Muong Thanh Luxury Da Nang Hotel

The hotel is not even near 5 * hotel more like a 3 or 4* hotel. Upon arrival, there was no one to greet us or take care of us or our baggage, even though we arrived in the middle of the day. We need to take care of our luggage ourselves. At the reception, there were 3 guest waiting, but there was only 1 receptionist, and she diden bothered to help or service the guests, so it took forever to check in. When I finally got checked in, we just got the key, and have to self guess we're to go to find the room, and struggle to get our luggage to room. The room "Grand Suite" was quite nice and spacious, a bit outdated but it was okey. The view was amazing. But the AC created a draft through the whole room even though it was at the lowest fan speed, so both I and our baby got a cold, and soar throat. I can't recommend this hotel, as they scam people by saying it is a 5* hotel. They don't even have a place on the beach with chairs or parasol, to relaxe and enjoy the beach.

Perfect stay! Amazing. Really loved the hospitality offered from the staff right from the checkin to check out. Completely helped us for all our request. We were travelling with infants and they went out of their way to fulfill all our requests for their food. Special thanks to Ms NHI and MS VY for helping us with our check in and check out facilities. Location of this hotel is extremely convenient as it is right opposite to the beach with in house bike rentals.

This feedback is based on my personal experience, and I hope the hotel uses it to improve in the future. Pros: Location: The hotel is in a prime location right by the vibrant, bustling beach. Room & View: My room was quite spacious, offering a beautiful view of the ocean, the coastal road, and a portion of the city right from the window. Rooftop Bar: The bar on the 40th floor provides a breathtaking view of Da Nang. Breakfast: The breakfast buffet offers a good variety of dishes. Areas for Improvement: Lobby & Front Desk Management: The lobby area is poorly organized. Guests often crowd and push around to pick up or return room keys without proper guidance from staff, which disrupts the check-in and check-out process for others. Pool & Beach Hygiene Policy: The hotel should remind guests to dry off and bring towels before entering the lobby and elevators. Noise Control for Tour Groups: Because the hotel frequently hosts large tour groups and delegations, noise is inevitable. The hotel should assign these groups to separate areas to avoid disturbing other guests. Buffet Dining Dress Code: There should be strict guidelines for entering the breakfast restaurant. For a high-end establishment with international guests, it is unacceptable for someone to walk into the buffet shirtless and soaking wet from the beach. Enforcing Smoking Rules: The hotel needs stricter enforcement regarding smoking in non-designated areas. I witnessed a guest traveling with his wife and young child smoking right in front of the elevator; as soon as the doors opened, he hurriedly shoved his cigarette into a nearby decorative planter. I hope the management listens to this feedback and makes necessary improvements to truly live up to the "Luxury" name.

We stayed here for 2 nights and had a wonderful experience. The location is excellent, with My Khe Beach right in front of the hotel, making it perfect for a relaxing beach getaway. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were extremely cooperative, friendly, and always willing to help, making our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend this hotel.
