Depending on the circuit selected at the time of booking (1, 2, or 3), you will follow the designated route and immerse yourself in this once-in-a-lifetime experience. After the guided tour, you’ll also have free time to enjoy the citadel at your own pace.
From Machu Picchu to Aguas Calientes After your guided visit to Machu Picchu, you will return to Aguas Calientes either by bus or on foot, depending on the program you have reserved. If your package includes lunch, you will enjoy it at a local restaurant in Aguas Calientes. If lunch is not included, you will have free time to choose from the many restaurants available in town.
From Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo After lunch, you will board your train back to Ollantaytambo at the scheduled time. The train journey takes approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes, with the service depending on the train option you selected at the time of booking.
From Ollantaytambo to Cusco Upon arrival at Ollantaytambo station, our transfer staff will be waiting for you according to your train schedule. From there, you will travel comfortably back to Cusco (approx. 1 hour 45 minutes to 2 hours). Drop-off will be at your hotel or, depending on accessibility, at the nearest point to your accommodation.
On a one day trip expect to travel by transfer van for 2 hours, train 1:45 hours, and final bus to Machu Picchu 20 minutes. The experience at the ruins was excellent because of our great guide, Manuel was kind, provided good information, and we felt he gave us his whole attention. The tour agency assigned to us fell short of our expectations, late pick up after a long day.
My partner and I had a pretty good experience. Make sure you plan for a long day. They picked us up from our hotel at 8 AM. Dropped us off at the train. The train is about a 2 hour ride. It was a very bumpy train ride so if you have motion sickness bring something for that. Our tour guide, Manuel, met us at the entrance of Machu Picchu. Fun fact: he speaks 3 languages! His first language is the native language. He was a very knowledgeable guide. He took many photos & videos of us. After Machu Picchu we had time to eat & shop in Aguascalientes. Make sure you bring pesos! Then we boarded the train. After the train ride, someone was there to pick us up and take us back to Cusco. Again make sure you bring something for motion sickness. The car ride back to Cusco almost took me out (that is also about a 2 hour ride). I was very nauseous. Overall I had a good experience!
Tour guide Osman was great and I had a good experience. One thing that was odd was the company had to send me two different entrance tickets, one for 6am and later one for 10am and this caused some confusion.

What an amazing experience!!!! It is difficult to get to Machu Picchu from the airport. You need a taxi, train, and bus. They made it manageable and were very professional and thoughtful. They provided us a place to rest while we waited for our tour. They are excellent and effective communicators. We knew exactly what was next and they reassured us by calling and texting. Someone was already waiting for us at each stop. Bryan, our tour guide, was wonderful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Circuit 2 was incredible. Once in a lifetime experience. Since it was my first time in Cusco, I really appreciated the exceptional service I received from the staff. Worth every penny.

Please read the whole review. At first I was a bit afraid I was going to be scammed. I booked a trip including tickets, but it quickly turned out there were none and I had to buy them directly at the Ministry of Culture in Aguas Calientes. HOWEVER The contact with the office was great. We were patiently informed over and over again, despite my concers, that everything was going to be taken care of. And it really was. We were sent a detailed itinerary aforehand. We arrived at the office where we were allowed to have our care garaged, the staff printed all our tickets. A really nice cab picked us up and brought to the RailPeru train station, we were seated in a nice bus to the Ollantaytambo station, thereon un the train. In Aguas Calientes there was an agent waiting for us, accompanied us to the Ministry to get the tickets, and escorted us to the hostel. The next morning a guide was waiting for us (our warmest greetings to Amerigo!) and went with us on a bus trip to Machu Picchu, as well as gave us a WONDERFUL guided trip to MP. Even our tickets were upgraded from Circuit 1 to Circuit 2. He shot so many cool photos for us. Then, when it was all finished, he saw us off at the gates and we embarked on a return trip. Again, all perfectly coordinated with the office. I am thankfulto HakuTravel for such a great trip!!! Despite my initial thoughts of being scammed, it turned out to be a wonderful experience!!!
We had a great experience with Haku Travels on our trip to Machu Picchu. They got us the coveted Circuit 2 tickets when our travel agent couldn’t and we also used their tour guide for the tour of Machu Picchu. Americo was very knowledgeable and spoke good English. He took some great pictures of our family. He went above and beyond for us, standing in the long bus line at Aguas Caliente early in the morning to get us a spot in the crazy bus line. What a nice tour. We were the first to enter the site early in the morning. When you think about what the Incas built in this remote place at the time with their resources, it is exceptional. A must-do during your trips to Peru! Sandra and Yves
We booked this service for circuit 2 four months in advance. Two months after the purchase they contacted us indicating that they did not have availability, they offered us circuit one and we accepted it. The day before the visit to Machu Picchu, they indicated to us that they did not have the tickets either. Thanks to this agency, on September 10 instead of being at Machu Picchu, we were taking a tour of the Cusco tourist police station and Indecopi to file a complaint for fraud. 11 days have passed and they still have not refunded the money nor have they communicated with us. In addition to this, several people directly in Cusco who work at other agencies that carry out these types of visits indicated to us that the price we paid Haku Travel was exorbitant since we paid double what it actually costs. The reviews for this company on Google are terrible and we were scammed by them.
Everything was wrong. The agency changed the circuits, claiming there was no availability despite them being confirmed well in advance. Although he was communicating, he made changes to what was initially contracted the whole time, and what was finally offered was what he thought, not what I wanted. I decided not to take the tour in the end. I do not recommend it at all. An agency with no seriousness or respect for the client. I am waiting for a full refund of my money and I had to go to the tourism police in Peru, who contacted them. I hope they can receive an exemplary sanction so they do not harm anyone else.

We never took the trip, they canceled our reservation because they never provided the tour and we didn't take it either, the agency does not take responsibility, they don't answer us, and they don't want to refund our money.
The company made the impossible happen, with little planning time put us in the circuit we wanted, high-quality support made by Elmer, always solving doubts and with good availability. About Machu Picchu I think that dispense comments, but I wanted to praise the guide Samuel who knew a lot about the local history, the best roads and places for photos.

It was my first time in Machu Picchu, but I had a really nice time. I was thrilled to see the spectacular view from the train to the destination. The guide explained it to me at the ruins, and I was able to understand it deeply.
