You will be picked up in your hotel at 08:00 am, then we will drive for about 3 hours towards the trail head where we will start our hiking adventure towards the Rainbow Mountain. We will reach the mountain once everyone has gone so we will have the whole mountain only for us. Afterwards, we will hike down to the parking lot and drive to a beautiful place to enjoy a delicius picnic lunch in our exclusive place with unique views. After the lunch experience, we will drive back to Cusco and drop you off in your hotel.
Elis the guide was very experienced, nice and made us very nice pictures. Alex the driver made the transport smooth and safe. The food of the restaurant was also nice. Very nice experience. The time flied.

Marco (driver) & Alex (guide) were prompt, knowledgeable & very pleasant. We chose to take the horses to & from Rainbow Mountain to save trekking time & were able to spend a little more time at the sumit to enjoy the beautiful views. Highly recommended!

I really enjoyed my visit to Rainbow Mountain, even despite the rain and sleet! The altitude and cold temperatures are no joke so be prepared! They gave us hot tea and blankets when we got back to the van, which were much appreciated. It was really incredible to see the mountain with so many different colors. I also enjoyed the drive and getting to see more remote areas of Peru. Lunch was delicious! Our tour guide Alex was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful when I was feeling unwell at the top.
Alex was a wonderful guide. He was always concerned about our safety. Both my wife and I opted for riding horses up. The surprise was the lunch - an excellent way to end our tour. We highly recommend this tour.
What an amazing day! The scenery was gorgeous!!! Our guide, Alex, was wonderful - he shared a lot of information about the area and the culture and was very patient and supportive during the climb. Our driver, Jober, was amazing as well, giving us a comfortable ride, a great playlist, and was an expert navigating the speed bumps, alpaca traffic, and city chaos!! This day trip was one of the highlights of our two-week trip to Peru!! It was awesome!!!
Elisvan (tour guide) and Alex (driver) were excellent, we had a great time. Answered our questions all the way up and down about the area, Elisvan set a great pace for us to be able to do the climb. The start time is perfect as everyone who set off early is just about cleared off by the time you get up there - so excellent for pictures! Also lunch was excellent

Our experience with Peru Private Tours was very good. Our tour guide Flor and Vehicle driver Alex were friendly, courteous , accommodating and all round good folks . We were picked up on time at the hotel and dropped back in time The Vehicle was clean and spacious. The breakfast and kick place they took was good with clean toilets . Flor patiently explained everything to us and Alex drove safely up and down the windy, scary mountain path If there was one temporary hiccup, it was that we made a late request add-on for Red Valley the day before the trip. The tour organiser on WhatsApp said it was not possible . But the tour guide on the day, Flor, said it was doable and helped us complete it. It was totally worth it. Overall , an excellent experience with this tour group for Rainbow mountain and Red Valley . We would certainly recommend Thanks Flor & Alex.

We had an amazing experience to rainbow mountain with our guide Elispan and Alex. They were very professional and nice people - I’m so glad we had our trip with them. The hike itself was not easy because of elevation, but Elispan made sure we were all in good condition and gave enough time. On the way he told us many interesting stories about the culture and region. When we were up there he took lots of good pics for us. I would recommend this tour for anyone who is hesitating!
Fantastic tour. Elis was a superb guide. It is totally worth taking the 8am tour vs the early morning tour, you get to be alone at the top of the mountain. We were provided snacks, a comfortable bus and hotel pickup. Only 4 people were on our tour. Alex the driver was super smooth and we were able to sleep on the way home. The restaurant which provides the included lunch was also delicious. 100% recommend. Thanks!

One of kind experience Fantastic driver Alex and top guide Elivan. Alex drove very safe, after the visit he was waiting for us with a warm towel en a cup of coca tea. Eli is the best ever guide and entertainer. He looks after every single member of the small group. He brought poncho’s made by his mom to take pictures on the top of the mountain. On the way back each nationality got his most popular songs, then the tim went faster. The bus was very comfortable and had even oxygen on board if needed. We had a very nice lunch. The advantage of leaving at 8 is that is is calm, with the bag of snacks we got it was OK to wait for lunch till 3PM

It was tough but worth the efforts. Everything well organized, the guide Ron was well informed and told great stories. We felt safe because they brought Oxygen and other medicines, going to 5000 meters hight gives you some issues. And then the forward, such great views, just amazing!!

We had a great time hiking Rainbow Mountain with Ronaldino as our tour guide. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and made sure we all had an amazing time! It was very nice to have the private car pick us up and Marco was an excellent driver. We were able to stop about halfway to rainbow mountain and use the restroom, pick our meals for lunch and received snacks and water for the hike! The lunch was great! Would definitely recommend using them to anyone wanting to hike rainbow mountain! A challenging hike but so worth it!!

Alex is our guide who’s very helpful and attention to detail. He helped us to change USD to SOL in advance. We did the horse riding initially then 20mins walk to the top. The altitude is very high like 4800m, so it’s very difficult to walk. Alex is around to help and wait. He also bring the oxygen bottle. The lunch is in a beautiful restaurant, the food is delicious
Simply amazing! Ronald showed us an excellent time and Alex got us there and back safely. I agree with all the other reviews. Not sure why anyone would wake up at 2 or 3 in the morning to go with 1,000 of your closest friends when you can have the mountain to yourself. Plus we had a great lunch/dinner as well. Don't look anywhere else, book this now!

Both Alex (the Driver) and Alex (the Guide) were absolutely fantastic! Alex our guide spoke great English and communicated everything effectively and clearly. He also went out of his way to help up at almost every point of the trip - he provided us with oxygen and medicine to help with altitude sickness. Additionally, my family and I accidentally hiked up too high and Alex made 3 individual trips up and down the mountain to help us down! Overall, a great experience and would absolutely recommend Alex and Alex for anyone looking for a tour guide/tour group to Rainbow Mountain!
We had the best time visiting Rainbow Mountain with Elis and Marco! We had quite a crazy weather day going up to the mountain and Elis made it so much fun despite the elements. We learned so much about the Quechua culture, the Cusco culture and the mountain. Elis was so knowledgeable and Marco got us up the mountain safely! John was an amazing guide who provided excellent historical and cultural context to our trip. He also ensured that our journey to Rainbow mountain was smooth and that we were taken care of. Alex helped us reach the destination safely (he was essential to this trip). We were never rushed, got plenty of time to enjoy the hike and take pictures. John was incredibly helpful in finding us the right angles to beautifully capture Rainbow Mountain. Leaving at 0800 AM was definitely the right choice for us as it was less crowded.
The Rainbow mountain tour organized by Peru Private Tours (I booked via Viator), was one of the best experiences in the full trip. The company was very trustworthy, they sent all information in a timely manner and got us “Alex” - the guide, who we cannot appreciate enough. Alex helped us each step of the way, and went above and beyond when one mber of the family was stuck at the peak. Cannot thank Alex and Peru Private Tours enough. In fact, after experiencing 4 tours in total, I would go one step further and recommend Peru Private Tours company for any tour they offer. The level of service and experience they provide is just superb and better than most other tour companies. The cost may be a a little higher, but if you want better experience and no-headache/ stress/ anxiety, book with them. You will thank me later.

Everything about the trip was fantastic. Peru Private Tours picked us up on time and got us back to the hotel safely. The drive was long but there were plenty of sights to see and they provided a great lunch after hiking Rainbow Mountain. They provided excellent care for my wife when she showed signs of hypoxia. Our visit to Vinicunca was a great experience. We were picked up directly at the hotel, and were lucky enough to have the entire van to ourselves for the duration of the tour. Despite a road being blocked on the drive to Rainbow mountain, our driver Alex and guide Elis were extremely helpful and resourceful in getting us there. We always felt safe on the mountain roads, and we also had a very good included lunch and nice snacks as well as water. Once we got there, we were able to take horses up most of the way and from then on we walked. Though we didn’t need it, oxygen tanks were available just in case. Along the way Elis explained to us the culture and significance of the region and certain landmarks. Elis also let us borrow very nice ponchos to take photos. Vinicunca is a beautiful place, and it is worth visiting. It was a great chance to support a local company. Thanks to Alex and Elis!
