Pick up from your hotel at 8:00 am and drive towards Chinchero, very popular for its local market, colonial church, and agricultural terraces. We will spend plenty of time in this place before we start driving along the mountains until Moray, famous because of the circular terraces where the Inca engineers used to adapt the product to different climates. Then Drive towards Maras Village and Salineras (Salt Flats), discover the history, process, and benefits of salt. Then, start the journey back to Cusco arriving around 13:30 pm back to your hotel. CHINCHERO; Located at 45 minutes’ drive from Cusco famous because it’s the local market, colonial church, and the farming terraces. MORAY, Located at 3,500 meters (11,500 ft.) compound by 4 circular terraces each of them has its own irrigation system. SALT MINES. Salineras have more than 3000 thousand pounds where locals harvest salt through the evaporation process.

We, a group of 3 persons, had a very memorable trip to Cuzco with Elisban and Elvis for 4 days. They were very flexible to any last-minute changes due to, for instance, flight delay. Elisban, the tour guide, is also a good photographer and always spare us enough time to take photos by ourselves (we were a group of people that love to take photos). That being said, Elisban is also an eager timekeeper; he always reminded us when we were behind the schedule. All in all, he ensured that we could experience Cuzco to it's fullest. Elvis, the driver, was very helpful too.

It was such an amazing experience with TreXperience. They are very accommodating and flexible for our whole trip in Peru. We did this excursion and also those of the Sacred Valley, Lares, Pisac, and the 7 waterfalls. Our guide was René, who made the big difference in all the excursions. Of the 16 countries we know, we can say that he has been the best guide we have had. His knowledge is very extensive, in addition to his life experiences and the way he tells them. Being a local, he was able to share traditions and his knowledge of the Quechua language with us on multiple occasions. His holistic wisdom helped us understand the Inca worldview from a better perspective. He explained plants, astronomy, history, geology, etc. to us—super complete! We regret that he cannot accompany us on our next excursions! He was very patient and friendly with our 9-year-old son and answered all his questions. The transfers were always punctual, and the itineraries were respected in detail. The company was willing at all times to adapt to our requests.
My partner and I took a half-day tour to the Archaeological Park of Chincheros, Moray, and the Maras Salt Mines, leaving from our accommodation in Cusco. The transfer was simple, practical, and comfortable. Jacob, our guide, was really very kind. He answered all our questions and gave us an informed perspective on the history of the sites and the region in general, as well as a sensitive view of the current reality of Peru. I highly recommend it.

Having an efficient and qualified guide makes all the difference for a great tour and a great experience. Edy gave us a fantastic experience!
