Moray And Salinera De Maras Half Day

This was a great tour. Pickup was a little disorganized. Our guide Raul has so much information to share in both English and Spanish. For a shorter tour, this was great value for money. Both the terraces and salt mines was very interesting. The salt mines are not actively worked during the raining season, so we could not see all the different colors.

It was beautiful. The price was great. However, the guide would in the whole 4 hours not shut up once. We were going crazy. There was no need to start talking about stuff we were not visiting after the itinerary.

A good half day outside of Cusco to see the salt mines and the archaeological site Moray. The guide was very knowledgeable of Incan history and communicated well throughout the tour in both Spanish and English. He also gave enough time to explore or see each of the attractions on our own. I was not fond of the supplementary trip to the textile shop. A person of the shop followed me around the shop and kept pressuring me to buy something, which made me feel uncomfortable.

This was a great experience! The guide was incredibly informative. He made sure the journey was smooth and everyone was ok at all times.

Incredible value for the price! Our guide was super knowledgeable, made sure to give detailed information in English and Spanish, and took time for photos for each group. We had initially booked a longer tour but we were all so tired we decided to find a shorter one and we were so glad for it.

Unreal bang for your buck. Well worth the money spent. Only bummer is no lunch but worth it. Just bring some snacks.

We booked this tour, and communication with the tour guide was very easy. Pick-up location was easy to find. Our tour guide did a great job. Tickets for the Salinera de Maras is not included with this package.

This was a great tour, and definitely worth the cost. 70pen to get into the terraces and 20pen to get into the salt mines was extra, but again overall an affordable day. My only complaint is there was no airflow in the bus whatsoever and was sweltering hot. No windows open, and no air conditioning, I thought I was going to pass out! Luckily the bus portions aren’t overly long. Otherwise had a great day.

The views and the tour were amazing! We can connect and knowing more about Cusco with the history and the people. Recommend!

Excellent trip to Moray and Maras salt mines with a lovely stop at Cinchero textile factory and a surprise stop at a shop selling all things made with Maras salt.

The guide was very engaging and funny! They brought us to a textile shop and a store that sold chocolate and salt from the Maras Salt Flats, which was an nice surprise since it was not on the itinerary.

Both Moray and Maras are spectacular. Memorable experience. Tour operator was professional, helpful snd knowledgeable.

We'd appreciate more time being allocated for amazing views. Half an hour for Moray site just isn't enough. We felt the Spanish speaking tourists got more information then the English speaking part of the group. We recommend full day trip to give you more time to appreciate it.

I enjoyed my tour. The journey to Moray and Moras was mesmerizing because of the beautiful sceneries, I couldn't stop taking photos and videos. I felt safe and comfortable, the tour guide was good too, he also spoke in English. I recommend.

Months before I contacted the operator by email and they never responded. 5 days before the tour I wrote them and took 2 more days to respond. When they did, was only to ask me to provide with the address of my hotel. I did it. The day of the tour THEY NEVER PICKED ME UP, so I called by phone to complained why they never responded, and why never gave me any attention. He tried to send a transport almost one 1 hour later of tour time. Sh*tty service. I want my money back!!

You cannot skip visiting these two sites near Cusco. Both Maras and Moray are quite distinct and interesting to see. The tour was conducted just as planned with no unpleasant surprise. Alexander is a very knowledgeable and informative guide. I can totally recommend them.

Alexander is a very good guide and he organised this tour very nicely. Everything went just as planned. Maras and Moray are very interesting sites and we had enoughtime to click photos and know about the history and formation of these sites.

The salt flats of Maras and the agricultural terraces of Moray trip was very eye cathing and informative. Alexander is a very good guide with a wealth of knowledge and a freidnly attitude. He made a very big difference on this tour. It was a good learning as well as fun trip.

Acabou gerando uma confusão e depois de falar com o guia e o organizador no fim conseguimos entrar nos locais sem problemas.

Tour very rich in information and culture! Very interesting to do with the guide to understand all the greatness and intelligence of the Incas. The Salineras are beautiful, surreal to view them live! It's worth it! I recommend buying the black salt and the chocolates!

It is not advisable to go on this date as it is not like the pictures, our agency should have told us to go elsewhere and the guides want you to buy salt at the door

A great tour for those who want to know a little more about Inca history. Being a half-term tour is great for resting between heavier days. We did with the Machu Picchu trips with the guide Franklin and was super organized with great explanations

O passeio em si é bem interessante com guia pois assim conseguimos realmente entender o sítio arqueológico e também entender como é a produção de sal, as salinas são muito bonitas, valeu a pena o passeio!!

Excelente passeio pra quem não quer fazer todo o Vale Sagrado de uma vez, achei muito mais proveitoso e tranquilo. O guia era excelente, a agencia entrou em contato um dia antes para combinar o pick up no hotel. Foi excelente!

We spent an amazing day visiting Moray and the Salineras de Maras with Machupicchubest. Everything was well organized and the Guide was very nice, you could tell he knew what he was doing. Moray is a fascinating place, those circular platforms are something you don't see every day. And the Salineras... what a stunning place! I never thought I'd see anything like that. In short, it was a relaxed and fun ride, super recommended if you are in Cusco.

This is an efficient tour of the famous salt circle and salt fields. It also includes a salt shop and an alpaca product shop, making it a very fulfilling tour. The guide speaks both English and Spanish.

I went with my mother, who is an elderly person, and the guide was always kind in waiting for me to arrive. The views where the guide takes you in Moray and Maras allow you to take very beautiful photos of each place and accompanied by good information about each area.

The tour/guide itself all right, trying to do the whole circuit (5 places), but the coordinations with the contact with this profile was complicated and worrying, I was the one who had to be asking pickup points, hours, schedules, maybe they are only helpful with foreigners, I would not do any tour with them again, personally I do not recommend them.

Price/performance absolutely fine; The English of the guide was sometimes difficult to understand. Unfortunately we were sitting in the back of the van under the ventilation and it rained dust/sand. (Common problem in Peru). Tour in itself in any case good!
