Sacred Valley And Machu Picchu 2 Day Tour With Hotel

Thank you Danny and your team for an excellent trip: Our trip was Cuzco city / local area and Sacred Valley walking and by bus, train to and overnight in Aguas Clientes, and a morning in Macchu Pichu. Well organised including a WhatsApp call to Europe to confirm some details in advance, full (but not packed) interesting and varied itinerary, knowledgeable guides (Sandro and Isa) who showed up on time, comfortable minibuses, a willingness to tweak the itinerary when timings over-ran, Danny's rapid responses to every contact prior to and throughout the trip. Extra-special thanks from, 1) A member of the party who got sick in Aguas Clientes / Macchu Pichu and needed medical attention, particularly for arranging the unexpected chaperoning through Macchu Pichu and onto the train. 2) My daughter for rescuing her special soft-toy left behind in Aguas Clientes (delivered to our hotel in Cuzco within 12 hours of asking Danny if it had been found.) When we come back or any friends ask for advice, we will start by making contact with Danny and his team.

Isa and Edi were great tour guides. It was our first time visiting outside of my father and their great expertise combined with their hospitality and friendliness made navigating Cusco and Machu Picchu. We stayed in Peru for 9 days and enjoyed every bit of it thanks to them. I would highly recommend them for any prospective travelers looking to explore Peru .

Peru Hikers was a great company to work with for out trip through the sacred valley and then to macchu Picchu. Sandro took such care of all the details on the sacred valley tour. His professionalism, patience and passionate attention to detail in presenting the facts about the places we visited was just awesome. Berny was such a nice and safe driver as we moved through the country. The tour was well paced and our 5 children ages 9-25 found all the stops so engaging. Isao met us when we arrived in aguas calientes and made sure the transition from train to hotel was smooth and the plan was clear for the next day. Isao met us in the morning and everything went perfectly at our time at Machu Picchu. As we watched others moving through the site, we felt like we were getting a better experience than everyone around us. Like Sandro he told us about everything with such interest in the details. There was no sign that they give the tour many times before. They were eager to answer our questions and attend to our interests. Peru hikers far exceeded our expectations in every way. There is some stress to booking a trip with so many variables so far from home and they really anticipated and took care of everything. My husband and I had an amazing time exploring the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu with our tour guide, Isao. Having traveled all over the world, I can confidently say that Isao is one of the best guides out there. He was informative, kind, spoke excellent English, and there was no pressure to buy anything. Oh, and his photography skills are near professional! We even learned a few tricks from him. Isao focused on our travel priorities while making sure we saw the best sites/views without feeling rushed. I’ve gained a new respect for the amazing country of Peru after our educational and fun tour.

JD (Daniel) took excellent care of us. He guided us on how to get the bus and trains and also entrances to Machu Picchu. It was a very informative tour and we learnt a lot. The sights were spectacular.

My wife and I did a 2 Day Tour with Peru Hikers taking in the amazing Sacred Valley and incredible Machu Picchu! From start to finish the tour was exceptional! On the morning of Day 1, we got picked up from our accommodation by our personal guide (Isa) and driver (Danielo) in a very comfortable people carrier where we headed off for the Sacred Valley. We stopped off at many places in the valley, and even undertook a short hike within the Pisaq Inca Site which was a fantastic bonus! For lunch, we stopped at a brilliant place where an extensive buffet was available for us to pick whatever we wanted! Definitely the best tour lunch we’ve ever had! After lunch we headed for our second Inca Site - Ollantaytambo! Here we learned more about the importance of the site and the daily routine of the Incas. Overnight was spent at a lovely hotel in Aguas Calientes in preparation for the main event - Machu Picchu - the next day! Day 2 involved an early start but Isa met us at the hotel at 6AM to get us on our way! After a short drive to Machu Picchu on an organised bus, Isa brought us through every nook and cranny of Machu Picchu which made for a fantastic and enjoyable 3 or more hours! Isa is a great character and was incredibly knowledgeable and personable throughout and we really enjoyed his company! Do not think twice about booking Peru Hikers, they are extremely dedicated and excellent at what they do! Highly recommend!

A brilliant tour! 100% recommend! We were disappointed our Salkantay trek had to be cancelled due to landslides on the trail, but Peru Hikers put our safety first, and we really appreciated it! Daniel was great communicating with us the whole way through from our initial query. On day 1 we visited Pisac & Ollantaytambo with a lovely buffet lunch on the way. Honestly, one of the best lunches I’ve had on an organised tour. We stayed in a lovely hotel in Aguas Calientes and we had dinner included in a restaurant just 5 mins away. Both exceeded our expectations. Machu Picchu was of course the highlight - incredible! Our guide Isa was fantastic from the moment we were collected in Cusco. Very knowledgeable and friendly.
