This was an incredible experience! The hike is challenging, but totally doable, you just have to take your time - our guide was extremely patient with us, and allowed each person in the group to move at their own pace. She even walked my wife down to the basecamp when she was not feeling well, and then made her way back up to meet us as we were making our descent. Totally worth the trip!

The chain of mountains striped with colors will appear little by little, until we reach the observation point at 5000 m.a.s.l. Its geological formations will reveal all of its great splendor. Vanessa was kind and encouraged us to take our time. She checked on us to make sure we were OK during the hike. Great guide.
If you have condition go by walking if not go by horse. Manage your expectations, remember almost photos use filters
Absolutely wonderful experience. Teo was the most kind and most informative. We learned a lot about Peru and the mountains. He is also very patient and helped us conquer the mountain at our own pace. He is also a great photographer! Thank you so much for this amazing experience Teo 😊
I recommend this tour, a wonderful experience, incredible views seem to be from another planet. I made the trip with Viajes Pacifico and an exceptional guide called Ismael, very experienced and passionate about his work with a wide knowledge of the entire area!!
The experiencie was amazing!!!!! Is a wonderfoul place, is a beautiful and espectacular mountain!! !!
The best part was the view in the top of the mountain, the travelers should have a good condition to walk the last 500 meters. My guide was Lució Villegas, he works in ‘Viajes Pacífico and Megatravel).
David was an exceptional person He was always answering our questions and always helping us with everything, even helping us with our photos !!!!!! We are extremely happy with David's recommendations and his service. Definitely we wil recommend him and tell our friends and family about our experience.
The whole experience was great, such a great guide Ángel, always keeping the pace with great attitude and knowledge throughout the whole tour, widely recommended
The guide was great and always willing to help, the place is beautiful, food was good. Landscapes were amazing we had a beautiful sunny day!
All travel had an satisfactory experience. The guide were always attended to all about us, in gentle and friendly way.
If I could give them negative stars I would. This company put my life in danger as well as my sisters with their poor choices. I will never ever use this tour guide and their partners Indus Travels ever again, and you should not either. Here is what happened - 1. Itinerary does not state to wear snow gear and tour guides on day one and day before the excursion all said to wear a light jacket. No one mentioned the mountain would be covered in ice and snow. I did not appreciate this lack of information 2. We were to depart at 3am but tour guide shows up at 3:15-3:20 - this was an inconvenience as we were told to be ready at 3am. 3. My biggest concern is that after a 3 hour drive we get to the mountain and attempt to get up the mountain. The roads were covered in Ice causing us to slip and slide on the road on 3 separate occasions. This was absolutely unacceptable as it put all our lives in danger. My sister and I both requested to the tour Guide and driver that since the roads are covered in ice we do not feel comfortable continuing to attempt to get up the road. We were told it’s fine we can make it up no worries. The tour guide kept getting out of the car to go push it up the mountain. 4. Continuing up the mountain we slipped again and this time slipped into a ditch. A local found us and called for help and that is when they came down to help push the car out of the ditch and up the mountain. The roads were so icy even the locals were slipping and I have this captured in one of the photos attached. We were so scared and extremely uncomfortable we jumped out of the car as they attempted to get it out of the ditch. 5. It took us a total of 5 hours to make it to the top of the mountain. Once we got there it was snowing and raining and the tour guide said it’s impossible for us to see the rainbow mountain. We waited in the car for about 45 more minutes waiting for the sun to come out. After waiting we got out and walked about 30 minutes before turning back and heading to the car. The mountain was covered in ice and it was impossible to hike especially without the proper shoes. The tour guide said to us did my company not call you and tell you to wear snow gear? I told him know no one told us conditons will be like this. All we were told was to bring a light jacket and sunscreen and to wear a one or two layers since it will get hot later in the tour. I asked two tour guides in advance and both said the exact same thing and one actually told me the weather is just like at Machu Picchu. 6. We left and headed back to Cusco. Our tour guide had an errand to run so he left us with the driver to take us to our hotel. The driver did not take us to our hotel, he dropped us off somewhere about 6 blocks from where our actual hotel was. Said he couldn’t get around the traffic and it was best for us to walk. This is absolutely unacceptable. It took my sister and I another hour to walk back to our hotel. This entire experience is unacceptable! There was lack of information and communication and I do not appreciate at all our lives being put in danger! I am demanding a full refund for the rainbow mountain excursion. Guess what they did not give me a refund at all!!! hey did not even reach out to me once, they communicated through Indus travels and all they said was they refuse to give you a refund. Poor customer service, and terrible company.
The excursion was great, it is a place full of colors and the proposal to go up by motorcycle is good because the hike is demanding! We all agreed and went up together by motorcycle. Great idea from the guide Lizandro who wanted us to enjoy the charm of the place, then we descended walking.
Beautiful tour, friendly and attentive guide.
Excellent excursion, Lisandro was our guide, always attentive to the group!!!
A unique experience! The guide Lisandro was very kind.
Excellent experience. Beautiful landscapes. We believe that it would be important to warn the people who will take the excursion the level of demand for lack of oxygen.
The landscapes were amazing, even more with the snow! A little slippery, but it was worth it. The guide was excellent, very attentive and dear!
Indescribable Unique place with unique beauty Challenger But the view rewards everything We didn't have any setbacks Everything perfect
An entirely magical experience. If you are in Peru, this must be experienced. An incredibly nice trip. Beautiful landscape. This is strongly recommended. Once you've got in and up the top, I recommend you go back via Red Valley. It's a must to get with. The view there is completely epic. Incredibly beautiful. Look at the pictures I put on.
Teo Rossel and the whole team was excellent. Very friendly people, delicious food, beautiful scenery. Highly recommended. Anyone who has the opportunity to go to Peru should go with this team
It was a wonderful experience thanks to the ROSSEL travel guide Pacifico, super attentive, very professional, it is a computer running, super super super recommended Teo Rossel , I will return with group again and request to be our guide again
The attention of Teo Rossel excellent, the schedules very punctual, his experience managed that we could appreciate the mountain in its maximum splendor. Highly recommended
An extraordinary and unforgettable experience, very good care and the landscapes are an impressive thing
My favorite part was the beautiful postcards that nature offers us. The guide was very attentive and supported us in everything and delicious food. A walk to remember
My favorite part was, actually, the scenery, getting there and seeing everything around, the snow and the arid part of the mountain, where you see the 7 colors, wow!!!!!
A wonderful experience for those of us who don’t usually climb mountain is a heavy thing but in general it is worth every step 👣 until we reach the top 🏔🧗♂️ the guide Manuel luna was on the lookout for us at every moment an excellent person super recommended for every excursion or guide you have
A great experience that took me and the kindness of my guide Manuel, always attentive and giving time to recover and the wonderful visit
The mountain views are breathtaking. A landscape that cannot be described in words. Excellent service from the guides
The view from the beginning of the hike to the top of the mountain is amazing, it is hard to get to the top but it is worth it
Manuel Unda was our guide in this incredible experience, a journey unmatched and full of natural beauty everywhere
It is a place worth visiting; you can see a magnificent view. There is opportunity to take pictures with the alpacas and locals in their traditional costumes. Guide Manuel Unda was giving us recommendations and waited for those of us who were slower on the walk.
I definitely recommend Teo Rossel as a guide for Vinicunca , he assists you at all times , with him you will have the best photos and despite being more than 4000 km away from my country he made me feel at home. Thank you very much Teo for your attentions, you see that you love your work.
Excellent once in a lifetime experience, breathtaking views and a challenging but comforting hike, Teo with an excellent attitude and patience, we feel very confident at all times
I made the colorful mountain excursion, Teo and John's Service and attention was amazing. They always kept an eye on everyone and never left us behind, Teo gave us several tips to make the tour a success. I highly recommend the Service
The most wonderful experience I have had during this trip to Peru, thanks to the tours and the guides who have been incredible, beautiful people, very professional who make it worth the trip and who are deviant to attend you and do everything necessary to enjoy it. Thanks Rossel! Excellent guide.
The experience was magnificent, the colors that can be observed are incredible, the horses facilitate the walk a lot, if you are not used to such a strong walk or the height.
It is difficult physically, but with the right guide and with the right directions it becomes a once in a lifetime experience! Our Aracely Guide the best!
Amazing activity, very wearying and demanding, but worth it when you reach the top; it was a great experience thanks to our guide Araceli
It was a beautiful experience, Carlos an excellent tour guide. We highly recommend it to all
Everything was very well coordinated... My respect and thanks for your support in such a nice experience....
Excellent excursion. The guide and driver very well. Very nice mountain. It's an unforgettable experience.
Great!!! Wonderful experience the whole trip to Peru, the guide Teo de Turisviajes took care of all the details. It is tired but very satisfying.
The place is amazing. It’s not just the mountain; since the start of the hike you have sensational landscapes to delight in. To live the experience to the fullest, I am convinced that you have to walk; only then can you complete that feeling of adventure (if you have no condition you can pay for a horse to carry until the last slope that has to be climbed). We did this hike with Travel Pacific and the Service was really satisfying, punctuality, attention and everything one can expect; even exceeding expectations. Our guide, Angel, very prepared, makes the walk enjoyable, carries oxygen tank and other emergency attachments to help if necessary (which was not, fortunately). Fully recommended, both the visit and the agency. Do not hesitate to come to them if you require it.
It is very impressive the size of the mountains, excellent this tour. It is hard to climb the mountain but since you arrive it is worth the effort. The guide Teo super friendly, I recommend it.
Spectacular view, very tired the climb, wear tennis for hiking, scarf , hat and well warm, when they reach the top there are gusts of very freezing wind. Thanks to Teo Rossel, Carlos Huis and Magaly from Megatravel for their attention. Excellent Service and coordination of tours.
The best is when you reach the top! It's very worth it after all the journey, of course.. You must be warm because it's very cold upstairs. Teo Rossel guide is the ultimate, he was always accompanying us and assisting us in what we needed and is certainly the best guide!
Excellent trip 100% recommended. Teo Rosales guide super professional and friendly. I have to take this tour again.
