Sacred Valley Vip Tour With Maras And Moray

I travel internationally several times a year. This day trip into the Sacred Valley with guide Jacob and driver Julian was one of the best tour experiences I’ve ever had. They were both very down-to-earth, friendly, kind, and sincere. I felt very comfortable with them, and I had a wonderful time seeing various sites – all in one day. Jacob reached out right away after I had booked to let me know the itinerary. I had previously used another tour company to go to Machu Picchu, and they were slow to get in touch with me about plans so I really appreciated Jacob‘s proactiveness. I would love to go back to Cusco and do another tour with both Jacob and Julian!

We did the Sacred Valley VIP Tour with Maras & Moray on Oct 12 with TreXperience and had a fantastic day. Our guide Juan was very knowledgeable and supportive throughout — he explained the history at Pisac, Maras salt mines, Moray terraces, and Ollantaytambo so well, and made sure everyone was comfortable. The itinerary was well-paced, lunch in Urubamba was great, and the views were incredible. Highly recommend Juan and TreXperience for anyone visiting Cusco!

I went on the sacred valley day tour with 5 of my friends and our experience was amazing. The stops we made were all fun ,interesting, beautiful, or all three. Juan Miranda was our tour guide and I don’t think we could have had a better option. Not only was he personable & knowledgeable about all of the stops, but deeply passionate about the sites we visited and culture we experienced.

We had an absolutely fantastic day on our Sacred Valley tour, and a huge part of that was down to our tour guide, Juan. He was brilliant from start to finish, incredibly knowledgeable and informative, and explained the history and culture of each place we visited in a way that was really interesting and engaging. You could tell he was passionate about what he does, and he made sure we got the most out of every stop along the way. Juan went above and beyond to make the day special for us, and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide. He was friendly, welcoming and always happy to answer any questions we had. The Sacred Valley is an incredible place to visit, and having Juan as our guide made the experience even more memorable. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area, especially if you get the chance to have Juan as your guide!

Today was our much-awaited Sacred Valley tour with Maras and Moray. Amadeo (guide) was superb! He was so knowledgeable (he was an archeologist ) and it helped that he shared photos and gave us many options for how to spend our time and told us about some things to do in Cusco. Jaimie our driver was wonderful and helped with our bags and we always felt safe in some challenging driving conditions. Mil gracias for setting up this wonderful trip for us. We all learned so much about Peruvian history , saw so many beautiful things and enjoyed the variety of experiences.

I booked this tour online directly via TreXexperience with the friendly and efficient help of Acdiel. Our guide, Pamela, was great! She was very communicative coordinating the exact pick-up spot and time the night before. During the tour she provided a lot of interesting information about the sites we visited, using additional material (e.g., images) to support her explanations. Lastly, what really stood out compared to other guides is that she provided also some quick, interesting facts and recommendations during the drive from site A to B. Normally, guides just sit back and relax (or even sleep ...) Also the driver (Risly?) was very friendly and professional, driving our mini-van always safely from A to B. The tour itself was also spectacular; the archeological sites, the surroundings, the llama/alpaca farm, and the buffet-style lunch. However, it's a real full day tour (7:00am to 7:30pm) and can feel a bit rushed at times. If this bothers you, you might consider two sperate tours. In short, I'll definitely book again the TreXexperience.

We did a 1 day sacred Valley tour with TrExperience. It was a full day visiting many historic sites that was made even better due to the narration by our guide Katie. Juan was our guide and he’s extremely nice and helpful! He made sure we have a smooth pickup and dropoff, and will make sure you get to your destination on time. He’s also very knowledgeable and from Cusco, so he knows a lot of the history and gave really good introductions.

Pamela Rivas was a wonderful guide. She was very informative and did a great job teaching us the local culture. I highly recommend her for anyone doing a tour around Cusco!

We were happy to find and attend this spiritual and fantastic journey with Trexperience. This amazing 1 day tour was not only VIP in its name but in real as well. We're lucky to have such a wonderful tour guide as Juan. He was not only talented and good at sharing knowledge about the sights we visited but through his view we could get a real authentic insight into the spirituality and wisdom of the inkas and pre-incas.

Kenny was terrific! Friendly, knowledgeable, and fun. He was also attentive to our group, keeping us all together, and pointed out many details that we certainly would not have noticed without him. We came away with much more knowledge of the Incan and Spanish history in the “navel” of Incan civilization. It certainly did not hurt that the weather was blindingly beautiful! Thank you!

Pamela was a great guide who handled everything expected and unexpected with compassion and grace. This is one of the few tours we found that provided Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu in a 2-day trip, saving the return to Cusco each day. That alone was a huge bonus!

Juan was an exceptional guide. From the very beginning, he demonstrated outstanding coordination and communication, thoughtfully adjusting our itinerary to help us acclimate to the altitude. He was kind, courteous, professional, and an absolute pleasure to spend time with. Visiting the Salt Mines and the Inka terraces was spectacular and truly one of the highlights of our trip to Peru. As a thoughtful gesture, he gifted each member of our family an Inka cross, a meaningful keepsake that we will always treasure. What made the experience even more special was the way Juan connected with our teenage son, Levi. He patiently answered every question with genuine enthusiasm and pride, inspiring his curiosity and making him feel included throughout the journey. If you’re looking for a knowledgeable, caring, and passionate guide in Peru, we cannot recommend Juan highly enough. He made our visit unforgettable. A special shoutout to our driver, Jose Luis Mesa, who was a champion behind the wheel navigating the windy roads with great care & attention.

Was such a pleasure to have Charly guide us along the high points of the Sacred Valley! Super knowledgeable, with lots of stories about each site and a real passion for all the spectacular accomplishments of the Incas - his people. Both my daughter and I felt his passion and desire to share these beautiful treasures. And we got to see a LOT of those treasures .. this is not a short tour! We started with a convenient pickup outside our AirBnB at 7AM and finished with a drop-off back to the same place a little after 7PM. But well worth it, and wonderful to be part of a diverse group of about 10 people, from North America, Europe and Australia. Couldn't have asked for a more fun or friendlier crew to explore this part of Peru!

They both went above and beyond to provide the best experience possible and were always flexible when needed. Katie was amazing at sharing the history, culture, and stories of her ancestors at each of the sites we visited, which made the experience even more meaningful. Diego was an excellent driver who worked hard to get us where we needed to go safely and efficiently, minimizing our time on the road whenever possible. If you’re looking for a great tour company to show you the best of Peru, this is it. We highly recommend them!

This tour was great. Pamela our guide was very knowledgeable and very pleasant. She was very attentive to our needs. Some of us were a little slower and older than the others in our group. She was very dedicated to our group. I felt she went the extra mile to make our trip memorable and fun. At 72 with a good guide and walking sticks with rubber tips I felt it was not too late to visit Peru. It was challenging but so worth it.

Our Sacred Valley tour with TreXperience was one of the highlights of our entire Peru trip. Charly was an absolutely fantastic guide for our Sacred Valley tour. He’s a historian who really brought the region to life, connecting the ancient stuff to his own heritage and making it feel super personal. Even though our group was totally exhausted from a packed week of traveling, Charly’s enthusiasm and knowledge made the whole thing worth it. He showed us how the indigenous people created traditional textile dyes, taught us about the terraces and agriculture, cracked jokes to keep things light, and genuinely answered all our questions. We even got to know him over dinner and learned he became a guide because a teacher inspired him early on, and you can totally feel that passion in everything he does. If you want to learn the real history of the Sacred Valley, Charly’s your person. Highly recommend.

Charly is so friendly and I would recommend him to anybody. Transport wise, we were picked up in a very spacious, clean and comfortable car. It helped to make the day very enjoyable. Our driver was called Nelida and I felt very safe with her. Sometimes she would even meet us in the vehicle after we had walked around a site, to save us having to walk back up a hill. I booked this tour as part of the 8 days Cusco- Salkantay pass trek. Only me and another lady were in the tour so it felt super private and comfortable with a private SUV car. Charly - our tour guide was so caring and knowledgeable (because he's a history teacher himself!), helping us learning a lots about the culture, architecture, history of the sacred valley. highly recommend it!

Charly was exceptionally attentive, especially helping us acclimate to the 3,300m altitude before our trek. We had the best tour with Charly! He was so insightful, and really wanted us to fully understand every single site we visited. Each part of the day was so incredible. We had a problem with an accident/traffic at the end of the tour, and Charly went above and beyond to organise a another driver on the other side of town for us to avoid it going back to Cusco.

Pamela was our guide, we had her for 2 days of touring the Sacred Valley. She met us at the airport in Cusco and after a delicious lunch overlooking the main square in Cusco, we hit the road. The Inca sites were incredible and Pamela’s knowledge of history and Inca civilization was brilliantly insightful. She really helped to bring it all to life, drawing attention to the important details of each site and explaining the relevance of the architectural elements, spiritual practices and Inca customs at each site. She was great, and the tour was excellent. Highly recommend both.

I did the Sacred Valley VIP tour with Gary. The experience was certainly 5 stars. Gary was an attentive, incredibly knowledgeable tour guide, who really added colour to every single place we stopped on. His passion for his culture transpired as he told us about the Incas, the different building techniques and architecture styles, the farming laboratories etc. The driver was also excellent, I always felt safe! The food from the buffet was an excellent choice. The sites - each one more stunning than the other, it’s hard to describe by words. If you want to do a Sacred Valley tour that isn’t rushed or crowded, use Trexperience. I had a wonderful day.

It’s a long day; pickup early, back to Cusco late. Budget the whole day for it, don’t try to squeeze anything else in. You cover a lot of ground: Pisac, Moray, Maras, Ollantaytambo, plus a few stops in between. Each one has its own story and the views are genuinely incredible. Even the drive between sites is scenic. The real reason to book this one though is the guide. We had Charlie and he was excellent. He is friendly, deeply knowledgeable, and clearly proud of the history he was sharing. You don’t often meet people who are this connected to their community and genuinely love what they do. Made the whole day. Recommend.

Very good experience. We did the whole hollín valley. The Lunch very good. But the most wonderfull was Charly our guide Who explain everhthing in everyplace we stop by. Super recommended.
