjoyed Hoi An, golden bridge and SunWorld. Lovely sceneries and the meals provided were all satisfactorily delicious.

We wondered whether to try and see the 2 mountains ourselves, or whether to take a guided tour. Thankfully we decided to take the guided tour, and especially so with Vu as our guide. Seeing the magnificent sites is only part of the experience. Having Vu to explain everything and give us an understanding of the religious aspects, both historical and modern, along with the culture surrounding the visits made this an exceptional 4 hour tour. Wpuld highly recommend Vu and thiz tour.
Vu was a fantastic guide, his knowledge was amazing, explaining everything in detail and answering all our questions. He never rushed us and was very patient when we needed to rest between climbing the many tall steps at Marble Mountain, be prepared for the burn. it is all worth it as you get to explore the temples in the caves and if you can push up several more steps you can enjoy a panoramic view. Vu was prompt to reply to email queries, happy to tailor the tour to suit and has excellent english. I highly recommend him when in the Hoi An/Danang area.
