Our tour guide is Oanh, she’s super cheerful, knowledgable and attentive. She guided us through every sites in our itinerary and also gave us free time to explore on our own. I learned a lot more about Vietnamese history through this trip with her. I really recommend this tour to everyone who base their accommodation in Hoi An or Danang. The time spent at each sites is well enough for you to enjoy at relax pace and you could see beautiful scenery during the journey to Hue. The itinerary is well planned, you get to see the tomb, pagoda and palace, all in one day, which is very inclusive for first time visitor. The group is small so the interactions between everyone are very lovely. I totally recommend! Plus their car is super comfortable!

Fabulous day. Our host Oanh was magnificent, very friendly and very informative!! Her English was excellent. She had a smile on her face from pick up to drop off and made the day fun!! The places we visited were interesting, the lunch was lovely and overall I would defo recommend!!

Oanh was an incredible tour guide, very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. She was always ready to take pictures or help you with anything you needed. The tour is very well organized, it's a very full day and it wouldn't have been as good without her pointing out all the small details and allowing us time to wander on our own.

Really good trip, our tour guide Oanh has very good English and huge knowledge. Trip was perfectly planned and organised, there was no rush, we had time for breaks, enjoying surrounding - I think it was the "slowest" trip we had in Vietnam. Really recommend!

It was my solo trip to Da Nang/Hue so I was little worried but our guide Vi made the trip full of laughters and great memories. It was a big group but she organized the schedule and arranged the transportation very well and made everyone laugh with her stories and jokes. She is also a great photographer - I was alone and having hard time taking photos but she always asked me for taking photos. Thanks Vi for all your endeavors - hope we can meet again!

She was extremely knowledgeable and explained the history, architecture, and cultural significance of each place in a very clear and engaging way. Trang, our tour guide, was honestly the highlight of our time in Hue. She’s adorable, bursting with energy, and has the best sense of humour, the kind that makes a full day of sightseeing feel effortless and fun. We booked the small group tour and had 8 people in our group. She took care of everything. We ate the most sumptuous lunch. She knows Hue inside out, shares stories in a way that’s engaging (never boring), and somehow keeps everyone smiling while still covering so much ground. Dao was super nice and caring during our full-day trip to Ba Na Hills. She helped us from the pickup instructions all the way through the day’s schedule. She also took great photos for us and explained the Sun World route map really clearly. We totally recommend her!

I recently took a guided tour of Huế covering the Imperial City, Khai Định Royal Tomb, Thiên Mụ Pagoda, the spectacular Hải Vân Pass (Highway 1), and Lập An Lagoon—and it was exceptional from start to finish. Our guide, Vi, was outstanding: deeply knowledgeable, unfailingly punctual, and remarkably patient. Her sense of humor added warmth and ease, making the day both informative and genuinely enjoyable. The logistics were handled flawlessly, with every stop perfectly timed and the entire itinerary flowing effortlessly. The driver was equally impressive—professional, smooth, and attentive—allowing us to relax and fully take in the scenery. The included meal was another highlight: authentic, well-prepared local food that complemented the cultural experience beautifully. Having taken multiple tours across Vietnam, this was easily the best. It struck a rare balance between history, culture, scenery, and comfort. I would recommend this tour without hesitation to anyone visiting Huế—and if possible, request Vi. She elevates the experience from excellent to truly memorable.

This trip was a wonderful excursion into Hue, with a fabulous driver and amazing guide, Thanh! Despite some rainy weather, we enjoyed the Hai Van pass, the emperor's tomb, a delicious lunch, the imperial city, and the pagoda. Thanh was extremely knowledgeable about each stop, the regions we passed through, and Vietnam as a whole, sharing fascinating details about history, culture, and more. She was very personable, excited to be with us, willing to go at our pace and not rush us through. We would highly recommend her! Our driver did a great job, even through fog, rain, and potholes. If you're interested in history, culture, and seeing some beautiful scenery, we'd definitely recommend this trip!

We booked a last minute trip to Hue and we were very impressed by our guide Trang. After 10 days in Vietnam she was the most talkative and funny person till now. We benefited for the best nature views and historical stories about the royal era of Vietnam.

Fantastic trip!! We had the absolute best time with Trang! We visited 6 different places where we were immersed in the imperial history of Vietnam. Trang was extremely knowledgeable with brilliant english and she told us all about the 13 emperors from the Nguyen dynasty. She took so many lovely pictures of our group and was always making sure we were all okay. Lunch was delicious with lots of local dishes. Would definitely recommend this tour.

I booked this tour very last minute, and I’m so glad it was still available. Hue ended up being one of the highlights of my Central Vietnam trip. I’d never done a large group tour before, but this one was smooth and well-paced. We visited the emperor’s tomb, the Imperial City and Citadel, Thiên Mụ Pagoda, and a peaceful lagoon with an ambush of sparkle — the pearls were ready before we were, and the complimentary tea was a nice distraction. All the main sights were thoughtfully timed and meaningful. Even though I booked late, both the company and the guide messaged me on WhatsApp like they were making sure I didn’t miss a flight. It felt super organized and kind of elite. Our guide, Vi, was great: calm, organized, genuinely funny (her jokes actually landed!), super clear, and incredibly informative. Her English was very good, which made everything easy to follow and more enjoyable. I’ve been on many tours, and she’s by far one of the best guides I’ve ever had. The included lunch was unexpectedly good. If I had more time, I would’ve loved to stay in Hue longer. It’s the kind of place that feels quiet on the surface but carries a lot of depth. One day was enough to see the highlights, but not quite enough to absorb it.

The place was a lot of fun to go to, it was very busy there, but our tour guide Sunny was amazing. She helped us get skip the line tickets which I highly recommend. We were able to walk around and see so much there! Sunny was our tour guide and she genuinely is the best! We loved having her!

The tour was amazing. Vi is our tour guide. She is very knowledgeable, funny and engaging. We were in group of 31 people but she was still able to make the tour fun. It was raining when reach at the imperial citadel its better to bring rain coat / umbrella if it’s raining season

The visit is a true lesson in history, there are numerous architectural treasures, the city is full of imperial heritage! The guided tour we’ve taken was mediocre, expecting to go through the pass only to be told that the tunnel is a shorter route, arrived at the imperial palace on a very hot day! The guide used everyone as a repetitive word every sentence to the point of making people annoyed and not paying attention at explanation! It would’ve been more informative paying for an audio guide! A basic lunch and one bottle of water were included in the price!

Our guide Vi made the whole trip even more interesting. She has a tremendous sense of humor and was very clear in her explanation of the locations we visited. I wish all tour guides are like her !!

I had a wonderful experience on this tour. Even though it was a medium-sized bus with 21 people, our guide, Trang, went the extra mile to make sure everyone was comfortable and engaged. She was always smiling, incredibly kind, and managed the group with such grace and professionalism. One of the highlights was the lunch stop — a beautiful, traditional Vietnamese setting with multiple open-air dining rooms, lush gardens, and charming red hanging lanterns that gave the whole place a magical touch. It felt authentic and peaceful, a real hidden gem. I was debating whether to explore the area on my own or book a tour, and I’m so glad I chose to go with this company. Not only did we cover the main highlights, but we also made several interesting stops at lesser-known spots that added so much value to the day. Trang also gave us plenty of great recommendations for what to do in the following days. All in all, it was a very complete experience with an excellent guide. Highly recommended!

Even though the day was cloudy and a bit rainy our guide Trang went out of her way to make it „sunny”. And she succeeded. She said lots of interesting things about the subject matter and had a sense of humour. Her attitude added to well organised tour which is definitely worth to be taken. It was the most amazing experience we have today from Lap A Lagoon to Khai Định tomb , lunch at Biet phu Thao Nhi restaurant to Thien Mu Pergoda to Hue Imperial City. Whlie the bus wasn't the most comfortable (small chair), the rest of the day was fantastic! Our tour guide, Hieu, was incredibly knowledgeable, especially about the Nguyen dynasty. He made the whole experience so interesting, and I learned so much. Lunch was delicious too! Despite the bus, I'd definitely recommend this tour. Hieu's attentiveness, like helping with the steps, made a big difference, and overall it was a great day.

Hue Imperial City tour with Lionel was a fantastic, knowledge-packed day!
