Mixed Experience – Great View, Poor Service We stayed at the Eden Hotel in Da Nang and the view from the hotel was truly amazing — one of the highlights of our trip. The location and scenery deserve 5⭐️. Unfortunately, the service did not match the 5⭐️ rating. The staff were rude and unhelpful, and our checkout experience was unnecessarily stressful (because after check out rush to go airport for departure). We felt as though we were being accused of stealing property, which was both insulting and a waste of time. For a hotel that claims luxury standards, this kind of treatment was very disappointing. Overall, while the hotel offers stunning views, the lack of professionalism and courtesy from the staff overshadowed the experience. I would not recommend it unless management improves their service quality. If you really want to enjoy the view at this hotel, please check the room checklist before checking in.

I enjoyed my stay, and it’s a good hotel, but it really is a 3.5 star hotel, not a five star resort like others on the block. As long as you have that expectation, this is a good stay. The rooms are nice and the location is the best in Da Nang.
I am a local Vietnamese traveling to Da Nang. Here is why I rated this hotel 3 out of 5 stars. Unlike some other reviews, I found the beds to be fine and clean (the mattress is a bit thin and firm, but acceptable enough for a good night's sleep). The view from my room was pretty and lived up to the "Ocean View" name. However, the windows were worn out and dirty, the desk and tables were dusty, and the walls do not block sound very well, making it easy to hear noise from outside. It seems they do not maintain the room facilities very well. The location of Eden Hotel is perfect. There are several convenience stores nearby and plenty of bars for evening entertainment. I have to admit the location is ideal and very close to the city center. I regret having to mention this, but it truly needs improvement: the service. The reception staff were polite and provided everything we needed. Unfortunately, a few of the hotel porters displayed disrespectful and unwelcoming behavior towards us. As Vietnamese guests, we were made to feel uncomfortable in our own country. They put on irritated expressions, handed us a luggage cart, and stared at us without offering to help carry our bags, forcing us to do it ourselves. What frustrated me most was seeing their attitude change completely when greeting foreign guests - it is disappointing to experience this kind of bias as a local traveler. The breakfast buffet was also disappointing. The restaurant opens at 6:30 AM, and when I arrived around 7:30 AM, most of the food was already cold. I hope the hotel management addresses heating issues for the food service. I cannot recommend this hotel. It might be an acceptable choice for foreign tourists, but certainly not for local travelers. Thanks for reading. Da Nang is a wonderful city to visit, and I wish everyone a great trip!
Check in/out: 0 star. Room services: 1 star. Breakfast: 0 star, extremely bad with atmosphere ( no air con, too crowded, hot, dirty), bad and lack of foods and drinks. The only reason why this hotel (3 stars) is crowded: selected by tourist companies by their commissions, guests have no choice until check in. Conclusion: Keep far far away and read review carefully before booking. Not recommendation for family, group friends, couples, solo...
Who on earth decided to call this a five-star hotel? They shouldn’t be allowed to call themselves a five-star hotel. It’s absolutely not up to international standards. If it were a five-star hotel, they wouldn’t have so many Indians sitting on the steps at the entrance. When I arrived, I was very disappointed to see this—it really spoiled the view. Also, in a five-star hotel, there would be labels stating that the flip-flops and toilets have been disinfected. Bathrobes would also be provided from the outset. Room service said, ‘I’ll bring one if you need it.’ Of course I need one! There aren’t even any nightdresses. The shampoo is poor quality, and as there’s no conditioner, my hair ended up dry and brittle. A five-star hotel should have a full range of amenities. There aren’t even razors or shower caps. Just two small plastic bottles of water are not enough for the capacity of two people. The only drinks available are instant coffee and tea bags. And moreover, the cushions and pillows smell. There’s no way this is a five-star place—no way. Given that reviews mention the poor service, why won’t the management try to improve things? If they don’t make any changes, you’d better change this Google rating to two or three stars. Everyone, don’t be fooled. With such a lovely ocean view right in front of you, why is the window design so poor? You can’t even sit down and look at the beach. The sea-view rooms have a fantastic location indeed, but that’s not down to the hotel’s efforts. It’s just simply the nature of the site.
