Machupicchu Full Day

Very professional and great communcatiion from start to finish. During the planning phase Joan made sure we were well aware of all of our options for our visit and would provide suggestions based on best sequence or group interests. This company goes above and beyond to help and make you feel safe and comfortable. They will be very honest if there are any limitations or challenges and offer you great backup plans to ensure you have the best trip. The best example of this was our own group's late booking of Machu Picchu limited our chances of purchasing the Circuit 2 tickets to in person only. Even though our odds were low and we were well made aware of this by Mi Guia team, Joan went out of his way to meet us as we arrived on train and took us straight to the ticketing office and by luck they had 8 available spots (our group was 5) and we were able to grab those just in time! This would not have been possible without the help from Joan, expediting our way through Aguas Calientes to the ticketing office. My group did Machu Picchu Circuit 1 and 2, Sacred Valley, Rainbow Mountain and Humantay Lake. Everything was very well coordinated, hotel pickups, deep knowledge from the tour guides Joan, Edith and Soledad. You can ask them any questions and they will certainly know. They know all the best spots to take pictures and will help you take all the pictures you or your group needs. In short, I can't recommend Mi Guia Machu Picchu enough and highly recommend them!

I initially chose a different company who charged me alot more…the night before going to machu pichu, they cancelled my reservation…i got in contact with Joan with this company the day before my exspected visit and he went above and beyond to get me the tickets…airport to machu pichu and back…hotel service, baggage service, and private van rides to the airport… very professional and trustworthy…very knowledgeable about the areas we went to…the other companies i called wont even talk to you…this company was in contact with me from beginning to end…thanks again Joan!!!

Scheduled two circuits (2 and 3) with 5 months in advance which we did in one day. Our goal was to climb Huayna Picchu Mountain and we achieved it!!! Definitely a physical challenge but feasible if you take 20-30 second rest breaks every now and then to breathe. Our guide Joan was aware of our physical limitations, frequently assessing our condition, but also encouraging us. Photos do not make justice to the beauty of this place, but be sure to take tons of them!!!

From the pick up to the drop of the day was perfect. The two drivers took care of us with a special attention at the railway station to be sure that we were on the good way. We got a personnal guide who proposes to queue for us at the check in point. We felt he was really passionate about Inca history through the description he did of this sublime site. All the day we felt ourselves as VIP. I really recommend this company for its professionalism and for the team spirit that we could feel from the order to the realisation of the service

The Mi Guia machupicchu travel agency professionally organized trip to Machu Picchu by a guide with a lot of practice and a huge amount of information not only about Machu Picchu but also the area around Cusco. Wonderful understanding for the physical limitations of older people and personal care caused total relaxation while overcoming terrain elevations and other obstacles in the field. I went with this tour company based off recommendations from a friend that used the company and Joan was their guide.. I reached out to Joan who asked what I wanted to see in Machu Picchu and within minutes I had an itinerary to review. His tour company handled all my bookings including airport pickup, hotel, entrance fees, train tickets to Machu Picchu bus tickets and a private tour. Our trip Cusco, Peru has been a spectacular one. There our guides Soledad and Joan and our driver Juan took us to the most important archaeological sites of Cusco. His knowledge of Peruvian history is very extensive and we learned a lot from the Inka culture and Peruvian forklore. They are very professional and well qualified guides. We also visit Machupicchu, Humantay Lagoon and Mountain 7 colors, experiences that we will never forget. Our safety was always his priority. We felt very comfortable with them, as a family. We really enjoyed your company. All the coordination was excellent. Then the visit to Ica accompanied by the guide Carlos was very good. We visited Huacachina and Paracas which we enjoyed very much. We will always remember this wonderful trip to Peru, but especially to the beautiful city of Cusco. Someday we will return and hope to meet again with our new friends in Cusco de Mi Guía Machupicchu. We decided to fly to Cusco very spontaneously to show our children Cusco and Machu Picchu. Sorry, we couldn't find tickets for Machu Picchu at such short notice. Since we had booked the plane tickets first, we were faced with a huge problem as the main goal of the trip was Machu Picchu. The solution was Joan! He was recommended to us by a friend and put together a complete tour within 30 minutes. Drive from Cusco to Ollantaytambo, train to Aguas Calientes, bus to Machu Picchu and circuito 3. And the very best: Joan personally led us through the ruined city. I've been there 3 times before, but I've never experienced as much as with him. With him we were able to talk about all the destinations in Peru and also topics like art or politics. He also acted as an incredible photographer. Excellent. A trip to never forget with an excellent Guide. Visiting machupichu and the mountain of 7 colors will be the must-see places if you visit Peru. Try the delicious quinoa soup to fight the cold. And if you like to fully enjoy the trip do not forget to bring some wines and ask for the temperature so as not to be surprised with the cold.
