About Activity
Experience one of the Sacred Valley’s most authentic and less-visited routes on this private full-day adventure combining gentle trekking, nature, and Inca heritage. The journey begins with a transfer to the Rayanniyoc community, where a mostly downhill hike offers a comfortable and scenic walk through Andean landscapes, farmland, and traditional villages. Along the way, reach the Raqaypata archaeological site, an ancient Inca settlement featuring terraces, stone structures, and panoramic viewpoints over the valley.
Continue to the impressive Perolniyoc Waterfall, a sacred 80-meter cascade surrounded by lush vegetation and dramatic scenery, once used for ceremonial purposes in Inca times. The experience concludes in Socma village with a picnic lunch in a peaceful rural setting, offering a genuine connection with local life and nature.
