Peruvian Cooking Class Cocktails And Market Tour In Cusco

Great local experience with Jesus leading our group. First through the market, explaining various fruits, vegetables and other Peruvian staples. Then a short walk to the workshop for cooking class where we first sampled fruits unique to.Peru, then mixed up pisco sour followed by assembly of multiple dishes, mixed up a second cocktail, more food and dessert. Food was excellent and the experience was fun.

This was a wonderful experience. Carlos was a great teacher and is so informative. The food and drink were delicious and I left knowing how to cook Peruvian dishes. Thank you so much. I thoroughly recommend this experience and had a wonderful night

Carlos and his team (Lucy and Anna - at the studio) were exceptional. Meeting at the San Pedro markets with a small group of five and then going through and having the different food explained as well as getting to sample was great fun. My partner was not feeling the best suffering the effects of the altitude. Carlos was so kind and attentive. He even ordered and paid for a taxi for us after recognising my partner was unwell so that we did not have to walk in the heat back to the studio. The cocktails and food we made were all so delicious and there was so much. This was a fabulous experience, I would do it again and recommend to anyone to do it as well. Muchas gracias

Was a great experience. Learnt lots of Peruvian history about the food. It went for 4.5 hours but got fed very well a five course meal!

We had so much fun with Carlos. This is perfect for those that are just arriving in Cusco. He was showing us around the market and giving us the inside scoop of what and where the locals buy their goods. The food was excellent, the cocktails were unique and any foodie would love to experience this!

Chef Carlos was very knowledgeable and entertaining! The walk through the market was very informative and the food afterwards was very delicious. I highly recommend taking the time to do this tour if you enjoy food or cooking.

This was a really fun experience. We met at the market, where we got to try some things we wouldn't have been brave enough to try on our own (or had the language skills to ask for!). Our guide and chef for the day, Carlos, was a total gem. We packed a lot into four hours together, making two drinks and three dishes, all of which turned out really well. Starting the class off with a pisco sour was an interesting choice. :) For those who don't drink alcohol, mocktail options were available. The recipes could also be easily adapted for vegetarians and vegans.

I had the most wonderful time at the market tour and cooking class with Jorge! All of the dishes we made were delicious and Jorge gave great explanations of the ingredients and the history of the dishes. The whole experience was seamless from the equipment being set up when we arrived at the kitchen to the wonderful staff who handled clearing of dishes to the timing of the dishes being served. I cannot recommend enough!

Had a fantastic time with Chef Carlos! Our group class turned into a private lesson when we found out we were the only ones who booked the morning class on a Tuesday 😂 Carlos took us around the market, taught us about local produce, gave us samples, all of which were delicious and fun without being intimidating. Spend about 45 mins at the market before heading to his studio which is a great space. Everything we made was fun, interactive, yummy, and customizable. For example, my husband and I don’t drink much and have different spice tolerances and Carlos helped us customize everything to our preferences! He was a great teacher who also helped us learn more about Peruvian cuisine. Excited to try these dishes when we get home! Thanks team!

This was easily our favorite tour of the trip! Rich in culture, experimental and full of fun from beginning to end. We learned soo much, got to try exotic fruits and learn rich history about the foods in Cusco and their influence. My only regret was not doing this on the first day so I could go back and get my favorites from the market. Jorge and Carlos were also extremely accommodating to my food allergy and took it very seriously, making me feel welcomed and very well fed. They never made me feel like an inconvenience. The drinks were flowing, the food was amazing, and our group was a vibe. 10/10 no notes!!! ❤️ Book with them and you will not regret it.

This was so amazing the market shopping the ingredients bought the food we made I loved it I highly recommend. Chef Carlos made it so easy to understand the menu explained it so clearly and gave us the historical origin of the meals . Please book this experience you won’t be disappointed. This was a wonderful cooking class with our chef Carlos. He explained the history and culinary backgrounds of the dishes and showed all the steps we needed to do. Then we did almost all of them ourselves and got plenty of food! The afternoon flew by and the pace of everything was good. Highly recommend this tour!
