This was the first place I stayed at in Da Nang, and it set such low expectations for the rest of my trip. There was water damage, mold, and weird stains around the bed/the sheets. There were multiple days where I would open my door and find a gigantic cockroach or a huge worm wriggling around. I also saw cockroaches and ants (?) in my room.
The AC was also not working for the first couple days. I thought something had broken but it fixed itself?
I'm glad to say the bathroom seemed clean. In all honesty it felt like it was in a different hotel.
I couldn't wait to leave. 2 stars because it was just bearable enough that I didn't need to book another hotel. Not recommended.
Taking time to appreciate the staff of this hotel. We had a little inconvinience because of the aircon but it didnt last for 30 mins, it was fixed immediately and surprisingly, the staff handed out a full bottle of wine and plate of fruits.
Room is big, clean and well lit.
Receptionist Minh Thy was extremely welcoming and nice. Introduced me to wonderful places to visit other than the firework shows. Suggested I try different yummy foods. Cơm hến being one of the more memorable dishes I have tried!
After a whole month in the Deluxe room, I can give you a pretty thorough review.
I checked in late at night and was still greeted warmly. Staff is there 24/7, speaks good English, and genuinely wants to help. Big shoutout to Loc at the front desk, one of those people who's always in a good mood and will actually go out of his way to sort things out for you.
The room itself is really solid, and honestly the price is hard to beat for what you get. Best value I've found.
A few things that made a real difference day to day: the shower is great, proper hot water and strong pressure, which is rarer than you'd think. The bay window is beautiful and every evening the sunset lights up the whole room. The AC does its job well, which really matters in April when it starts getting seriously hot. There's also a supermarket 50 meters away for whenever you need something, and Grab drivers find the place with no issues.
Housekeeping comes every day, and there's staff plus a technician on call around the clock. I got to see that firsthand when I had a small bathroom issue, fixed in under an hour.

We stayed here for 4 nights and were very happy with our stay. Breakfast was plentiful and Vua looked after us very well when we were at the pool. Right across from the beach with plenty of restaurants and shopping. The Pho cafe attached to the hotel had some of the best Pho we’ve ever had. Definitely worth the price and would recommend.
