This hotel and their staff provided 5 star service at a 4 star rate! Very impressed and satisfied with our 2 week stay here. They went above and beyond and the breakfast each day was absolutely amazing, providing a thorough and delicious variety of Western type foods, Asian foods and European foods to satisfy their guests. We will definitely stay here again!
We stayed at this hotel for 9 days, and we really enjoyed our stay! The hotel is conveniently located right near the beach—just cross the road and you’re there. There are also lots of neighborhood restaurants nearby, which made it easy to find good food. The staff were amazing, friendly, and always helpful. Cong Tan always made a delicious omelette for my partner, and Nora made us wonderful coffee. Their kindness and great service really made our stay special. We would definitely come back and stay here again! ❤️
We had a wonderful stay at Stellar Hotel. The location was very convenient, the room was clean and comfortable. Nearby you must try Cardi Pizzeria restaurant, we had dinner twice even we stayed for 2 days and absolutely loved it! The pizza & steak were super delicious with fresh ingredients. The staff were also very friendly and attentive. Highly recommended!
Just finished 10 nights at Stella Maris, had an amazing time, the staff are amazing and is by far the biggest highlight of the hotel. We paid extra for a high level room and were placed on the 14th floor, room was lovely and cleaned exceptionally well every day. There is some noise from outside, both traffic and building noise but being on the 14th floor did help. The pool and rooftop bar were fantastic, staff always happy to help, brining drinks over to your sun lounger and nothing was ever too much to ask. Breakfast was another highlight, lots of choice for every nationality available and everything was fresh and replenished throughout the morning. The free airport transfers and couples massage was a very nice touch offered by the hotel. Overall highly recommend this hotel, can assure you that you will have an amazing stay.
The views are genuinely stunning — the only reason this isn't a one-star review. Beyond that, the property does not justify $189 USD per night. Soundproofing is the single biggest failure. Construction noise bleeds through the walls all day. Other guests are audible from 5 AM as if there are no walls at all. Yes, nearby construction is outside the hotel's control — but investing in proper soundproofing is absolutely not. At this price point, guests should not be choosing between earplugs and sleep. The walls are simply not built for a hotel charging premium rates. Staff were unwelcoming and indifferent. Not overtly rude, just completely absent of warmth or initiative — the kind of service you'd tolerate at a budget guesthouse, not at nearly $200 a night. The in-house restaurant was a disappointment. Dinner there left a lot to be desired — fried rice arrived undercooked and over-salted, and the salad was best left untouched. For a restaurant attached to a hotel at this price bracket, the kitchen needs a serious rethink. Value: Soundproofing, attentive service, and decent food are the bare minimum at this price. None were delivered. The view is beautiful — but it shouldn't be the only thing carrying the entire stay. Would not return or recommend until soundproofing is genuinely addressed and both service and food quality see real improvement
