Hoi An Biking Tour, Duck Farm, Water Buffalo+ Basket Boat Ride

Fantastic experience. Danny was a lovely man, very knowledgeable and very friendly. All great value for money and a definitely memorable day.

Picked up from my hotel in Da Nang by a driver arranged by the tour operator. Nhuoc was my guide that brought me through the tour. It was a nice afternoon cycle (not recommended for new bike riders) through the farms and some of the streets. Weather was good though the sun was hot. Definitely bring a hat and shades. Visited the Vegetable Farm followed by the Duck Leader experience. The duck massage was an interesting experience but wouldn’t try the duck body massage that was offered. Even got to play with ducklings. Got to ride the Vietnamese Lamborghini (Water Buffalo). Ended the evening with the boat ride in the coconut forest. Tried rowing but was not able to get the boat to move straight.

Great half-day tour with Hanni, lots of fun cycling, basket boats, buffalo riding, duck massage and a local farm visit. Hanni was fantastic with our 4-year-old and provided a rear child seat. Relaxed, fun and value for money. Highly recommend!

Danny was our guide who was gracious enough to swap out coconut boat ride (as we have been before) to a pottery experience. He kept us safe as we cycling around Hoi an and the countryside. He made it special for us as we get to experience different activities and was knowledgeable about the gardens,the history and the places we visit. Duck farm was really really fun 😊 we experience the duck version of foot exfoliation and reflexology.

Danny was our guide for the tour. He was very kind to swap the coconut boat tour with a tour to the pottery village instead since we have already done the coconut tour on our previous trip. He brought us to the vegetable farm, and we also experienced a buffalo ride and a trip to the duck farm. We got around via bike throughout the entire tour so it was a good workout too.

We had a great experience! Our tour guide was very friendly and even recommended us a tailor shop that we purchased from. This tour was a blast, 10/10.

We had an absolutely amazing time with Vy on this tour. I think this was probably one of the best tours we have been on in a long time. You get to do so much in the space of 3-4 hours as well as see so much. She is so kind, caring and attentive to her guests. If you’re visiting Hoi An, you must do this tour! I had great time on this cycling tour with Mr.Vy. The route was peaceful with beautiful countryside view and Fresh air. Out guide Mr.Vy was friendly and knowledgeable.

Had an awesome time with Vy on this tour! Super relaxing countryside bike ride and vegetable farm tour where we learned some of the history behind farming. Also got a water buffalo ride and did a coconut river ride which was fun albeit a little touristy!

Really enjoyed the calm and scenic bike ride through Hoi An. Hanh, our tour guide, was super friendly & patient - and as a local has great knowledge about the city. She also took great pictures! It was fun visiting the farm, nibbling on some local produce, and riding the water buffalo was interesting. The coconut boat ride was relaxing. For those seeking thrill, suggest taking the spinning boat that is offered midway - but be ready to go in circles for 2 minutes!

A lovely tour set at a perfect pace for myself and my 4year old. Bikes available for children to ride on the back, Tham was a wonderful guide and so good with my daughter. Nice to visit the organic gardens and my daughter got to have a try at gardening and fed the fish. A nice easy flat bike ride. Tham was happy to stop at any point to take photos and provided information along the way. Provided ponchos when it briefly rained. Rode the water buffalo and then went on the basket boat. We were asked if we wanted the boat to spin and when I said no we had a leisurely float down the river. A superb morning out. A very accommodating tour, especially as it was New Year but they still ran the tour for us.

I can’t recommend this Hoi An countryside tour enough, and that’s almost entirely thanks to our incredible guide, **Hanh**. Such a great sightseeing for the family. My kids love it, they are able to explore the natural landscapes and farm animals. I am bringing 2 kids, 7 yo and 2 yo, not easy, but the tour guide Mr. Danny is patient and guided us safely throughout the whole journey. We were too tired at the end and they offered us a car ride back to our hotel after the coconut boat ride, instead of cycling back, such a good gesture and going the extra mile after notice that we are tired of cycling. Would definitely recommend this tour for family.

Aloha, We were in Vietnam for 8 days, this stay and this was one of our favorite tours of our trip. Vu was our tour guide and he was friendly and informative. He even gave us great recommendations for places to see and eat while exploring Hoi An. We enjoyed biking through the rice fields and farms of Vietnam. We got to interact with locals and tried amazing tea that is good for digestion. It was also a nice touch to ride a water buffalo and water a farm with a local farmer. We had a wonderful experience on the basket boats. The river was calm and relaxing but ended with a fun spin. Overall we highly recommend this tour and if you have the opportunity eat at Pho Xua, it was one of our best meals on our trip. L and L Travel with Aloha

So much fun seeing the country side and doing everything from riding a water buffalo to fishing for crabs! It was educational as much as it was fun!

The tour was not difficult and our group agreed the highlight was riding the water buffalo. It was a very short ride, less than 2 minutes but it was a great experience and fun. The other visits to a carving workshop and the a vegetable farm was purely information given by the guide Both did not involve interactions with the locals nor our participation in their activities. We skipped the bamboo boat since we had already done it earlier and were not keen for another ride. The route was not very scenic nor does it evoke a countryside feel. The guide was informative and can converse in good English.

Memorable experience. Tham, the lady tour guide was very kind and polite, explained everything to us during the tour and took care of us. We really enjoyed the ride as it brought us closer to the Vietnamese culture.

Danny was fantastic. Loved the tour! Biking allowed us to see so much of the countryside. So many activities were squeezed in, but it didn’t feel rushed at all.

Our tour guide was amazing! We were able to see the rice field, ride the water buffalo, and ride the boat in the river. He took photos for us during the tour. He even took us to town for us to get a tailored clothing. Best tour! Definitely do this tour if you would like a personal experience.

Mrs Tham led us on an amazing tour showing us the hidden gems of Hoi An. We rode a very sweet gentle buffalo, explored the organic gardens and paddled the coconut boats and had an overall fantastic time. We felt super safe on the roads under her watchful eye and guidance. We book the private Hoi An Day tour with biking, water buffalo ride, and coconut basket boat. Our tour guide Mrs. Tham was very considerate, caring and friendly. During the bike ride she made sure all riders were safe crossing busy intersections while exploring the beauty of Hoi An. The climax of this trip is the water Buffalo ride on “Xe” which translates to car. The basket boat ride was very peaceful and tranquil as we meander our way through the coconut lined creek. Even though the weather was a little bit wet due to light rain, my family had a great time with Mrs. Tham in the ancient city of Hoi An Vietnam.

It's so fun so you must try this when you come to Hoi an! You will miss so much fun and you will miss great experience when u not try this!

The guide was very mindful and respected our preferences. He was not pushy at all. The tour was very well paced and we were kept hydrated. I thoroughly enjoyed cycling around Hoi An village. The stops at the vegetable farm, buffalo ride and boat ride didn't feel very commercialised and everyone was so friendly. The water buffalo was very healthy looking and chonky. I hope our tips will partially go to maintaining its well being.
