Draco Hotel & Suites

The hotel was clean and tidy, although it does feel a little older. It’s located in a really busy area, so there’s always a lot going on around the hotel, which I actually enjoyed. The beach is only about a 5-minute walk away, and the breakfast buffet was really good with plenty of tasty options. Vy was especially kind and helpful throughout my entire stay. She was always willing to help whenever I needed anything, and I really appreciate how welcoming and attentive she was. Overall, I had a wonderful and relaxing stay here. Thank you to the entire hotel staff for taking such good care of me, and a special thank you to Vy at the front desk for being so sweet and helpful. ❤️

The hotel has a great central location in a very tourist-friendly area with many shops and restaurants nearby. We really liked this, as almost everything was easily reachable on foot, and the beach was just around the corner. The reception staff was friendly and helpful, especially Anh, who kindly took care of our requests and always tried to assist us. His warm and attentive service was definitely a positive part of our stay. We stayed in a Sea View Suite, which offered a beautiful view of the city. One of the highlights was being able to enjoy the view from the bathtub, which made the experience feel quite special. However, the sea view was only partial, as there were several buildings between the hotel and the ocean. It would have been a nice addition to have some seating on the balcony to fully enjoy the view and the outdoor space. The room itself and especially the elevator are quite dated and would benefit from some repairs and updates. Although the design looks nice, it does not feel as high-end as it may appear at first glance. The cleanliness could also be improved. There was a safe in the wardrobe, which we had some difficulties with at the beginning, but it worked properly after all. The room was quite noisy, and you could hear sounds from outside, but it was not to the point where it prevented us from sleeping. One thing that was quite disturbing was a construction crane about one block away with very bright spotlights that shone directly into the room at night. The cleaning staff were often quite loud early in the morning and frequently woke us up by knocking on the door. Overall, the hotel was okay. Considering the price-performance ratio, it was a reasonable choice, especially because of the excellent location. Despite some areas that could be improved, we can still recommend this hotel with a clear conscience. With some renovations, better sound insulation, and more attention to detail, it could become an even better experience.

The air conditioning doesn’t cool the room at all, making it unbearably hot throughout the entire stay. The swimming pool ruined a swimsuit I was wearing for the first time, leaving it covered in green stains caused by metallic deposits in the water. What disappointed me the most was the staff’s response. I asked for help, but they completely refused to assist, telling me to buy the cleaning products myself and wash it on my own. They also promised that the manager would resolve the issue the next day, but that never happened. We also rented a motorbike that was in very poor condition. It was handed over with the fuel tank almost empty, and the engine kept jerking and randomly stalling while riding, creating a serious safety risk. Overall, the service was nothing special. It was acceptable, but compared with every other hotel we stayed at during our trip through Vietnam, it was far below the standard in terms of hospitality and customer care. I cannot recommend this hotel under any circumstances. There are much better options in the area offering significantly better quality and value for money.
