Sacred Valley Day Trip From Cusco With Maras & Moray

Regina was very sweet and knowledgeable about Inca culture, however the tour itself was a bit misleading. In the itinerary it says you get 2-3 hours at each site to explore. This is not the case. In fact, most of the day is spent riding on the bus with only 15-20 minutes to actually spend at each site before being herded back on the bus. A couple of the stops felt a little more like tourist traps than authentic historical sites. Halfway through the tour—after seven hours on the hot, cramped bus with several passengers watching telenovellas at full volume on their phones—we decided to bail and hitch a ride back to Cusco. If you want a more enriching tour book something that focuses on just a couple sites instead of four or five. It’s too much for one day. Maras and Moray were really cool and in hindsight we would have just done those.

The booking for Sacred Valley was easy and we were kept abreast of all of the details up to the day of the tour. Our guide, Danny and driver, Walter were fantastic! Danny was very knowledgeable and we especially enjoyed the history lessons. Even our loquatious 9 yo son was kept interested. I highly recommend this tour and Danny.

Erick and Walter were great. This tour was the perfect way to make our way to Ollantaytambo. We did not do the last stop of our tour, instead we caught a train to Águas Calientes.

Henry is an excellent tour guide. highly recommend him. The tour was good and the lunch was very good. if you want to do a thorough visit to each site, it might be better to book over two days rather than one as there is so much to cover. however, if you are time poor or are happy to see and do the key things at each site the one day tour is fine.

The guide was good. The tour was very well organised. We had selected the tour option with lunch. The lunch was buffet and it was quite good. But the downside to this tour was that, when we wanted to communicate our pickup details on the viator webpage, our hotel was not figuring in drop down list. We sent a couple of messages to the tour operator thru Viator. The tour operator initially did not respond to our messages that where sent thru Viator. Later on we got hold of the tour operator's whatsapp number and sent messages directly to them. They finally responded - relieving the stress that could have been avoided.

Our tour guide Eric made this experience really enjoyable. He knows a lot of the intricate details about the different sites he takes you too. His passion for the history of his people comes through during his tour and it’s worth it.

Everything very efficient. Everything on time. Remote support via WhatsApp by Nohemi is perfect. The tours are beautiful and the guide Eric teaches about the history of pre-Columbian settlements.

It was a great experience. With incredible tours. We had all the attention of Nohemi Miranda who managed all our transfers, tours, hotel reservations, entries, and guides via WhatsApp. We just need to enjoy.

great experience with the tour and transportation

It was a full-day tour. It was beautiful, although I would have liked to be able to go down to the salt mines, but due to time constraints, we could not go down. And we also could not tour Ollantaytambo, just take a photo and literally run to the train. Sandro was a great guide; not only did he know a lot, but he was also very decisive with the problems that arose. Although there were complications due to the fire on the tracks and a lot of traffic because of the roads they were conditioning, it is too much for a single day to do Maras, Moray, Ollantaytambo, and the connection to Machu Picchu in one day. The only suggestion would be to divide it into two or spend less time at the commercial points where they sell you textile and food products.

Very good experience, it was our first time and the tour was exceptional.

Tour rich in culture, an immersion in Inca history. We left around 6:30 p.m.; the stop time is short, but enough for photos and to know a little bit of the place. We arrived around 19h; in Pisac, we arrived near the closure, so we didn't go very far, staying only at the first viewpoint. I would dispense the stopping in the stone and silver store, not the store itself, because the explanation of the boy is quite interesting; but some people decide to buy, and take a long time to choose and return to the van; who does not buy, is waiting for the goodwill and the notion of some people from the group, which ends up delaying the return to Cusco. Moreover, I believe there should be a stop time for the selection of these products. The day we went, people took almost 30min choosing. I found notion and respect for those who expected.

Very beautiful places that overflow with history and to reflect on Life.

We did the Sacred Valley with Maras and Moray and it was one of the tours that most connected us to Inca history. Moray’s circular platforms are fascinating and the Maras saline plants are visually impressive and culturally rich. The guide explained very well the agricultural and historical function of these sites and the transportation between points was comfortable. Ideal for those who want to understand the Inca agricultural engineering in a well spent day.

Very interesting this guided day trip recommended by the Enterprise. In our case, at the end of the Sacred Valley, we stayed in Ollantaytambo. The guide, driver and transport according to the event.

The agency is very good and they are willing to make the experience in Peru good. The restaurants they chose for some tours lacked a good sanitary system but this was managed with the agency to improve this experience.

The tour was very nice, the guide was super good people and explained everything very well. But the tour is well run, has all the time very timed and this ends up spoiling a bit the brightness of the locals, it is not a problem of the agency, because they all sell the tour equally, but it would be better used if they were divided into two days. My suggestion is if you have more time to travel get to know the communities separately. And one thing I didn't like very much about the agency is that it's pretty commercial, so it was taking us to shops which wasn't very much our travel profile.

Book from Mexico the tours and everything turned out very well!! From Lime I took the tour of Nazca lines and oasis in Huacachina, in Cusco I took the tours of maras and moray, mountain of 7 colors, and Humantay lagoon. Very punctual, excellent guides and drivers. Always one day before your tour they send you the complete information and confirm pickup time.

It is one of the tours that I enjoyed the most, very complete, but as you visit so many places is very little time for each one. You must go to Pisac for a full day. Very nice and organized
