Hoi An Or Danang To Hue Via Hai Van Pass Tour

Did an easy rider trip from Hue to Hoi An with the guys of Bui Travel. It was such a nice experience! At every stop Phu explained everything what we saw and could answer all our questions. For us the best stop was at the waterfall, there was literally no one else and it was so beautiful with very clear water.

I had an amazing journey with Phù and his team. They picked up all five of us directly from our hotel in Hoi An. Even though it was raining heavily during the rainy season they brought us raincoats and rain pants and double-bagged our luggage. They brought me and my family to Marble Mountain, Da Nang City Dragon Bridge, the Hai Van Pass (including stop at a very cool café), beach side restaurant for lunch, and a secluded waterfall to swim. They were professional, great drivers, and Phù was very knowledgeable about the local area and every place we stopped. This is hands down one of the most unique and memorable experiences I have ever had and can’t recommend it enough, especially with Phù and his team. Stop reading this review and book with them!

Amazing day trip with Han and An. Very very safe drive from Hue to Hoi A stopping in incredible spots for pictures. The guys took us many beautiful pictures along the way. We had really great day and stopped for lunch of seafood on the quiet beach. Super recommended!

Fantastic experience! Minh was a great driver and I felt safe throughout. Helmets are provided. The stops were all nice to see and we were able to adapt the itinerary to our needs (hotel pickup, skipping stops we've seen). The guide was excellent and the views were great! Stopped for delicious coffee and beautiful views throughout.

Great trip with Ron, got to visit all the big sights between Hoi An and Hue. Great drivers and flexible with where you want to stop. We went in a group of 4 and it was just us, not in a big group which was nice. Would reccomend to friends and family.

Our experience with Dan and the rest of the drivers in our group was great and we felt safe on the back of the motorcycles. Our group was picked up from Hoi An, it was super easy to coordinate through WhatsApp and the tour was easily customizable to what our group wanted. We all had a small carry on sized luggage strapped to the back of the motorcycle. Overall great way to spend the day and get from Hoi An to Hue!

WOW! We had the best time traveling from Hue to Hoi An with Quynh. Traveling via motorbike was definitely the way to go. We got to experience local villages and backroads that we never would have experienced elsewhere. Quynh made us feel very safe. His English and sense of humour was amazing, whilst his happiness was so contagious. Any questions we had were answered so well. The stops along the way, like the swim at the waterfall and marble mountains were definitely highlights. We will definitely be booking again with Bui Travel for future motorbike trips around Vietnam. We booked this through a roadsode booking from the street . There were 3 guys, My, Bop and Hai. They were very informative and great guides. They took us to a private waterfall. It was just all in all a great experience. 5 stars in every aspect. They stopped everywhere we wanted to stop for photos . The riders were very competent and safe on the road. I would definitely book them again. Great trip!!!

I originally found this company through my hostel in Hue and have been extremely impressed and satisfied with my experience. I have now used this company a total of three times as a means of traveling and touring around central Vietnam and seeing its attractions. My drivers Quynh and Tiung were well prepared during bad weather and very accommodating and patient for waiting for us when we were visiting attractions. The hai van pass was absolutely beautiful and I wouldn’t do it with any other company. They were accommodating with our itinerary and catered well to our interests. Definitely recommend!

This is my first time back to Vietnam after 50 years and feeling a bit lost. My cousin, who had been back before, recommended Bui Travel and I’m so grateful to Phu with the company. They have been so kind, patient, accommodating and wonderful to work with. Not only he recommended top notch itineraries, his people (driver and guides) were wonderful, going out of their way to make us comfortable and we were able to see/visit all the sites and then some. He took me to a mix of well-known spots and local hidden gems, making sure I got to see a lot without feeling rushed. We stopped for great photo opportunities, grabbed a quick local snack, and Trung shared interesting stories and tips about the area along the way. If you book this experience, I highly recommend requesting Trung. He’s a class act — professional, thoughtful, and genuinely fun to spend the day with. This was one of the most memorable highlights of my trip!

Great tour, it was a long day from 8.30am-4.30pm, Trung was my guide and he brought me to marble mountains (self guided), dragon bridge, hai van pass, hai van gate, waterfall, lap an lagoon scenic view, lang co beach for lunch, phu loc fishing village and then my hotel in Hue. Drinks and marble mountain ticket is included, except for lunch and Am Pu Cave. My huge 69cm luggage fits at the back of his bike, and the ride was safe. It rained when approaching hue city but Trung was prepared with full waterproof coats, jacket, pants, shoes. Be prepared by wearing long pants, gloves, mask to cover yourself from the scorching sun, else sunblock.

Trang was brilliant. We went to so many places I would never have thought to visit myself. He took great care of me, always checking in with me to make sure I am ok and offering snacks and drinks and offering to take photos. He's a very kind person and fully deserves 5 stars!

I had an incredible day exploring this area with Trung as my driver! From the moment he picked me up at my hotel, he made me feel safe and comfortable. The journey was breathtaking, especially the views from the Hai Van Pass, and swimming next to the waterfall was an unforgettable experience! The real highlight, however, was Trung himself. He was incredibly kind, careful, and always made sure I was comfortable—even helping me with my helmet every time! He also provided me with a hotspot, bought me water, and turned out to be a great photographer. We had some great conversations, and his positive energy made the trip even more special. If you’re looking for a reliable and friendly driver, I highly recommend Trung. I’m so glad I took this trip!

I had an absolutely amazing experience on this tour! I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves getting "off the beaten path." There were many interesting stops, and such variety in types of sites and views. It was somewhat customizable too; for example, I'm passionate about photography, so we stopped when I asked to take photos, even in the countryside. I also wanted to have fresh seafood for lunch, and we stopped at a delicious oceanfront restaurant (my tables was literally on a wooden wharf above crashing waves). My guide, Phu, was so accommodating, kind, knowledgeable AND an impeccable motorbike driver. I am not comfortable driving a motorbike solo in a new place, but I love being on a bike rather than a bus, so if you are like me, this is a great option. Also, I wanted my luggage to go by car, rather than bike (because I had some fragile art pieces inside), and he arranged it for me on the spot, at no extra cost.

The trip was amazing! We visited the host city, waterfall, fishermen’s town, marble mountains, sea and some more great sightseeing things. It was a day filling program (9-5). Quynh was a great driver and guide. We felt totally safe on the bike, his English was fluent and he new a lot about the country, culture, history etc. I would highly recommend to do the Hai Van Pass with Quynh! 👍 Also he asked a fair price for the tour!

We had a great day We visited Son tra and Hai Van pass Lang Co falls we saw many beautiful places, ate lunch near the beach,drank coffe on the top of the mountain. Very recommended

Amazing drive with some great views. Our tour guide Dan was so good and stopped at all the best points allowing us to take time to enjoy them. Lunch stop was very good, garlic and fried shrimp didn’t disappoint. The bikes were comfortable and fast so the drive was great!

Thoroughly recommend going on tour with Quynh. We did a two day tour with a home stay in the mountains. Highlights for me were the secret swimming hole at the waterfall, lobster on the beach, the hai van pass, the even better Ho Chi Minh trail through the mountains. My wife had Quynh as her driver and I rode solo. So cool having a guide that knows all the places to go….
