I booked here for our anniversary, our first time in Vietnam from Malaysia (I'm British but I live in Malaysia) - at first we were unsure about the hotel, but it turned out to be one of the favourite hotels we have stayed in. In Malaysia it's Muslim, so all the hotel buffets are halal. When we came to the buffet it was bacon and chicken sausage, we needed pork. After complaining, Tuan made pork daily. He even today came and brought me my own bowl of pork ribs. The bar is great and quiet, if you want a drink in peace, again it's run by Tuan. Honestly Tuan made our stay, he's incredible, listens and sorts everything and from being unsure about the place, when we come back we will only stay here and the reason, apart from it being 30 seconds from the beach, is because of the staff and Tuan.. and the braised pork ribs and 3 dollar cocktails brought to your room.
After reading many great reviews, I have decided to book this hotel. We paid about $200 USD a night for a family room for the three of us.
We were very disappointed. The room was very dusty, had a mildew smell, and the shower curtain had dirty stains. The furniture was old, and the fridge was in an awkward location, making it difficult to open the door.
Breakfast was basically not good, with poor-quality food. The elevators were old and slow. The gym was outdated, had a strong sweat smell, and some of the equipment was broken.
I feel like I was misled. The pictures online do not match the current condition of the hotel.
Definitely not going to recommend this hotel. Not sure if we were given the worst room, but it was a very unpleasant experience for us.
We stayed here for a week when we relocated from Australia to Da Nang as a family.
The room was clean and had a kitchen area, although there were no utensils provided. The staff were excellent , they spoke both Vietnamese and English, which made everything so much easier for us.
As the hotel is located in a tourist area, I can imagine they welcome many international guests every day. Two staff members really stood out to us: Henry and Suzie. They were always smiling whenever they saw us and took the time to explain things patiently and clearly.
If you’re looking for a family-friendly hotel with a pool, breakfast buffet, and a location close to the beach, I highly recommend staying here.
From the start, reception staff were excellent, from Tom greeting us wih a smile at the door every day to Katy assisting with tour information, Henry, Susie and Rinka on the front desk, and staff at the breakfast room, Mateou, and the girls. All wonderful.
One thing I would like to preface the following comment is with the lack of maintenance to the pool deck. It requires some attention, the sunshade does not operate, the decking is broken in one place and the pool ladder needs refixing to the deck.
I had an amazing stay at this hotel and would 100% recommend it to anyone visiting Danang.
A special thank you to Rinka at reception and her manager. They were incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely cared about making my stay as comfortable as possible. No matter what I needed, they were always there to help, support me, and go the extra mile.
The level of service I received was truly exceptional and made my trip even more memorable. Thank you for your kindness, professionalism, and hospitality. I will definitely stay here again when I return to Danang.
