Grand Sea Hotel

We came to Vietnam to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We stayed for just over three weeks and travelled to numerous different locations. It just happened that the Grand Sea Hotel was the one we were staying at on our 25th wedding anniversary, the staff were lovely and brought us a beautiful anniversary cake (free) and celebrated our day with us when we arrived. It was unexpected and brought a tear to my eye - very thoughtful of the staff. It is a very central place to stay just one street back from the beach which takes about a minute and a half to walk too. Staff were professional and dressed immaculately. Every staff member we spoke to was pleasant, gracious and helpful. Our breakfast was included each day and on the second day Duc had already organised the chefs to cook t our eggs just how we had asked for them on the previous day and added bacon that we had asked for on the previous day, Duc remembered what we wanted and we did not have to ask for it even though it was only the second day we had been there. Thank you very much Duc for looking after us, your English is fantastic and talking to you was very enjoyable. You represent the Grand Sea Hotel professionally and are a fine asset to the Hotel, thank you to all the staff, I would highly recommend staying at the Grand Sea hotel in Da Nang.

I would not recommend staying at this hotel. Although it is listed as a 4-star property on Booking.com, my experience was far below the standard expected of a 4-star hotel. The cleanliness was very poor. The room did not feel properly cleaned, and the overall hygiene throughout the hotel was disappointing. In addition, the hotel had an unpleasant smell, which made the stay even less comfortable. Another major issue was the constant noise every morning from guests in the neighboring rooms, making it difficult to sleep or relax. The hotel also lacks basic amenities expected from a 4-star property. There was no iron available in the room, and when I requested one, I was told I could only use it for 15 minutes, which was very inconvenient. The breakfast was also disappointing. It offered very limited choices, and the quality was far below what I would expect from a 4-star hotel. Overall, this hotel did not meet the standards of a 4-star property in terms of cleanliness, comfort, facilities, or food. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend it to other travelers.

This accomodation is of basic standard. Perfect if you dont expect quality. Firstly no welcome drink offered, no bar open and nothing to say about a resturant. The buffet breakfast is repetitive in its offerings and possibly lacking in variety for different tastes. Mainly vietnamese foods that i myself dont eat for breakfast. Just stuck to toast and egg. Room being made up each day wrre hit and miss, generally tidy and bed made but different standards daily, sometimes sheets tucked well other times needing to re make bed ourselves. Deffinitly no sound proofing, could hear every noise from street and adjoining rooms from children screaming in foyer to ringing door bells and lots of yelling. On x2 occasions we lost water, when we asked service desk was asked if we needed cold water....like really. However they did fix it Pool very refreshing but asking for towels was needed. Rooms were out dated, windows with screws falling out, curtains not covering windows for complete blockout, louncge chair very uncomfortable. Location was fantasic, close to beach and local resturants and cafes. Grabs easy. to access. If you dont have high expectations than this is convienient and will do the job.

Booked 2 nights here after being incredibly disappointed by our previous hotel and needing to leave. Room and view were amazing even when obscured by surrounding buildings. Was less than impressed with the guests in the next room who had no control over their screaming children who were up at all hours of the night in the hallway ringing doorbells. However when this was addressed with Management, it was resolved and the next night they were quiet. Staff helpful and friendly. Front stairs are not easy to navigate with luggage however there is a lift in the car park that you can use.
