Machupicchu Full Day In Private Service

It was such a great experience! I took a private tour of Machu Picchu with Inspirandes in July 2025. Booking was seamless—they answered all our questions promptly. On the day, guide Carlos picked me up on time, shared fascinating history, and pointed out photo-worthy spots. I am very into history so I found this experience very enriching. Logistics were smooth: transport was comfortable, lunch was tasty, and entrance tickets were all handled. Overall, 5/5 stars—perfect for friends or solo travelers who want a personalized, insightful experience.

I am not a person who likes to leave comments very much, but the friendliness and enthusiasm of calos and Clara made me want to leave some traces. I believe that anyone who comes to Peru will look forward to Machu Picchu, and inspire gave me the best trip to Machu Picchu. I chose to come to Cusco at the end of June in the dry season, and contacted calos one month in advance to arrange the itinerary. After arriving, calos introduced me to the knowledge of the Sun Festival and how to go to the right place to watch the performance at the right time. This is the best opportunity to understand the Inca culture (and all of this is an extra service, I am very grateful for it). The subsequent 3-day trip to Machu Picchu, from transportation to accommodation to tickets to scenic spot explanations, is completely in line with our previous communication. calos's explanation is very professional and his photography level is also great. I got a life photo that can be used as a social media avatar. Clara was also very attentive and thoughtful during the communication process, and I like her smile very much. I also met their family in the city, the lovely esteban. I think because of this trip, I have made valuable Peruvian friends. I also look forward to your travel to China~

This was such a great experience, especially traveling in a quasi-solo format for the first time. They met us at our hotel the day before to make sure we had all of our tickets and understood the schedule for the following day. They also reviewed what we would need in order for it to be a great day. In the morning our ride, Andres, picked us up right on time from our hotel and we had a very safe and comfortable ride to Ollantaytambo. He was even kind enough to let us practice our Spanish and we learned a lot about the countryside. He gave us a great directions on how to board the train and we had a seamless transition to Aguas Calientes. Our guide, Carlos, met us at the train station and helped us quickly find a restaurant to satiate my child's needs. It was an excellent choice with a great view. We met up with him after lunch in the line for the buses to go to Machu Picchu. Again, we had a great conversation about the area, the history and just getting to know each other. He helped us get on the bus and rode with us up to Machu Picchu, helping us navigate the entrance into the site. He walked us through the entire site and provided excellent commentary, answering every question that my child came up with. He stopped often to offer to take pictures for us and show us recreations of our specific views from his guidebook. Machu Picchu was a breathtaking experience that we will never forget, and this tour guide company made sure that it was stress-free so that we could enjoy every moment. The return back to our hotel in the evening was just as seamless, safe, and stress free. I will forever be grateful for the day I got to spend with my child in such an incredible place with such kind people. I would highly recommend this experience!!

We had a wonderful experience with Inspirandes, it wasn’t easy with my Parents and 2 daughters (6 & 12 years old). From the beginning, planning it with Clarita was exceptional. She answered all of my questions & concerns. She is very knowledgeable, was very flexible and also has a lot of patience throughout the whole process. We had the private service and it was worth every penny. The van was ready to transport us safely & comfortably. It was also available when my older Parents and young children were tired and decided to stay & rest on some parts of the tour. Victor, the driver, picked us up from the airport, transported us on part the tour(s), took us to the hotel and dropped us off at the Airport. He also helped us load & unload our items. He is an excellent driver & makes great conversation. He was also ready to help my parents & young daughter on & off the van with care. Our first guide, Fernando, who gave us our first tour(s) was very knowledgeable, respectful, patient & kind. He has a lot of respect for his culture & history. He is very passionate about his job. He also helped us carry our things because we were out of breath. Then there is Carlos, who helped us w/ our luggage from the beginning to our hotel which was up a hill. He was our guide in Machu Picchu. In Machu Picchu, he helped my parents thru the rocky terrain. He also had the patience to help us throughout the many stairs. He also helped us carry some of our things, when needed. He’s very knowledgeable and explained to us the history and the beginnings of Machu Picchu. He also knows the best places to take the best pics. He did Not rush us, but kept us on schedule. By the end of the trip, we not only gained a memorable experience, but they treated us & welcomed us like family. I highly recommend Inspirandes. I would place my trust in them for my family & friends. I wish that there were more tour guide companies like Inspirandes around the world. They are trustworthy, patient, flexible, knowledgeable, caring & passionate about making the whole experience worthwhile & memorable. I came to Peru with a dream to visit Machupicchu. I hired Inspirandes to organise my tour to this very special destination - and the Inspirandes team exceeded my expectations. They took care of all the organisation and paperwork. They picked us up from the hotel in Cusco and took us to the Ollantaytambo station. We boarded our train, which they had reserved for us, as well as the tickets and the accommodation in Machu Picchu town. Likewise, the guide at the Sanctuary explained all of the history and details to us with great patience, going at our pace and answering any questions. Wow! What an experience, I'd read the reviews and felt really positive but still had nerves going on a tour solo but to be with a family man who is passionate about what he does and a family man I felt in a safe space out in the wild haha. I couldn't think of a better use of my hard earned money than going on this long trip seeing beautiful landscapes and a whole different world to what I have grown up in while being so catered for and reassured and I'm very greatful I decided not to go with another company because Carlos and the gang were incredible and so easy going! I was so so nervous to not get on with my hosts for the tour as I need a connection to feel safe fit they are so funny and relatable and my lack of spanish didn't phasr them which made me just be able to relax and enjoy every second of this magical place. I couldn't recommend more and any concerns really give them a message and I felt so heard and I trusted that this was just going to be the most fun time!!!!!!! Doooo iiiit!!!! Life is too short! We had an amazing time hiking with the team at inspirandes, Carlos organised everything for us. I can't recommend them enough, tailor made adventure to suit my budget! 10/10

Me and my family did a local tour with Inspirandes as we had heard from another family at dinner the day before about how much of a great time, they and their kids had, had with Carlos, their guide for the day. Booking was straight forward, Carlos is really easy to deal with, friendly and helpful every step of the way. All of our transport was private and we didn't have to join any crowds or deal with any other people. We were picked up from our accommodation and taken to the sun temple for a very informative guided tour, me and my wife love history so we are an easy crowd but Carlos even managed to keep our children engaged which was a real winner for us. Later we went to the outskirts of awanakancha where we got to feed llamas which was the highlight of the whole trip for our children, you shouldn't miss it if travelling as a family! All in all I can't recommend aspirandes enough, especially Carlos with his quick wit and deep knowledge about the history and culture of the area. 10/10

Carlos couldn't have been a more gracious guide. It was our first time in Peru and of course Machupicchu was one of the main things we wanted to do. I've read some of the other beautiful reviews here and I think they are testament to Carlos and the amazing personal service he provides, as well as the wide and varied experiences people seem to have in his company. Me and my boyfriend only had a week to spend in Cusco so instead of choosing one of the longer hikes upto Machupicchu, which would of taken up much of our available time. We decided to choose a quick full day tour with Inspirandes. There are alot of tour companies in Cusco offering all the same things but to be honest with our budget and Inspirandes being a smaller family run company they were perfect for us. They treat us as individuals, making us feel extremely valued. Carlos and his team took care of everything for us, starting with picking us up from our hotel. We were a little nervous that we would not be able to get the most of the tours here with our lack of Spanish but luckily Carlos explained everything to us in English. His wealth of knowledge about the inkas culture and the sacred Machupicchu is unbelievable. We feel so lucky to have been able to see this amazing place with these kind and generous people! I will be recommending inspandes to anyone I meet thinking of taking a tour in the area! It just doesn't get better.. enjoy your trip everyone!

After finding out about Inspirandes through word of mouth amongst the other like minded travelers from the hostel I was staying at I gave Carlos a call. He's super easy to converse with, completely understood what I wanted from my trip and didn't hesitate to throw all sorts of exciting activities my way. I wasn't on this trip for luxury and comfort I was on it for an adventure and some fun. On the first day we spent 3 hours downhill mountain biking followed by two hours of canoeing, some calm and some rapid rivers! Day 2 we hiked through the jungle, some tough going but if your of medium fitness you'll be fine, we had a great lunch and relax in a hammock which was much needed, followed by a relaxing bath in the hot springs of cocalmayo! That night we stayed in a beautiful town of Santa teresa. I woke up that morning to a huge zip line! What a way to start the day... Your only here once so get on that zip line! After that it was a 3 hour walk to Machupicchu town, that night it's dinner in a lovely restaurant with the guys, we were really close by this time, great to hear stories from the other, learning about Carlos family and life in Cusco. On the last morning we heading to Machupicchu for the sunrise and the best views of my life! I couldn't of had a better time, huge thanks to Inspirandes for all there hard work and Carlos for tailoring the trip so I got my adrenaline kicks!

Me and my girlfriends came to Cusco for a bit of an adventure. We heard about Inspirandes through a couple of people staying at our hotel. A quick look on there website and we could tell straight away they were just what we were looking for! After a friendly conversation with the company owner Carlos we decided to throw caution to the wind and book a day rafting in the rapid urabamba river! I know it sounds scary doesn't it :p haha We thought if were here just once then why not do something unforgettable :p It couldn't of been made easier, private transport from our hotel 2 hours from cusco to the river, we all felt the nerves that morning but as soon as we got there and was briefed by the team we knew we were safe and in good hands. I can't even tell you how much fun it was, I don't think we stopped laughing the whole day. If you are in Cusco and have a sense of adventure I can't recommend this tour enough! Had an absolutely unforgettable trip. Everything was taken care of and the team are so fantastic. Working within the aviation industry in the UK I rarely have a lot of time at the various destinations I get to visit but I like to make the most of it when I do. During my time in peru like most people, machu pichu is a must on my list of things to do. Like most frequent travellers I like to support the local family run businesses as apossed to the larger, better financed companies in the area. So through word of mouth amongst other brits who want to be able to plan their trips to suit their budgets I heard of a company called Inspirandes. From first contact I knew what everyone else was talking about, the friendly attentive attitude of the owner Carlos is just what is needed when your in a new environment and wanting a team to support you on a possibly challenging trip. Carlos answered all of my questions and together we decided that a 5 day Salkantay trek to machu pichu would be the best option for me. I wanted to make sure it was a trip to remember so carlos and his team went above and beyond. We had sections where we enjoyed hiking with our bag, taking in the breathtaking views like a true backpacker. Although i have done a lot of hiking in my time, I didn't feel the need to hike for the full five days so Carlos and his team organised horses for us, this in itself was a surreal experience, the horses where beautiful and extremely well looked after, they seemed to enjoy the trip just as much as us. The company also made sure we had a cook as part of our team so all our meals were taken care of, delicious meals with fresh local ingredients. We had an unforgettable night in a geometric dome with moutain views! You honestly will not believe your eyes in this place. The really great thing I found is that once I reached machu Pichu after the adventure with the guys (who by this time felt like family to me) I felt an overwhelming feeling of gratitude, like i had earned the pleasure of seeing this wonder of the world. The photos really don't do it justice, it's a site that will stay with you forever. I will definitely keep in touch with Carlos and his team, I will also be recommending him and Inspirandes to all my colleagues and friends. The personal touch that a family run company adds is unrivalled. I cant thank them enough. Oh, let me tell ya bout the amazin 5-day tour we had, the Salkantay Trek to Machupicchu! It was a jaw-dropper, I'm tellin' ya, me n my family went on this unforgettably journey, and omg, it was somethin' else! The guide we had was Carlos, he and his buddies were so knowledgeable seriously! From the very start, the crew was all hands on deck, helpin us with every step of the way. I mean, they were there for us, all the time! If we had a question, they'd answer it quickly. And, they were so patient and understandin' with us, even when we asked the same question for over agin. Gotta give 'em props for that! The sights! my goodness gracious! The ruins we saw were outta this world, like, ancient mysteries unfoldin' right before our eyes. And them alpacas, cutest little fluffballs ever! We just couldn't get enough of 'em. So much joy every time I laid eyes on those adorable creatures. BThe waterfalls and streams, They were like pure magic. The way the water sparkled and danced in the sunlight was just mesmerizin'. I couldn't help but feel like I was in some sorta fairytale land. Throughout the trek, we faced some challenges, no doubt. But Carlos and his crew were right there, cheerin' us on and supportin' us like family. They knew the trails like the back of their hands, and they made sure we were safe and sound every step of the way. The crown jewel of the whole adventure - Machupicchu! Oh wow! I can't even find the words to describe how breathtaking it was. The views from up there, they were life-changin'. It was like bein on top of the world, and the sense of accomplishment we felt was outta this universe. So, if ya ever get the chance to go on the Salkantay Trek with Carlos and his super knowledgeable, helpful gang, DO IT! You won't regret it, not even a tiny bit. It's an experience of a lifetime, and it'll leave ya with memories that'll warm your heart forever. Trust me on this one!
