About Activity
Private half-day tour exploring Cusco, the Imperial City of the Incas, combining history, culture, and daily local life. Begin at the vibrant San Pedro Market, considered the true heart of the city, where you will experience local colors, flavors, and traditions in a lively Andean atmosphere. Continue to Koricancha, the most important temple of the Inca Empire dedicated to the Sun God Inti, later transformed into the Santo Domingo Convent, where Inca stonework still forms the foundation of the colonial structure. Then visit the impressive Sacsayhuamán fortress, known for its massive stone walls and panoramic views over Cusco. The tour continues on foot through cobbled streets, passing Sapantiana aqueduct and the San Blas artisan district, before reaching the Plaza de Armas and the Cusco Cathedral, home to an outstanding collection of colonial art.
