Sanayen Villa And Residences

Great little boutique hotel with a very nice pool. Room with small balcony and well equipped kitchen. Excellent location, quiet area close to beach with plenty of local cafes. Staff were lovely, thanks Nguyen and Lea. There were negatives: there is building work next door and they do start early and go into the evening, but its a smallish build so might not take long. The roof terrace is just a smoking terrace snd quite precarious getting down with a 4 floors drop over small bannisters as you descend steep steps. There are no dedicated smoking zones so you get people smoking around the pool as you swim (this is a Vietnam problem with 40% of men smoking). We play musical chairs as chain smokers sit next to us in cafes! The pool and sauna are great however, and I didnt think a sauna in Vietnam was needed, but its nice to use it then get into the cold pool. Overall, great location, lovely people and good rooms with kitchens. Comfortable bed and hot shower. Check for building work.

The Sanayen Villa & Residences was a great place to stay and very reasonably priced. Super interesting entry design & courtyard with a small pool that can be seen from a number of the available rooms.

Rooms were clearly once very nice, but are now dated, broken and old. Could be nice again if the hotel invested in replacing damaged items and painted the rooms. Bed comfy. Quiet.

This hotel is not like the pictures. The staff is rude and keeps lying. The building next door and the building in front are both under construction, the noise is constant, and the pool is full of dust. I had the worst vacation in Danang. The price of the nearby big hotels is similar and they are much more convenient and friendly. The biggest problem with this hotel is the staff training. They keep lying while smiling. I was angry because they said and did things that were beyond common sense.
