Unbeatable Location & Surfing spot The absolute best part of this property is its location. Situated right in front of the beach, it offers stunning ocean views and a vibrant night atmosphere. Surfer’s Paradise: The waves directly out front are fantastic for anyone who loves surfing and big waves! Additionally, convenience is top-notch—tons of great bars, local seafood spots, and restaurants are all within comfortable walking distance.

We had a wonderful stay at DLG Hotel in Da Nang. Our room was exceptionally spacious—much larger than we expected—with a separate bedroom, a separate sitting area and a bathtub. The location was perfect: we only had to cross the road, and we were on the beach within two minutes. The staff were very friendly and professional throughout our stay. The breakfast was excellent every day, with a wide variety of fresh food and something for everyone, including freshly made soups. I also appreciated how attentive the team was in clearing away used plates while guests were still dining. The two swimming pools were lovely, and the fitness facilities were a great addition. A special mention to Mr. Phuoc, who drove us from the hotel to the airport. He was very kind and professional. Although he didn’t speak English, he made an effort to communicate with us using Google Translate. He even made me smile by saying I looked like an American actor. We had no complaints and would definitely recommend this hotel.

A Disappointing Experience at DLG Hotel, Da Nang | 0/5 I stayed at DLG Hotel, Da Nang, in Room 6007, and unfortunately, my experience fell far below the standards expected of a five-star property. When I requested room cleaning, I was told it was not possible, so I asked them to clean at least the washroom. What surprised me was how a property claiming five-star hospitality could dismiss such a basic guest request. However, the most disappointing incident occurred during checkout, when I was questioned about a supposedly missing towel in front of other guests. I generally carry and use my own towel, so being questioned in this manner was particularly upsetting. Rather than first verifying the matter with housekeeping, the reception chose to raise the issue directly with me. The towel was eventually found after a phone call, yet not even a simple apology was offered. Luxury hospitality is not merely about the property or the price charged; it is about dignity, discretion, and respect for every guest. Unfortunately, this experience lacked all three. I sincerely hope the management reflects on how such situations are handled. To my fellow Indian travellers, I would encourage you to explore other established hotel brands in Da Nang, including Marriott, before making your choice. For me, the experience was deeply disappointing, and I would not consider staying at DLG Hotel again. A five-star label should come with five-star conduct.

**★★★☆☆ Underwhelming – More Function Centre Than Resort After fantastic stays in Hanoi and Hoi An, DLG Da Nang was unfortunately a disappointment. The hotel looks impressive and has a great beachfront location, pool, gym and large rooms, but it lacked the warmth and hospitality we had experienced elsewhere in Vietnam. We both agreed it felt more like a large function centre or business hotel than a holiday resort — quite cold and detached. The main restaurant was closed during our stay, so we ate in the reception/bar area. The food itself was good but arrived cold, and our drinks didn't arrive until halfway through dinner. Communication with staff was difficult even for basic requests, and at one point we watched another guest repeatedly calling “excuse me” while staff nearby continued chatting. Even the bar selection was surprisingly limited for a hotel of this size. Nothing was individually terrible, but collectively it just kept underwhelming us. Considering the price, we had much warmer, more attentive and enjoyable experiences at smaller hotels elsewhere in Vietnam. Great location and good facilities, but unfortunately not the resort experience we expected.
