You will be picked up in your hotel at 04:00 am, then we will drive for about 3 hours towards the trail head where we will start our hiking adventure towards the Rainbow Mountain. We will reach the mountain before big groups are arriving, we will have time to enjoy the beautiful views without crowds. Afterwards, we will hike down to the base of rainbow mountain to do another extra 30 minutes hike towards the Red Valley viewpoint where we will enjoy magnificent views. Then we will walk down through the beautiful red valley, it will be a unique experience, with no one else along the trail until we get to the parking lot, once in the car we will drive to a beautiful place to enjoy a delicious picnic lunch in our exclusive place with unique views. After the lunch experience, we will drive back to Cusco and drop you off in your hotel.
The Red Valley is a beautiful valley very close to Vinicunca, that is almost completely covered in red, a valley that seems to be out of this planet. It is a new tourist attraction that is very close to the famous Rainbow Mountain, is an impressive place, and the best thing is that few people visit it.
Great experience with both Marco (driver) and Alex (guide). From start to finish, they handled everything and made it very easy for us to fully enjoy the experience. Safety was very important to Alex and had oxygen for us to use when we were struggling with the altitude. Highly recommend!

This is very unique site definitely worth visiting. Reaching it is challenging. We decided try this ATV tour. Our guide soon realized that we are not meant for ATV. He got us a Sherpa and he himself drove us on ATV. At end we also took motorcycles to reach top. Views of rainbow mountain are spectacular. Must see in Peru. This is 16k+ feet altitude so try this on your last day in Cusco when you are acclimatized.
Our guide, John, was exceptionally professional, patient, and attentive. He went above and beyond throughout the entire trip to take care of us. His English is fluent, and his explanations were always clear and informative. Thanks to his guidance, we successfully reached the summit with no regrets and zero altitude sickness. We would love to travel with John again in the future!
The rainbow mountain is an amazing spot. Alex and Elis took good care of us from the pick-up to the drop off. Everything is well coordinated and is in a good ambiance. The guide (Elis) is going up on a good pace and waits for everyone. Finally, the driver (Alex) tries to avoid the traffic as much as possible by taking short cuts for example, he drives really well. We can only recommend this tour agency !
This was a 10/10 experience! Both our driver (Paulino) and our guide, Alex were amazing!! I cannot stress enough how patient, attentive, and informative Alex was. He allowed us to take our time, took so many amazing photos, and was very kind to us throughout the entirety of the trip. I’d ask for him for any experience you can.
Highly recommend! Alex was our guide was very knowledgeable, patient, professional, and went with us every step of the way. The hike was harder than expected and he kept the oxygen handy, and didn’t mind that it took us a longer time than expected. He told us the fees upfront for all the different points of the experience. Chose a perfect time to go to avoid all the crowds.

We had an AMAZING experience with Alex and Alex on the Rainbow mountain trip! They picked us up from the hotel and immediately handed us lunch boxes with snacks and water. They also gave us blankets for the ride! We stopped at a beautiful restaurant half way there to use the restroom , grab coffee and put in lunch orders. The restaurant bathroom was spotless and included toilet paper. We carried on to the mountain, we used horses for the way up, but Alex was right there beside us the entire way. When we arrived to the top, there were vendors and places to relax. Alex took Awesome photos of us! We couldn't have captured better pictures ourselves! We ventured back down the mountain on foot. It was a much easier treck going down. When we arrived back to the van, both Alex the driver and Alex the tour guide were waiting with hot face towels and hot tea!! This was wonderful, because we were freezing at this point. Next stop was back at the restaurant where we had ordered ahead. Our meal was 5 STAR and INCLUDED with the trip. The meal was nothing short of incredible! We ate, and got back on the road. I wish I could give this experience 10 stars! We have been on many tours and this was by far the best experience .
We went with Elisban and Alex on tour and they were amazing. So many personal touches to make it the best experience for us. Blankets in the car, tea and fresh hot towels when the hike finished and a musical ending and thats just a fraction of it. Recommend!!!

Ronaldo was a superb guide! He is very good at making sure we all were safe, comfortable and informed of each step of the tour before we experienced it. Very good english, too. Alex was the most skillful driver in unexpected circumstances and provided hot tea after the return. Would certainly recommend each of them very highly.
Ronald was the best guide and this was the best experience. It beyond exceeded my expectations. From the pick up at our Airbnb to rainbow mountain was excellent. And Ronald made the trip extra special and made sure everyone in our group was having a positive experience. Don’t hesitate to- this experience is a must.

What an amazing very professional experience this was. A beautiful snack pack was prepared for a breakfast filled with nutritious delicious food and water for our journey. Part way up we stopped and a local bread was purchased which was shared amongst us was utterly delicious. When we got there I hired a horse and our guide was just perfect for us all helping us get up to the top of rainbow Mountain. The weather wasn't on our side, however we all made it. The three course meal that we were served on the way back down was delicious. I highly recommend this company.
Hiking Rainbow Mountain was one of the most challenging yet rewarding experiences of my life. The altitude is no joke, but reaching the summit and seeing those vibrant mineral layers felt like being on another planet. The 360-degree views of the Andes are absolutely breathtaking. It’s a tough climb, but 100% worth the effort!
Our guide, Elisvan & our driver Yober were so much fun. They were so knowledgeable and made the experience perfect! Elisvan got great photos of us and we shared so many great memories on the trip! The food at the restaurant was great and Yober was an incredible driver and made us feel so safe!
the hiking was super tiring but thanks to our tour guide Alex supported us with oxygen and professional equipments, made it much easier. And the driver Yober was amazing, fast but comfortable, saved a lot time
Absolutely wonderful experience. Alex our tour guide provided us with information during the trip, including some Quechua words and phrases. We got to try some traditional bread on our way. We got to see Rainbow Mountain and we also went over to the Red Valley, which was breathtaking. Our driver Johan had some tea ready for us back at the van after the hike. We then had a beautiful lunch at a restaurant in Cusipata. The best part was nothing was crowded as we did the 8am start.
Alex was a great tour guide! Very knowledgeable and friendly. Jobert was an excellent driver who got up to and from the destination safely. They took care of everything, even oxygen if needed on the hike, door to door service, a nice lunch (bring some extra cash/card if you want a drink with lunch), and even a bag with snacks, candy, juice, and water! If you want to ride a horse up and/or down (we rode a horse up which was 80 soles), its also extra and you'll need soles cash for that. There's also the typical tourist stuff at the top (Llama pics, snacks, food) which you'll need cash if you want. It's a long drive, but the hike is great and the views are awesome.
Juan (John) was an excellent guide. Very educational experience. Super helpful & protective. We're an older couple (70s) and he took extra good care of us, always making sure we were safe. Took some great pictures of us too! Lunch was delicious as well. Would highly recommend this tour.
It was a very fun experience! Our guide John was very welcoming and the whole experience was stress free. Very well organized and we had plenty of time to enjoy the view. This tour gives us the chance to see the best views of Rainbow mountain with very minimal people on top! I would do it again for sure!

Alex our tour guide was so wonderful, from the moment he picked us up to the end of the day. We went with kids and he was so patient and helpful. Alex, the driver of our bus was also wonderful. The ride was gentle and when of the kids got altitude sickness he immediately stopped and helped the child off the bus and gave him a spot in the front seat. I highly recommend if you do this tour request Alex and Alex! The rainbow mountain is indescribable. There really are no words. DO NOT MISS IT! It is an experience of a lifetime.

I had an amazing day trip to Rainbow Mountain with Nayda! From start (8.00am) to finish, she was friendly, organised, and incredibly knowledgeable about the area. The journey was comfortable and well-paced, with thoughtful stops along the way. Nay made sure everyone in the group felt looked after and gave us plenty of insight into the culture, history, and natural beauty of the region. The hike itself was unforgettable – breathtaking views, stunning colours, and lots of opportunities for photos. Nayda kept the energy positive and encouraging, as I had not quite acclimatised to the altitude and spent half of the trek up on horseback, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Lunch was good, ordered in advance and a good selection for meat and non meat eaters. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting Cusco – it’s definitely a highlight of my travels and Nayda made it extra special.
elisvan our tour guide and alex our driver gave us an amazing experience with going up to the mountains and explaining a lot of information about the local animals. they also have oxygen masks that they bring to the top of rainbow mountain to further assist your needs overall it was really beautiful we felt enough support and made great memories
Alex was an amazing tour guide . Was so patient and helpful and came very prepared with hiking sticks and oxygen tank . We used both aa needed and felt very safe, secured, and taken care of by him. He also took amazing pictures for us and bought us snacks and water. The lunch was provided by the tour company. Really amazing! We are very delighted by this private tour

It was a excellent experience. On the top of mountain was snowing. We had a perfect guide who had everything under control and he advised us with very useful tips. Everything was very good organised. And the lunch back home was also excellent! 10/10!!!!!!

Elisvan was excellent and shared so much knowledge and history of the area as well as the Inca people. These guys were top notch and where there with us the whole way. The lunch was also tasty.
Pick up was not confirmed and driver arrived 30 minutes early. Guide provided zero history and failed to mention the additional cost to view Red Mountain. Driver was passing on double yellow lines and was reckless. Our friends did Alpaca expeditions same day and although more expensive a much better experience. You get what you pay for. Tea and hot towels were a nice touch. Restaurant was good but server did not seem happy to serve us.
