Our trip with Inca Soul was fantastic and incredibly smooth from the very beginning. Our guide, Fredy, was absolutely amazing and truly made the trip for us. When booking tours for Machu Picchu, I came across this tour company and quickly got in contact with Fredy. He was extremely helpful and was able to create an itinerary that fit my groups budget and timeline! When we thought the Salkantay trek wouldn’t be possible, he made it possible for us. We had an incredible experience with Fredy from Inca Soul Peru, and I truly can’t recommend him enough. He organized a seamless two-day private tour for us that included the Sacred Valley, private transportation, and Machu Picchu—and honestly, I don’t know how we would have done it without him. Our two day tour was one of the highlights of our trip to South America. Inca Soul was great to work with and organised all transport making the journey carefree (we were a group of 10). All the stops during the tour were interesting with no random visits to factories for “toilet breaks” to sell you unwanted things. Fredy was a great guide who demonstrated a wealth of knowledge for history on the areas we visited. He was also incredibly charismatic and brought a lot of fun to the tour. Will be using Inca Soul again when we return to Peru.

My husband and I went on the 2-day trip with Fredy and Inca Soul, and words truly cannot describe what an incredible journey it was! We started in Cusco, where Fredy picked us up in a very comfortable van stocked with plenty of bottled water for the drive. Our first stop was Chinchero, where we learned about traditional indigenous textile craftsmanship and purchased beautiful hand-made goods. We then continued to Maras, the salt mines, Moray, an Inca archaeological site, and finally the charming town of Ollantaytambo. Fredy’s wonderful storytelling brought each destination to life! We enjoyed a fantastic lunch in Ollantaytambo before heading to the train station for our first-class Vistadome journey. Although there was a minor delay (not Fredy’s fault), he kept us entertained and informed throughout. When we arrived in Aguas Calientes, the hotel arranged by the company was perfectly located right by the river; we even left our door open that night to fall asleep to the soothing sound of the water. The next morning, Fredy picked us up early for our sunrise tour of Machu Picchu at 5 a.m. Trust me, it was absolutely worth it! We arrived before the crowds and captured stunning photos of this magical world wonder. Seeing the ruins on your own is one thing, but experiencing them with a knowledgeable local Incan guide like Fredy makes it unforgettable. He shared stories and insights that made the ancient walls come alive. All in all, I would 120% do this trip again with Inca Soul and Fredy. The company handled every detail seamlessly, so all we had to do was show up and enjoy the experience. What an amazing journey. Highly, highly recommended!

Our trip to Peru was absolutely unforgettable, and that was all thanks to Inca Soul! Every part of our itinerary was so well-planned and customized to our groups needs/interests— hotels, transportation (including in the middle of the night to the airport!) , & daily activities. Traveling in Peru without any guidance would’ve been extremely difficult, so I am glad we had Fredy and his team to handle all of the logistics and itinerary!! Overall we thought our guide and driver were excellent. What would have made this better? I think some options around where we could eat and maybe the train times to get to Aguas Calientes. We felt this was a great value trip in timing, knowledge of our driver and guide, and cost.

Guido led us on our Inca Trail hike and the logistics were perfectly coordinated - the boxed lunch was especially delicious! The Sacred Valley tour was super scenic, he allowed time for leisurely stops along the way, lots of great photo opportunities. The schedule is flexible, his driver is reliable (clean comfortable vehicles), and we felt completely safe throughout. Inca Soul took care of all the logistics (trains/busses/entrance tickets) so we didn't have to worry about timing and purchasing tickets individually. My guide Valerio was fantastic. He was extremely knowledgeable and patient. We managed to see all the main Sacred Valley sites on the first day such as Moray, Maras, Pisac and Ollyatentambo. The company also gave me clear directions on how to queue for the last minute Machu Picchu tickets at the office in Aguas Calientes, and I ended up getting trail 2a which is the best classic tour. It was really easy to communicate with the tour company over WhatsApp and I felt the service was extremely personalised. I gave my guide tips but I never felt like he was pushy for them, or at any point that I was being upsold the experience. I am a solo traveller who wanted to get the most informative history and culture tour.

We just wrapped up an unforgettable two-day hike on the Inca Trail for our honeymoon, and we couldn’t be happier! Our guide, Elistan, made the whole experience truly special. Freddy and Roy, were amazing guides and administered the tour flawlessly. For starters, Both shared great command of the English language which made the tour administration and experience seamless. During the tour, they demonstrated a sound depth of knowledge and domain competency; were relentless in answering our queries and tailored the visit times at each stop based on our interest levels. To that effect, we had superb meals too (we tried local cuy and hen- which were mind blowing). The tour at Machu Picchu was so enriching, everything was so well taken care of and well curated that we could truly enjoy the breathtaking richness of history. Honestly, the experience was splendid and deeply personal- would recommend to anyone considering a trip to Peru.

YOU NEED TO DO THIS TOUR! This was the greatest experience we had in Peru. I’m not spiritual but having Fredy take us around and explain the meaning of sacred valley and machupicchu made me feel a type of way. This isn’t just a driving tour, you get all of the history plus it’s personalized for exactly what you want to do. We got to see the salt mines which weren’t originally on the tour list thanks to Inca Souls flexibility!

This was a private tour and very well planned. Our guide gave us great information of all sites, very friendly and was great to converse with. He took us for local food which was great. All in all great experience.

Fredy was an incredible tour guide- patient, calm and considerate not only of my family (and our reactions to the altitude!) but also the landscape and Incan heritage! This tour is an utterly incredible experience and by far one of the best things I've ever done. What makes it so special has to be Freddy, the tour guide. His expertise, friendliness and organisation are stand out and everything was seamless with him. Great tour of Sacred Valley and Machu Pichu! Fredy was so accommodating, knowledgeable and made the trip fun. We had planned the trip with another couple but because of an injury, they had to return home unexpectedly. He modified the trip for two, met us at the airport and helped with locating our hotels, the train, the bus and tours. He also made dinner recommendations. We are not Spanish speakers , so were a bit nervous after our Spanish speaking friends had to go home. Fredy went out of his way to do little extras to ease our minds and make things go smoothly. His English is very good and being an Incan himself, he was very knowledgeable on both tours. He also helped us document our trip with photos. He recommended hotels in Aquas calientes, made all the train and transfer arrangements. His SUV is nice roomy and spotless. Our job was to show up and enjoy which we did. We saw many interesting places in the sacred valley and Machu Picchu and enjoyed all, even his food recommendations. We were slow with all the steps in Machu Picchu and he was patient and always helpful. Everything was seamless. Our flight was delayed so he met us at the airport, trying to alleviate the added stress of the changes. He helped us figure out our lost luggage situation (since we do not speak Spanish). He went above and beyond his tour guide duties to make sure we had an excellent tour and time in Cusco/Machu Picchu. He offers tours for all ages including trekking. My boyfriend and I just recently visited Peru. One of our main reasons going there was to see Machu Picchu. We were just going to do a tour ourselves until we were HIGHLY recommended Inca Soul. Once we made it to the entrance..we had the most beautiful view. The last day, Freddy took us inside Machu Picchu. Because of the hike the day before we really enjoyed this part and felt like by the end of the tour we really had a new appreciation for the site and all of the wonders surrounding it. We never had to worry about transportation, making sure we had tickets and even having lunch. Freddy and his team had it all taken care of so you can just be fully immersed in everything you did. What an amazing tour we had to Macau Picchu with Inca Soul! Fredy helped us with the arrangements and there was nothing left to chance. Our guide for the short Inca trail was Elistan. Elistan is an experienced pro who had vast knowledge of everything we saw. He was also a lot of fun to be around. The caring, personalized service we received could not have been improved. When the talents of Inca Soul were combined with the wonders of Machu Picchu it was magical. I remember when I booked this tour that I was actually worried that the reviews for Inca Soul were too good to be true. Now I understand how well earned they are! Our only regret is that we didn’t use Inca Soul for all of our tours in Cusco.

Got to be one of the best hikes in the world. An amazing reward when you climb to the Sun gate and see Machu Pichu and the mountains spread out before you. Freddie, our guide was amazing, sharing the history and customs of the Incas. Thoroughly recommend the 2 day hike.

Fredy and co. are professionals. The guide makes all the difference. He is a very friendly and open person Extremely knowledgeable, he can field any questions you may have.
