At 2,189.49 Philippine pesos a night booked through agoda as of September 29, 2026, this hotel is simply amazing. They have abundant toiletries, slippers, umbrellas, large rooms, a a balcony, fast wifi, walkable seaside, an incredibly delicious breakfast buffet, quiet rooms, thick and clean blankets. I stayed for 3 more nights at 1,100,000 Vietnamese Dong per night in a different room but the said rook is still amazing for its price. They offer laundry services at 100,000 Vietnamese Dong per kilogram. I checked out at October 3 in the morning. This hotel is highly recommended! I just hope they can prevent people from smoking in the breakfast buffet area. The buffet area is open air but smoking shouldn't be tolerated there.

Beautiful Location, But Needs Better Maintenance The location of Sandy Beach Resort is definitely its biggest strength. The property is massive, beautifully situated, and offers some truly stunning views. There is a lot of potential here, and with the right maintenance, it could be an exceptional resort. Unfortunately, the infrastructure and especially the rooms need more attention and upkeep. Even small details make a big difference when you’re staying at a property of this scale. One particular issue was the telephone in our room, which had significant distortion and was almost impossible to understand. We requested it to be fixed, and someone came to check it, but we were simply told that it was fine — unfortunately, the problem remained. The breakfast was also quite average and could definitely be improved considering the size and positioning of the property. Overall, I would give it 3 stars. The location, views, and sheer scale of the property are fantastic, but there is considerable scope for improvement in maintenance, room quality, service attention to detail, and breakfast. I genuinely hope the management works on these small things, because a property this beautiful deserves to be maintained accordingly. The potential is definitely there — it just needs a little more care and attention to detail.
I really wanted to like this resort, but the experience was our worst one in Vietnam. However, upon arrival, the staff already seemed uninterested and unhelpful. There were 3 people atbthe front desk, no other guests waiting and we still had to wait to check-in. We were told we received an upgrade, which I was looking forward to, but the excitement was short lived. The room location was perfectly situated, 2nd level, with a beautiful view out to the beach. However, the room itself was not clean. There were a sticky residue on the nightstand, which gave me the feeling that nothing else would be clean. The lampshades were tattered and broken, trash bin (to throw away toilet paper, as you shouldn't throw it in the toilet in Vietnam) was broken and rusted, curtains were stained and dingy. The bed itself was comfortable. Breakfast was an okay buffet, but nothing exceptional. We had better spreads at smaller hotels in Vietnam. The private beach is beautiful and clean. The pools were okay, but not spectacular. The small kiddy-pool was non-functional. Upon checkout, we waited nearly 15 minutes before we could leave, as they had to "check our room". This was the first time we experienced this in Vietnam (after traveling for two weeks) and they couldn't really explain what they were "checking" for. We had already spent nearly 10 minutes waiting for them to find cash change for the 2 drinks we did consume from the minibar. In the end, I ended up having to pay the 80k VND by credit card, as they couldn't find change for 500k VND. I mentioned it would have been a good idea to start the "check the room process" when I first approached the desk, rather than waiting until after the checkout was complete. They were non-plussed. The location is a 30 minute drive from Da Nang and there are not many food options in the area, so we took a Grab in to the city for dinner each evening. For a 4-star location I expected things to be better maintained, dtaff to be at least welcoming and friendly. I would not choose this location and would not go back to it.
Very good resort. I had a bungelow which was very nice, service was good. Breakfast was good. Pool and beach are wonderfull service is also very good. Now the downsides. I am Indian from Europe, i was surprised how many indian guest there was. Normally this would not be an issue. Unfortunatly they have no common sense. Very loud and eating their food standing near the buffet so it's blocked. You know it is bad when the indian restaurant has notes saying please be respectfull to the staff. The sauna was ok but not great. Some showers were broken and the jacuzzi was empy. The spa facilities felt overpriced given the maintenance issues, and the staff seemed overly pressured to solicit good reviews for their performance evaluations. It is always disappointing when maintenance issues and guest behavior take away from a beautiful location and good service. Hopefully, management takes steps to fix the spa facilities I still recommend the resort
Great place to stay. We were in a bungalow in front of the beach with a view of the sunrise. All staff were very helpful and friendly. There are two different swimming pools on site. The beach seems almost private with no people but guests of the hotel. The gym is very nice too. It could use some fans since there is no AC, but we went at 6am. The breakfast was good with Vietnamese food, omletes, sausages, several fruits, juices and bread to choose from. If I'm back in Da Nang I will definitely stay here again.
