About Activity
Vinicunca, or Rainbow Mountain, is a must-see in Cusco. We start early from the hotel to Cusipata, then head to Phulawasipata for the hike. Along the trail, enjoy llamas, alpacas, and views of Apu Ausangate. After about 1.5 hours, we reach Vinicunca at 5,020 meters. The colorful mountain's mineral-rich soil creates stunning reds, purples, greens, yellows, and pinks. After an 8 km hike, we return to Cusipata for a traditional lunch.
